本课任务  为教室的新阅读角写清楚布置说明，让另一组按说明摆放物品。

学习重点  在语境中选择there is / are、Is / Are there…?和Where is / are…?；准确使用方位介词。
探究难点  区分“有某物”与“某物在哪里”；根据参照物检验描述，不只看句子形式。

一 同一个地方  两种提问  5分钟

新同学第一次进教室说：“Is there a reading corner?”看见阅读角后，他又问：“Where are the bookcases?”两次分别想知道什么？如果都用“There are two bookcases.”回答，会有什么信息缺口？

二 从教材例句中找出选择依据  9分钟

读第39页3a。给“确认有没有”的句子做记号，再找“已知物品问位置”的句子。对照下面资料，圈出决定is / are的名词部分。

用自己的话补充规则：先判断想问“有无”还是“位置”，再看____________。
读Are there any lockers?及No, there aren’t.：回答中的there能直接换成they吗？说说理由。

三 用反例检查规则  6分钟

同伴写了两句布置说明：
① There has a reading corner in our classroom.
② There are two bookcases. It is next to the window.
先解释读者会在哪儿卡住，再修改。第二句要说明two bookcases的位置。

四 换一个参照物  说法会怎样变  8分钟

三张纸卡按从左到右排成library—student centre—gym。保持位置不动，让不同物品作句子的开头：先说student centre，再说library。

The student centre ____________________________________________.
The library ___________________________________________________.

在桌上用一本书代表blackboard，用橡皮代表teacher’s desk。把橡皮放在书前方，再挪到书旁边。每次用一句话描述；同伴指出句中的参照物。

区别提示  next to表示紧邻；across from表示在对面；between … and …需要说清两个参照物。判断in front of / behind时，先约定所说物体的正面。

回看教材3c照片：先找到screen、whiteboard、bookcases、window，再选择介词。若看不清，说明需要放大哪一处，不靠“哪句读起来顺”猜。

五 口头布置  让同伴摆对  8分钟

两人一组，A读下面资料并用纸遮住，B在空白处画图。先由B问“有什么”，再问至少两个位置。A回答时可拆成短句。最后揭开资料核验。

A的阅读角方案
There is a window on the back wall. There are two bookcases next to the window. There is a small table in front of the window. There are two chairs next to the table. There aren’t any lockers in this corner.

B可用的提问  Is there …? / Are there any …? / Where is …? / Where are …?
