(2)动词及动词短语辨析(重点):如 come up with、deal with、let him down、encouraged 等,考查动作语义与搭配。
(4)介词及固定搭配:at that moment、next to、as a symbol 等,考查“介词 + 名词/代词”结构。
(5)连词与从句引导词:并列连词 and / but / or / so;从属连词 because / if / however 等,考查因果、转折、条件逻辑。
【点拨1】形容词辨析——以Passage 1 题 1 为例:原文后文明确写道 “The second kiss reminded her to be kind”,而设空 “Be 1 .”
【点拨2】介词固定搭配——以Passage 1 题 5 为例:原文 “that moment, she remembered her mom’s first” 位于设空 “ 5 that moment” 之后,考查时间介词。固定搭配 at that moment(在那一刻)与后文一般过去时 remembered 吻合,故选 C(At)。提示:in / on / at 表时间点各有分工,at 专指“某一时刻”。
【点拨3】连词表因果——以Passage 1 题 8 为例:原文 “she walked over, shared her cookies” 紧接设空后,前文 “The second kiss reminded her to be kind” 与后文“走过去分享饼干”构成因果关系,用 so 表结果,选 C。提示:区分 but(转折)、since(原因状语从句),看前后是“因→果”还是“果→因”。
【点拨4】名词辨析(语境复现)——以Passage 2 题 3 为例:原文后文写道 “He had got out of the plane”,而设空 “I had to go to the 3 at 9:00 a.m. to pick up my uncle” 选项 airport / school / hospital / station 一时难辨;叔叔是乘飞机到达,地点只能是 airport,选 A。
【点拨5】动词短语辨析——以Passage 4 题 1 为例:设空后接 “creative new ideas in group work”,考查动词短语。 提示:look after(照顾)、give up(放弃)、point out(指出)均不合“产生新想法”的语境。
【点拨6】连词与宾语从句——以Passage 4 题 8 为例:前文 “a balance between his study and music” 写 Li Hua 难以在学习和音乐间平衡,设空 “He kept wondering 8 he should give up his favourite hobby” 中 if 引导宾语从句,意为“是否”,选 A。
【点拨8】动词短语(应对困难)——以Passage 8 题 11 为例:原文 “The biggest challenge is not the problem itself” 后接 “learning to 11 it bravely”,it 指代前文的 problem / challenge,deal with 意为“应对、处理”,与 challenge 搭配且呼应 brave,选 A。提示:give up(放弃)与 bravely 语义矛盾,put up / take off 均不搭配。

Passage 6
“Class, this is Kevin.” Mrs. Green announced, trying to sound 1 to catch our attention. We saw a boy in out-of-date clothes and shoes. Kevin looked around and smiled, 2 somebody to smile back. But nobody did.
I held my breath, hoping Mrs. Green wouldn’t notice the 3 desk next to mine. But she did, and 4 him in that direction. He looked over at me as he sat down, but I didn’t, I thought I 5 . He sat there silently.
By the end of his first week, Kevin was at the 6 of our school’s social ladder (梯子). “It’s his own mistake,” I told my mother one evening at dinner. “He 7 doesn’t even know how to count.” 8 this was true, I ate lunch with him the next day and listened to him carefully. I realized that Kevin was in fact pleasant to be around.
One night, I said, “Mom, tomorrow is Kevin’s birthday, and he’s not going to get anything Nobody 9 ” “Don’t worry,” Mom said as she kissed me good night. “I’m sure his birthday will be a real 10 .”
I wished Kevin a happy birthday first thing in the morning. He was glad I had remembered. By mid-afternoon, I’d almost decided birthdays weren’t that important. Then, as Mrs. Green wrote on the blackboard, I heard a familiar 11 singing the birthday song. Moments later, Mom came in with a plate of cupcakes, a present and a red ribbon (丝带). She 12 the red ribbon on Kevin’s desk, and he looked very excited.
My friend kindly shared his cupcakes with the class, carrying the plate from desk to desk, and everyone’s 13 of him began to change. I caught Mom watching me, and I was deeply 14 by what she had done—she smiled and winked (眨眼). At that moment, I understood: a little 15 can turn a lonely new kid into a friend, and a lonely day into one we’d all remember.

1.B 2.C 3.A 4.B 5.D 6.C 7.B 8.B 9.D 10.A 11.A 12.C 13.A 14.B 15.D
cheered him up“让他振作起来”、calmed him down“让他平静下来”、drove him mad“把他逼疯”,都不符合“我没有回应目光”带来的结果。
妈妈带来的装饰用红丝带是用来布置凯文的生日位置的,stuck(stick的过去式,此处表示“粘贴、放置”)符合给桌面布置生日装饰的动作逻辑。

根据“His parents thought he spent too much time on it”可知,父母担心篮球会对学业产生负面影响。 praise(表扬)、support(支持)、admire(羡慕)均为正面词汇,不符合这种担忧。
根据“Li Hua felt upset and didn’t know what to do”可知他感到沮丧,说明冲突频繁发生。 seldom(很少)、never(从不)、hardly(几乎不)均表示频率低,与“argued”所体现的矛盾程度不符。
根据后文“made him more energetic”可知,篮球让李华更有活力。 sadness(悲伤)、stress(压力)、doubt(怀疑)均为负面或消极词汇,不符合篮球带给他的积极感受。
locked(锁住)、left(留下)、stayed(停留)均不如hidden贴切。
speech(演讲)、decision(决定)、secret(秘密)均与后文“plan”不一致。
accepted(接受)、promised(承诺)、explained(解释)均不符合“起初持怀疑态度”的语境。
rest(休息)、break(休息)、sleep(睡觉)均无此搭配。
gave out(分发)、gave away(赠送)、gave in(屈服)均不符合。
relaxed(放松的)、excited(兴奋的)、surprised(惊讶的)放入“less”后语意不通顺。
simple(简单的)、silent(沉默的)、private(私人的)均不符合。
put up(张贴)、give up(放弃)、take off(起飞)均不符合。
根据“learn to deal with difficulties properly”可知,正确处理困难会让成长之路更顺利。 harder(更难的)、worse(更糟的)、slower(更慢的)均为负面结果。
won(赢)、beat(打败)、missed(错过)均不符合“犯错”的语境。
chance意为“机会”,与“for us to grow”搭配自然。choice(选择)、journey(旅程)、mistake(错误)均不符合。
power(力量)、value(价值)、success(成功)虽相关,但不如courage直接。
