On December 26, 2025, the Xi’an-Yan’an high-speed railway started services. The opening of this line has brought China’s high-speed railway mileage (里程) to over 50,000 kilometers. This means China’s operating high-speed railway mileage is more than twice the total length of all other countries in the world. Today, the high-speed railway network covers 97% of Chinese cities with a population of over 500,000, completely changing people’s travel experience. Traveling between cities within 500 kilometers takes only one to two hours, and a 1,000-kilometer journey takes about four hours. An average of 16 million passengers take high-speed trains every day. This is a far cry from the past, when buying train tickets during busy seasons was a headache and the average train speed was only 60 kilometers per hour. High-speed railways now connect big cities with medium-sized and small towns, driving tourism and local industries. For example, since the Hangzhou-Changsha high-speed railway opened in 2014, the number of tourists to Jiangxi has increased greatly. China has shared its technology and experience with over 40 countries, cooperating on projects. From importing (引进) technology to becoming a global leader, China’s high-speed railway is a proud symbol of the country’s progress. 1.Which is true about the Xi’an-Yan’an high-speed railway? A.It carries 50,000 visitors a day. B.It places China as a railway leader. C.Its opening is of great importance. D.Its speed is the fastest in the world. 2.Why does the writer mention numbers in Paragraph 2? A.To describe how vast China is. B.To introduce the best way to travel in China. C.To explain why China needs high-speed trains. D.To show the rapid development of China’s high-speed railway. 3.What do the underlined words in Paragraph 2 mean? A.Is familiar with. B.Is different from. C.Is separated from. D.Is connected with. 4.What is the main idea of the passage? A.The history of China’s high-speed railway. B.The economic benefits of China’s high-speed railway. C.How to improve China’s high-speed railway services in the future. D.China’s high-speed railway: achievements and influences. 根据文章第1段“The opening of this line has brought China’s high-speed railway mileage... to over 50,000 kilometers.”可知,这条线路的开通使中国高铁总里程突破5万公里,达到了一个重要的里程碑,说明其开通具有重大意义。 2.推理判断题。根据文章第2段“Today, the high-speed railway network covers 97% of Chinese cities... An average of 16 million passengers take high-speed trains every day.”以及后文与过去时速60公里的对比可知,作者列举这些数字是为了展示中国高铁网络的覆盖广、客流量大及速度快,从而体现中国高铁的快速发展。 3.词句猜测题。根据文章第2段画线短语前后内容对比:现在是日均1600万人次且速度快,过去是“buying train tickets during busy seasons was a headache and the average train speed was only 60 kilometers per hour”。 Brian Linden, an American, wears many hats: a writer, a businessman, a traveller, an educator, and the founder of a famous hotel. He has lived in a village in Yunnan Province for nearly 20 years. He now considers that he is one of the “cool new Dali people”. Mr Linden was born and raised in Chicago. He first visited China in 1984. He received a scholarship (奖学金) from the Chinese Government and came to study in Beijing. During his stay, he was deeply attracted to Chinese culture and would love to be its communicator. After working and travelling in more than 100 countries, Mr Linden gave up his job in the US, sold his house, and moved to China with his family in 2004. After a tour around China, Mr Linden and his wife finally decided to live in Xizhou, a small town not far from Dali. “I’m a fan of China’s traditional buildings. Xizhou is a beautiful town with hundreds of old buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties. Traditions here keep me as alive as ever, and the local people treat me like family,” said Mr Linden. With the help of the Dali government, Mr Linden repaired a traditional Bai-style (白族风格) house into a hotel for foreign tourists. The hotel provides international education projects for European and American schools. It also opens 50% of its rooms to the public, creating a place for more people to communicate with the villagers. It offers free English classes to villagers once a week. When talking about his future plans, Mr Linden said he wanted to do more to share the beauty of China with the world. “Our goal is to turn Xizhou into a window for foreigners to learn about China,” said Mr Linden. “I hope that through my efforts, more people will love China.” 1.How does the writer start the text? A.By introducing Brian Linden. B.By describing a Yunnan village. C.By talking about the Dali people. D.By explaining Brian Linden’s hobbies. 2.What can we learn about Mr Linden’s first visit to China? A.He studied in Yunnan. B.He moved to Xizhou, Dali. C.He studied for a scholarship. D.He was attracted to Chinese culture. 3.According to the text, what is Mr Linden’s goal in the future? A.To repair more ancient buildings. B.To build more hotels. C.To teach more people English for free. D.To let more people know about China. 4.Which of the following can best describe Mr Linden? A.Careful and strict. B.Helpful and patient. C.Creative and caring. D.Calm and business-minded. 【答案】1.A 2.D 3.D 4.C 【导语】本文是一篇记叙文,讲述美国人Brian Linden在云南大理喜洲生活,致力于向世界展示、传播中国之美的故事。 1.推理判断题。根据文章第一段“Brian Linden, an American, wears many hats: a writer, a businessman, a traveller, an educator, and the founder of a famous hotel.”可知,作者开篇通过介绍Brian Linden来引出文章。 2.细节理解题。根据文章第二段“During his stay, he was deeply attracted to Chinese culture and would love to be its communicator.”可知,他第一次来中国时被中国文化深深吸引。 3.细节理解题。根据文章最后一段“Our goal is to turn Xizhou into a window for foreigners to learn about China”可知,他未来的目标是让更多人了解中国。 4.推理判断题。根据第五段“repaired a traditional Bai-style house into a hotel”及“offers free English classes to villagers”可知,他既有创意改造古宅,又关心村民教育,体现了创造力和关爱之心。 Being compared to great people like Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking is not something that happens to a common person. At the age of just 23, Sabrina Gonzalez Pasterski has already achieved more than most of us ever will in our lifetime. When she was only 14 years old, the Chicago girl made her own single-engine airplane by herself. Then at 16, she flew it across Lake Michigan, becoming the youngest person to ever fly her own plane. She recorded this experience and put it online. Having completed her study in Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy ( IMSA ), she entered Massachusetts Institute of Technology ( MIT ) in 2010. At first, she had to wait to be accepted into the school but once two professors watched her video, they had no doubt. After just three years at MIT, she already achieved the highest possible grade point — an average (平均数) of 5.0. She is now studying further at Harvard University, with full academic freedom (学术自由). What’s even more amazing is that she is no longer interested in building planes but has turned her attention to physics, namely black holes and how gravity (重力) has an effect on space and time — that is why she is being compared to Einstein and Hawking. During an interview she said, “Be optimistic about what you believe you can do. When you’re little, you say a lot of things about what you’ll do or be when you’re older. I think it’s important not to abandon those dreams. You must hold on to your dreams and have a strong will. Work hard and never give up. Your dreams will come true finally!” 1.Why does the writer mention Einstein and Hawking? A.To remember the two scientists. B.To compare the two scientists. C.To bring out the main character. D.To introduce their achievements. 2.What helped Pasterski get a chance to study at MIT? A.Her video of making and flying her plane. B.Her highest average grade point of 5.0. C.Her ability of making videos. D.Her further study at Harvard University. 3.What is even more amazing about Pasterski according to paragraph 6? A.She has full academic freedom at Harvard University. B.She records all of her work on her website. C.She becomes the youngest person to fly a plane. D.She is interested in some special fields of physics. 4.What does the underlined word “abandon” probably mean in the last paragraph? A.Balance. B.Correct. C.Forget. D.Speed. 第一段提到“Being compared to great people like Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking is not something that happens to a common person. Located on the “roof of the world (世界屋脊)”, the 1,956-kilometer railway celebrated its 20th anniversary (周年) this July. Travel between the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau and the rest of China used to be difficult. In the 1950s, camels (骆驼) took three or four months to carry goods (货物) from Qinghai to Lhasa, Xizang. Now, trains can do it in 48 hours. The railway has helped business grow. Near Xining Railway Station, a market for caterpillar fungus (冬虫夏草) has developed. In the past, business people had to drive for days to Xizang to collect the herbs (中药). Now, people in Xizang can bring the herbs by train, and packages (包裹) from the market can reach many parts of China the next day. Lhasa West Station has changed too. The area used to be open land with dirt roads (土路) Now, it’s a modern transport center with 11 lines that carry cars, home appliances (家电), vegetables, fruits and many other goods. Local products, such as apples from Nyingchi and Shannan, are also sold to Nepal by rail. To protect the local environment, many parts of the railway are built on bridges so that wild animals can pass safely below. Today, the number of Tibetan antelopes (藏羚羊) in Xizang has grown from about 70,000 in the 1990s to more than 300,000. “Now, you can often see them running alongside the railway,” Hao Baojun said, who has worked on the line for 40 years. But the changes do not stop there. Earlier this year, China started a new power project (供电工程) for the railway. As soon as it is finished, more trains on the line will run on electricity instead of diesel (柴油). 1.How long did camels take to carry goods from Qinghai to Lhasa in the 1950s? A.About 48 hours. B.Three or four weeks. C.Three or four months. D.More than 20 years. 2.What does the underlined word “it” in the last paragraph refer to (指代)? A.The new power project. B.The railway. C.Electricity. D.Diesel. 3.What can we infer (推断) from the fact that Tibetan antelopes often run alongside the railway? A.The railway is safe for wild animals. B.The railway makes the plateau too hot for animals. C.The antelopes have lost their homes. D.The railway has increased the number of camels. 4.What is the writer’s main purpose in writing this passage? A.To advise people to travel by camel. B.To explain how to grow caterpillar fungus. C.To show that the railway has done harm to wildlife. D.To introduce the Qinghai-Xizang Railway and its positive changes. 【答案】1.C 2.A 3.A 4.D 【导语】本文主要介绍了青藏铁路通车20周年之际,回顾了过去交通运输的艰难,并展示了青藏铁路在改善交通、促进商贸往来、保护高原野生动物生态以及推进绿色电气化工程等方面带来的巨大积极变化。 1.细节理解题。第二段第二句明确提到“In the 1950s, camels took three or four months to carry goods from Qinghai to Lhasa, Xizang.”,说明在20世纪50年代,骆驼从青海运送货物到西藏拉萨需要耗费三到四个月的时间。 2.词句猜测题。第六段明确提到“Earlier this year, China started a new power project for the railway. As soon as it is finished, more trains on the line will run on electricity instead of diesel.”,根据上下文逻辑,代词it指代前一句中为铁路建设的“新供电工程”,说明该供电工程一旦完工将推动列车以电能代油运行。 3. Have you ever imagined a robot cooking dinner for your family? Automated (自动化的) kitchens, once seen only in movies, are now real! Today, AI-powered robots can fry chicken, bake pizza, and even invent new recipes (菜谱). These “smart kitchens” can check what ingredients (食材) you have and suggest meal ideas. While these machines are mostly used in restaurants, they might become common in homes someday. AI kitchens offer many advantages: They save time by preparing everything for you before cooking. This gives people more time for school, hobbies, or relaxing. AI can also create meals for special dishes, helping people eat healthier. For example, a student with food allergies (过敏) could safely enjoy meals designed just for them. However, there are also worries: Cooking isn’t just about food—it’s about the relationship between family members. Families often bond while cooking together, sharing stories, or teaching kids old recipes. If robots start doing everything in the kitchen, this valuable time might be gone. Kids also learn science through cooking, like how baking soda makes cakes rise or why oil heats faster than water. Without these hands-on experiences, learning could feel less fun. Another worry is cultural loss. Traditional recipes passed down from generation to generation might disappear if AI makes dishes easier. Imagine if every culture’s special foods started tasting the same, we would live in a boring world. Food is connected to our family stories and what makes us special, like the love or secret tastes moms add when they cook. But robots might never learn to copy that “special touch”. Technology makes life easier, but balance is the key. While AI kitchens offer convenience, food also connects us to family, culture, and creativity. As this technology grows, we must protect the human warmth that makes meals meaningful. 1.According to Paragraph 1, what can AI-powered kitchen robots do? A.Only cook programmed meals. B.Help in restaurants but not at home. C.Check ingredients and suggest meals. D.Replace all human cooks completely. 2.What does “This” refer to in Paragraph 2? A.AI kitchen’s automation. B.Preparing food early. C.Making allergy-safe meals. D.Creating new recipes. 3.The word “bond” in Paragraph 3 most likely means: ________ A.Build close connections B.Talk about recipes C.Join food competitions D.Teach robot technology 4.What’s the correct structure of the text? A. Para. ①② Introduce the topic Para. ③④ show advantages & disadvantages Para. ⑤ Call for balance B. Para. ① Introduce the topic Para. ②③ show advantages & disadvantages Para. ④⑤ Call for balance C. Para. ① Introduce the topic Para. ②③④ show advantages & disadvantages Para. ⑤ Call for balance D. Para. ①② Introduce the topic Para. ③ show advantages & disadvantages Para. ④⑤ Call for balance A.A B.B C.C D.D 【答案】1.C 2.B 3.A 4.C 【导语】本文是一篇说明文,主要介绍了AI智能厨房的功能、优势以及引发的担忧,最后强调科技与生活平衡的重要性。 1.细节理解题。根据第1段“These ‘smart kitchens’ can check what ingredients you have and suggest meal ideas.”,文中明确提到智能厨房可以核查用户拥有的食材并推荐餐食方案。 2.词句猜测题。根据第2段“They save time by preparing everything for you before cooking. This gives people more time for school, hobbies, or relaxing.”,可知AI厨房可以在烹饪前为你准备好一切事务,这一提前备餐的行为让人们拥有更多时间分配给学业、爱好或是放松,句中的“This”指代的是提前备餐。 3.词句猜测题。根据第3段划线词所在句的上下文“Cooking isn’t just about food—it’s about the relationship between family members. Families often bond while cooking together, sharing stories, or teaching kids old recipes.”,做饭过程中家人分享故事、教孩子传统菜谱的行为,本质是在拉近彼此的距离、建立亲密的联结,因此“bond”的含义是构建紧密的关联。 4.篇章结构题。梳理全文段落逻辑:第一段引入AI智能厨房这一核心话题;第二段阐述智能厨房的优势,第三、四段分别从家庭互动缺失、文化流失两个维度说明其存在的隐患,共同构成优缺点论述部分;第五段总结点明要把握技术便利与人文温度的平衡,对应选项C的结构划分。 ①Can you tell the difference between real human faces and AI-created ones? If you are given 10 face photos, half real and half AI-made, can you tell which five are real? Do you think it is actually an easy task? According to a new study by UNSW Sydney and the Australian National University, most people think they are better at telling AI-created faces than they really are. The problem is that AI has become so realistic (逼真的). ②The researchers tested 125 people, including 36 “super-recognizers” — people who are very good at remembering faces. All were asked to tell whether a face was real or made by AI. The pictures did not have any clear errors (错误). The average (平均的) score of normal people was only 51%, which is only a little better than random (随机的) guessing. Super-recognizers scored 57%, a little better. Why does this happen? ③A key reason is that people depend on their experience too much. From the scores above, it was clear that people were just sure that they could tell real faces from AI-made ones. Why are people so overconfident? In the past, AI-made faces were easy to tell because of clear errors, like backgrounds that mixed into the hair. But today’s AI has fixed such problems. Those clear errors have become far less common, making faces more real. ④Another reason is that AI technology is improving so fast that it’s getting harder to tell. “You might tell an AI face if you notice that it’s ‘unusually balanced’ or ‘too perfect’,” explained Amy Dawel from the research team. “It’s almost as if they’re too good to be true as faces,” she says. However, AI is now making faces that are more natural and less perfect. So even this method is becoming not as useful as before because AI is getting better. ⑤These findings matter in real life. We can no longer depend on our eyes alone. “For a long time, we’ve believed the people in the photos we saw were real,” says Dr Dunn, “That belief is now being questioned.” The team now wants to study people who are very good at recognizing AI faces and find out what their secret is. 1.How does the writer introduce the topic in Paragraph 1? A.By giving an example. B.By asking questions. C.By listing some numbers D.By sharing a personal story. 2.Why are people so overconfident about telling real faces from AI-created ones according to Paragraphs 3 and 4? A.Because AI-made faces are still too perfect and balanced to be true for them. B.Because they depend on past experience while AI has fixed errors to be natural. C.Because AI-made faces still have clear errors like mixed and unclear backgrounds. D.Because they believe they have the same recognizing ability as “super-recognizers” 3.Which of the following shows the structure of the passage? A.B. C. D. 4.What is the best title of the passage? A.Why We Trust Our Eyes Too Much B.“Super-Recognizers” Beat AI C.The Improvement of AI Technology D.AI Faces or Real Human Faces 【答案】1.B 2.B 3.A 4.D 【导语】本文是说明文,围绕“人类分辨真人脸与AI生成人脸的能力”展开,介绍了悉尼新南威尔士大学与澳大利亚国立大学的相关研究结果,分析了人们高估自身分辨能力的两点原因,最后说明了该研究的现实意义与后续研究方向。 1.推理判断题。根据文章第1段“Can you tell the difference between real human faces and AI-created ones? Those clear errors have become far less common, making faces more real.”和第4段“AI is now making faces that are more natural and less perfect”可知,人们对分辨人脸过度自信,是因为依赖过往的判断经验,而如今AI已经修正了以往的明显错误,生成的人脸更逼真自然,旧经验已经不再适用。 3.篇章结构题。根据文章第2段“Why does this happen?”,第3段“A key reason is that people depend on their experience too much.”,第4段“Another reason is that AI technology is improving so fast that it’s getting harder to tell.”,第5段“These findings matter in real life.”可推知全文脉络:第1段用提问引入话题,点明人们高估自身分辨AI人脸能力的核心现象;第2段介绍研究的过程与结果,同时引出原因分析的问题,起承上启下作用;第3、4段从两个并列的角度解释原因;第5段说明研究的现实意义与后续计划。该结构与选项A的图示一致。 4.最佳标题题。根据文章第1段“Can you tell the difference between real human faces and AI-created ones?”可知,全文围绕“分辨AI生成人脸与真人脸”这一核心话题展开,介绍了分辨难度、人们高估自身能力的原因及相关研究的意义,“AI Faces or Real Human Faces”最能概括全文核心内容,适合作为标题。 ①Recently, I asked a friend who had just walked in the woods what she had noticed. “Nothing special,” she replied. ②How was it possible, I asked myself, to walk through the woods and see nothing worthy of note? I who cannot see find hundreds of things to interest me only through touch. If I can get so much pleasure from touch, how much more beauty must be found by sight (视力)? And I have imagined what I should most like to see if I were given the use of my eyes for just three days. ③On the first day, I should want to see the people who have made my life worth living and the books which have been read to me. In the afternoon, I should take a walk in the woods and admire the beauties of nature. That night, I should not be able to sleep. ④On my second day, I should go to the museums to see man’s progress. I should try to explore the spirit of man through his art. In the evening, I should spend time on the movies. ⑤The following day, I should spend in the world of common people going about the business of life. At midnight, permanent darkness would close in on me again, and I should realize how much I had left unseen. ⑥I who am blind can give one suggestion to those who see: Use your eyes as if tomorrow you would be blind. The same is true of other senses. Hear the songs of birds, as if you would be deaf tomorrow. Smell the flowers, as if tomorrow you could never smell again… But of all the senses, I’m sure that sight must be the most pleasant. The main reason why people visit libraries is changing with the times. Shi Yunxuan, 33, who has worked at a library in Shenzhen for two years, said, “In the past, people went to a library mainly to borrow books and get information. Now, libraries have gotten popular among a growing number of young people who want to improve themselves.” In recent years, a lot of improvements have been made to libraries nationwide (全国的), and they are now well-equipped. For example, they provide air conditioners (空调), modern desks and high-quality lighting. Shi said, “Libraries are now more comfortable and the new reading areas offer more seats. With a more comfortable environment, users believe that they can learn more in the library at the same time.” That is to say, studying in the library is a good way to learn. By the end of 2024, China had 3,248 public libraries, which recorded 107 million readers. Tang Zixuan, 20, a student at Peking University, said the library was the only place where she could put her mind and heart fully in her studies. Tang said, “I’m afraid of falling behind, which puts me under heavy pressure. I cannot truly enjoy my spare time because I need to do things all the time. So how can I find time to relax?” She believes that the library is the only place where she can find peace while improving her studies. 1.What does Paragraph 2 tell us? A report from China Youth Daily explains that there are two main types of self⁃driving systems today: those that use cameras and those that use LiDAR (激光雷达). Each system has its own problems. For example, Tesla’s system uses cameras and deep learning, without high⁃precision (高精度的) maps. It works well in clear weather but has trouble in bad conditions like heavy rain or fog. Other companies, like Xiaopeng Motors, use LiDAR technology, but it is expensive, making it hard to use widely. Another problem is keeping the cars safe from hackers (黑客). Hackers can break into the car’s system and take control of it using the internet. This could cause accidents or lead to the hackers asking for money. Self⁃driving cars can have problems when something unexpected happens. For example, if a traffic light stops working, the car might not know what to do because it is only trained to follow the light. Also, if a child runs into the street, the car needs to react fast, but sometimes its sensors (感应器) might not see the child in time. Besides these technical problems, the infrastructure for autonomous driving is still in the early stages of exploration, said the BBC. Many cities don’t have a clear plan for their traffic systems. Self⁃driving cars need to share data quickly and have powerful computers. Making cars and roads work together needs a lot of teamwork. But right now, many cities don’t have the technology to send data fast enough. “Even though self⁃driving cars perform as well as or even better than humans in some situations, it will still take time before they can be widely used, ” said Zhang Yongwei, an electric vehicle expert. 1.Why isn’t LiDAR technology widely used? A.It is not safe enough. B.It needs high⁃precision maps. C.It is very expensive. D.It is still under development. 2.What does Paragraph 3 say about self⁃driving cars? A.They don’t break down often. B.They can protect themselves from hackers. C.They can be hacked and controlled. D.They can deal with accidents by themselves. 3.Why is the current infrastructure a problem for using self⁃driving cars? A.Not all roads in the cities have traffic lights. B.Data is not shared quickly enough to meet needs. C.There are not enough computers to process data. D.Self⁃driving cars can only run on straight roads. 4.How does Zhang Yongwei see the future of self⁃driving cars? A.They will never perform as well as human drivers. B.They will soon replace all human⁃driven cars. C.They will cause many serious social problems. D.They will require more time for development. 【答案】1.C 2.C 3.B 4.D 【导语】本文主要介绍了自动驾驶技术目前面临的技术、安全及基础设施挑战,并引用专家观点指出其广泛应用仍需时间。 1.细节理解题。根据文章第2段“Other companies, like Xiaopeng Motors, use LiDAR technology, but it is expensive, making it hard to use widely.”可知,激光雷达技术因成本高昂而难以普及。 2.细节理解题。根据文章第3段“Hackers can break into the car’s system and take control of it using the internet.”可知,自动驾驶汽车存在被黑客入侵控制的风险。 3.细节理解题。根据文章第5段“But right now, many cities don't have the technology to send data fast enough.”可知,当前基础设施的问题在于数据传输速度不足。 4.细节理解题。根据文章第6段“it will still take time before they can be widely used”可知,专家认为自动驾驶汽车广泛使用还需要更多时间。 ①Chemistry is usually thought to be more difficult than other subjects, especially for beginners. There are some reasons for this idea. For one thing, chemistry has a specialized (专用的) vocabulary. At first, studying chemistry is like learning a new language. Also, some concepts (概念) of chemistry are hard to understand. However, with hard work and careful study, you can finish this subject successfully—and even enjoy it. Here are some suggestions to help you develop good study habits and better understand the topics in the book. ②Firstly, have classes on time. Listen to your teacher and take careful notes in class. If possible, always review the topics you learn in class, and review your notes on the same day. ③Secondly, think carefully about whether you really understand the meaning of a formula (分子式) or the use of an equation (方程式). A good way to test your understanding is to explain a concept to a classmate or someone else. ④Thirdly, pay attention to the things which have something to do with chemistry in life. Watch or do experiments in class carefully. Observing (观察) real-life examples makes abstract (抽象的) ideas clearer. ⑤Fourthly, question often and do not be afraid to ask your teacher or classmates for help. Clearing up small confusions (困惑) early prevents bigger problems later. ⑥Chemistry is much more than numbers, formulas and equations. It’s often used in daily life just like maths and physics. Once you fall in love with it, you’ll have lots of fun. Chemistry helps you understand the world around you, from cooking to household safety. 1.Which of the following is a good way to test our understanding of the formula “H2CO3” according to the passage? Brian Linden, an American, wears many hats: a writer, a businessman, a traveller, an educator, and the founder of a famous hotel. Being compared to great people like Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking is not something that happens to a common person. A.Balance. B.Correct. C.Forget. D.Speed. Happy birthday to the Qinghai-Xizang Railway! ④⑤ Call for balance A.A B.B C.C D.D ①Can you tell the difference between real human faces and AI-created ones? A.Why We Trust Our Eyes Too Much B.“Super-Recognizers” Beat AI C.The Improvement of AI Technology D.AI Faces or Real Human Faces ①Recently, I asked a friend who had just walked in the woods what she had noticed. (—Adapted from《Three Days to See》by Helen Keller) 1.What does the writer want to do during the three days? A.Read books to people on the first day. B.Go to the movies on the second day. A.Time is what we want most, but what we use worst. B.Never leave until tomorrow what you can do today. C.Live every moment and be thankful for what you have. D.The future belongs to those who are preparing for it now. Libraries in China have changed their role from traditional storage rooms of books to offering users space for quiet thinking and self-improvement. A.People visit libraries for more reasons. B.You can get more information in libraries now. C.The conditions of libraries have improved a lot. D.Libraries are not places to borrow books anymore. 2.The writer gives those numbers at the beginning of Paragraph 4 to ________. A.show the great history of China B.tell the importance of reading books C.show libraries in China are popular D.advise more students to study in libraries 3.Why is Tang Zixuan under heavy pressure? A.Because her grades are not good. B.Because she is afraid of falling behind. C.Because she has a lot of homework to do. D.Because she always has things to do in her spare time. 4.What is the best title for this passage? A.The Libraries in Universities B.More Chinese People Like Reading C.The Modern Chinese Public Libraries D.The Changing Function of Chinese Libraries Autonomous driving (自动驾驶) is becoming an important part of future transportation, but it still faces many challenges in technology and infrastructure (基础建设). ①Chemistry is usually thought to be more difficult than other subjects, especially for beginners. A.To write it on the blackboard. B.To read it aloud in class. C.To explain it to someone else. D.To ask others the meaning of it. 2.According to the text, which of the following is TRUE? A.Chemistry is used more often than physics. B.Some concepts of chemistry are hard to understand. C.Studying chemistry is like learning our mother language. D.Chemistry is usually thought to be as difficult as other subjects. 3.What is the text mainly about? A.Differences between chemistry and physics. B.The importance of chemistry and physics. C.Why chemistry is hard for beginners. D.How to study chemistry well. 4.What’s the structure of the text? A.B. C.
