【点拨1】段尾总结句——以 Passage 1 题 5 为例:原文末段以“Never giving up is not about being perfect.” 解题时抓住“Here are some ways to help you never give up.”
后文“many temples have been built on the mountain”中的 temples 与某选项“These works include stone sculptures…”
【点拨4】代词指代衔接——以 Passage 4 题 4 为例:Passage 4 讲负责任的旅游,空白 19 后文出现“This helps ensure that your travel money benefits the community”,其中 This 回指前句“在本地餐馆就餐、向手艺人直接购买纪念品”。
【点拨5】问答逻辑衔接——以 Passage 5 题 3 为例:Passage 5 谈自我认同,空白 23 后紧跟设问“If you’re having trouble seeing all the wonderful things about yourself…”。
已给各点均为“小标题 + 具体做法”的平行结构,空白 27 的“Wake up when the sun rises and rest when it sets”正对应段首小标题“让日常生活与太阳同步”,借助段落平行结构可快速定位。
【点拨7】衔接词递进——以 Passage 7 题 4 为例:Passage 7 聊中学生生涯规划,空白 34 前有“The world changes, and new jobs will appear.”,后有“Learning a language, trying coding…”
后文“but it’s important to manage it properly and reduce its influence”中的 it 指代前句“There are lots of things that cause stress in our lives”的 stress,空白 36 以“人都会经历压力,但管理好它很重要”引出全文,抓住 it 的指代即可确认其为篇章总起句。

Passage 2
Yandang Mountain is known as the “No. 1 Mountain in South-east China”. 1
It stands about 1,057 metres above sea level. Its name comes from a dried-up lake at the top. The lake is called Yanhu Lake, or Goose Lake. 2
The mountain was not widely known until the Song Dynasty because it was hard to hike across it. The famous Ming Dynasty explorer Xu Xiake once said, “Only the gods can see all the wonders of Yandang Mountain.”
Over the past hundreds of years, many temples have been built on the mountain. 3 These works include stone sculptures (雕塑), calligraphic tablets (碑) and paintings on the rocks.
4 One of the most famous is Ling Feng, or Spiritual Peaks. This area has many strange peaks and cliffs (峭壁). They look different from different sides. Take Hezhang Peak for example. The 270-metre-high peak can look like a pair of hands, a young lady in a qipao or two people in each other’s arms.
Another well-known sight is Sanzhepu, or Three-Terraced Falls. 5 They are some of the most special waterfalls on the mountain.
A.The temples are in different styles.
B.The falls are divided into three levels by rock cliffs.
C.The mountain is full of interesting natural sights.
D.In autumn, wild geese rest in the reeds around the lake.
E.And many famous artists have left works here.
F.The mountain is located in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province.
1.F 2.D 3.E 4.C 5.B
F项“The mountain is located in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province.”
D项“In autumn, wild geese rest in the reeds around the lake.”
E项“And many famous artists have left works here.”
C项“The mountain is full of interesting natural sights.”
B项“The falls are divided into three levels by rock cliffs.”
Passage 3
Have you ever wondered why some people seem to learn languages easily while others struggle? 1 In fact, research has shown that personality plays an important role in language learning.
Extroverts, who are outgoing and enjoy being around people, often have an advantage in learning to speak a new language. 2 They are not afraid to make mistakes when practising their speaking skills, which helps them improve faster.
Introverts, on the other hand, tend to be quieter and more reflective. 3 They often have better reading and writing skills because they spend more time studying alone and thinking deeply about grammar rules.
However, this does not mean that one personality type is better than the other for language learning. 4 The key is to understand your own personality and find learning methods that work best for you. For example, if you are an extrovert, you might enjoy joining language clubs or finding conversation partners. 5
Personality is just one piece of the puzzle. With the right attitude and enough practice, anyone can succeed in learning a new language — no matter what type of personality they have.
A.They may feel nervous about speaking in front of others, but they have their own strengths.
B.If you are an introvert, reading books or watching films in that language might suit you better.
C.The answer may have something to do with your personality.
D.They are usually happy to start conversations and practise speaking with others.
E.Both extroverts and introverts can become excellent language learners if they use the right strategies.
F.Learning a new language takes many years of hard work and cannot be done quickly.
1.C 2.D 3.A 4.E 5.B
空前以问句“why some people seem to learn languages easily while others struggle”引出话题,空后点明人格在语言学习中起着重要作用,选项C“The answer may have something to do with your personality.”
D“They are usually happy to start conversations and practise speaking with others.”
A“They may feel nervous about speaking in front of others, but they have their own strengths.”
E“Both extroverts and introverts can become excellent language learners if they use the right strategies.”
B“If you are an introvert, reading books or watching films in that language might suit you better.”

Passage 6
Do you feel stressed (焦虑的) quite often? How do you deal with your stress? See a doctor? Perhaps you don’t need to do that if you can get into nature. 1
◆Match your daily routine (日常生活) to the sun.
2 Wake up when the sun rises and rest when it sets. Besides, try to be bathed in sunshine on sunny mornings—sunlight gives you energy for the day! When the sun sets, take breaks from your work.
◆ 3
Find somewhere green to enjoy your time. You don’t need a big forest! Any green place is all right—a garden, a park or even a tree near you. Spend 5 to 20 minutes relaxing or eating there every day.
◆Try “grounding” or“earthing”.
“Grounding” or “earthing” means “going to touch grass”. There are healthy microbes (微生物) in the earth. 4 When you are at a picnic outdoors, take off your shoes and put your feet in the grass. (Be careful not to step on anything painful!)
◆Enjoy nature mindfully.
Nature gives people long-term happiness. 5 Walk into nature to watch the plants and wildlife. Or just close your eyes to feel the warmth of the sun on your skin. Breathe deeply and connect your mind with the beauty of nature.
A.Spend time in green places.
B.Go outdoors and keep working.
C.You can put away your phone and enjoy nature with all your mind.

Passage 7
As middle school students, we often imagine our future. Will we invent things, help others, or create art? Thinking about the future guides our present efforts.
Many students feel unsure about their future at first—and that’s normal. 1 For example, loving robot games might lead you to engineering, enjoying story-writing could point to a writing career. Trying new things connects hobbies to future roads.
2 Ask a veterinarian (兽医) how he helps animals, or interview a local artist. These conversations help you understand a job’s real work, not just its surface. Their stories show how to turn passion (热情) into work, and they may share tips for now.
Setting goals doesn’t mean big plans. 3 If you want to be a teacher, teach a younger student. If you like space, read one astronomy book a month. Small steps make dreams achievable.
The world changes, and new jobs will appear. 4 Learning a language, trying coding (编程), or joining debate club builds useful skills for any future job. Being open to learning prepares you for opportunities.
It’s okay if your future ideas change—you might love medicine one year, then environmental science the next. 5 What matters is exploring (探索), asking questions, and doing your best today to build an exciting future.
A.Talking to people in different jobs also helps.
B.Stay curious and keep trying new things, even without a clear plan yet.
C.Start with small daily goals that match your interests.
D.The only way to find what you love is to try different things——join a club, take a new class.

A项“Talking to people in different jobs also helps.”
C项“Start with small daily goals that match your interests.”
E项“You don’t need to know your future job, just focus on skills useful for many jobs.”
B项“Stay curious and keep trying new things, even without a clear plan yet.”
Passage 8
There are lots of things that cause stress in our lives, such as school problems, arguments with friends and sometimes bad feelings about ourselves. We all experience stress at times, but it’s important to manage it properly and reduce its influence. 1
Sometimes we feel stressed without understanding the reason. So whenever you are stressed, you should stop and think. 2 How can you improve the situation? Try keeping a diary about your problems and the possible causes.
Do you always wait until Sunday evening to do your homework? This bad habit can cause “last-minute” stress, as well as poor grades. To avoid that, time management is greatly needed. Plan your studies and other activities with a calendar. 3 In this way, you’ll always know how much time you really have.
Besides, healthy habits are very important for reducing stress. Be sure to eat healthy meals and get at least eight hours of sleep. Avoid checking your mobile phone or using the computer before bedtime. It will keep you awake!
When you’re feeling stressed, it’s helpful to speak to someone who understands your situation, such as a friend or family member. Sometimes it’s enough to talk about your problems and share your feelings. Other times, however, you might need advice or suggestions. 4
5 Find some free time for activities that you enjoy, such as sports, hobbies and meeting friends. For example, seeing a film or hanging out after 5 days’ study could be a good choice. If you find some time to relax and enjoy yourself, you’ll feel refreshed, have more energy, and reduce your level of stress.
A.Finally, relaxation is important.
B.Here are helpful tips for dealing with stress.
C.What is really happening?
D.Stress can cause you to sleep poorly.
E.You can also divide big projects into smaller tasks.
F.Don’t keep your worries to yourself.
1.B 2.C 3.E 4.F 5.A
根据空前“We all experience stress at times, but it’s important to manage it properly and reduce its influence.” B“Here are helpful tips for dealing with stress.”
2.根据空前的“So whenever you are stressed, you should stop and think.”以及空后的另一个疑问句“How can you improve the situation?” C“What is really happening?”
3.根据本段关于时间管理的主题“To avoid that, time management is greatly needed. Plan your studies and other activities with a calendar.”以及空后的“In this way, you’ll always know how much time you really have.” E“You can also divide big projects into smaller tasks.”
4.根据本段主题句“When you’re feeling stressed, it’s helpful to speak to someone who understands your situation…”以及“talk about your problems and share your feelings”可知,本段旨在建议人们主动向亲友沟通倾诉、寻求帮助。选项F“Don’t keep your worries to yourself.”
5.根据空后“Find some free time for activities that you enjoy…If you find some time to relax and enjoy yourself...” A“Finally, relaxation is important.”

姓名:___________班级:___________座号:___________

Passage 4

Responsible tourism is increasingly important as more people travel the world. It’s about travelling in a way that respects the local culture, environment, and economy of the places you visit. 1
First, do your research. Learn about the customs, traditions, and etiquette of your destination. Understanding local norms, like dress codes or greetings, shows respect and helps avoid misunderstandings. 2
Second, protect the environment. Travel lightly and minimize waste. Avoid single-use plastics and dispose of trash properly. When visiting natural sites, stick to marked trails and do not disturb wildlife or remove plants. 3
Third, support the local economy. Eat at local restaurants and buy souvenirs directly from local artisans. This helps ensure that your travel money benefits the community you are visiting, rather than large international corporations. 4
Fourth, be a mindful visitor. Be patient and polite, even if things are different from what you expect. Engage with locals respectfully and be open to learning about their way of life. 5 Try to leave the place as you found it, or even better. By following these tips, you can have a more meaningful travel experience while contributing positively to the destinations you explore.

B.Buying items made in factories is often cheaper.

3 If you’re having trouble seeing all the wonderful things about yourself, you can always talk to someone who loves you. Sometimes we have difficulty seeing the best things about ourselves, but the people who love us will never struggle to see those things.
Set achievable goals Make sure that you develop goals that are in line with your skills and that are achievable. Remember! 4 . If a goal seems too difficult, try breaking it into a series of smaller goals and focus on one at a time.

D.Live like a young plant following the sun.
E.Here are some simple ways from our experts.
F.These microbes are helpful in making your stress less.
E.You don’t need to know your future job, just focus on skills useful for many jobs.
F.Pick one job and stick to it, even if you lose interest later.
