Unit 5 SectionA (3a~3d) 教学设计

一、教材分析

本课为人教新目标版英语九年级上册 Unit 5 "Power of Ideas" 的 Section A (3a~3d)，是一节阅读与口语综合课。学生在 Section A 1a~2d 中已学习被动语态的基本用法和发明相关词汇，本课通过阅读 Fu Xing 和 Peter 关于收音机发明的对话，进一步巩固被动语态在语篇中的运用，学习描述一项重要发明的核心句型（What do you think is the most useful invention of all time? Who was the inventor? ... made it much easier for sb. to do sth.），并通过 3d 思维导图活动引导学生选择另一项发明进行口语输出。

二、学情分析

九年级学生已经具备较强的阅读理解能力和被动语态基础。他们对发明话题有持续的兴趣，但用英语准确描述发明的历史和影响仍存在挑战，特别是被动语态的连贯使用、重读规则在口语中的运用，以及 make it + adj. + for sb. to do 等复杂句型的掌握。课件中丰富的语言点（如 create/discover/invent 辨析、because of 与 because 区别、as well/also/too/either 辨析等）需要教师系统讲解和对比分析。

三、核心素养目标

1. 语言能力：学生能够掌握核心词汇 invent 及其派生词（invention, inventor, inventive）；能够运用被动语态描述发明的历程和影响；能够用目标句型讨论一项重要发明；能够理解并运用重读规则进行对话朗读。

2. 文化意识：了解收音机、手机等重要发明的历史，认识发明对人类社会的推动作用，培养创新意识。

3. 思维品质：通过对比不同发明的优缺点，培养批判性思维；通过 3d 思维导图活动，培养逻辑归纳和创造性思维。

四、教学重难点

教学重点：

1. 掌握核心词汇和短语：invent, of all time, in seconds, for the first time, spread, Italian, develop the idea, quite a distance, because of, as well, have a big effect on, make it + adj. + for sb. to do sth.

2. 运用被动语态描述发明的历程和影响。

3. 用目标句型描述一项重要发明。

教学难点：

1. invent/create/discover 的辨析。

2. 被动语态中过去分词的运用（如 was made, could be spread, was developed）。

3. make it + adj. + for sb. to do sth. 句型的运用。

4. 朗读中的重读规则。

五、教学方法

任务型教学法（TBLT）、阅读教学法（PWP）、情境教学法、合作学习法。

六、教学过程

Step 1 导入与 Free Talk（5分钟）

1. 教师展示 Lead in 部分的发明表格，引导学生认识五项重要发明：Johannes Gutenberg — Printing Press（1440）、Leon Battista Alberti — Anemometer（1450）、Peter Henlein — Watch（Unknown）、Galileo — Telescope（1606）、Blaise Pascal — Calculator（1642）。

2. 教师提问：What do you think is the greatest invention? 引导学生自由发言。

3. 引入本课话题：Fu Xing and Peter are talking about the most useful inventions.

Step 2 阅读前 3a（2分钟）

1. 教师呈现 3a 问题：What does Peter think is the most useful invention of all time?

2. 学生快速浏览对话，找出答案。

3. 教师核对：Peter thinks that radio is the most useful invention of all time.

Step 3 阅读中 3a 细读（8分钟）

1. 学生仔细阅读对话，完成 3b 图表的信息填空。

2. 教师引导学生提取关键信息：

Invention: the radio

Who was the inventor: Guglielmo Marconi (An Italian inventor)

When was it invented: In 1901 (He developed the idea in the 1890s)

How did it change the world:

(1) The world was made much smaller by the radio.

(2) News could be spread around the world in seconds.

(3) Some other important inventions were developed as well (like the television).
