Ugochin is a foreign student studying in China. She took part in the show A Foreign Apprentice Comes to the Mountains in Yunhe, Zhejiang Province, to know more about Chinese country life. She fully experienced it in the show.
In front of the camera, she worked together with local villagers to dig potatoes, make tofu, catch fish and cook tasty meals. Away from the camera, she was interested in this peaceful country life. Such a life was shaped more by land, weather and old customs rather than busy work.
“China’s rural revitalization (乡村振兴) is really amazing.” Ugochin said. In Yunhe, she met local young villagers who had made a big difference. Instead of selling farm produce in the old way, they packed it differently to make it look cooler. They also used livestreaming to reach customers across the country. By trying these new methods, they brought fresh energy to their hometown.
Apart from new looks in the countryside, Yunhe’s respect for traditions also impressed (留下印象) Ugochin. “This experience tells me that while we push forward rural revitalization, we should also protect old buildings, carry forward history and keep traditional skills alive,” she shared.
When the filming ended, Ugochin was not ready to leave the experience behind. She planned to go back to Yunhe and spend more time enjoying the priceless gifts of the countryside. She said from the bottom of her heart, “Clear water and green mountains are as valuable as mountains of gold and silver. A good environment means a better future.”
21. What does the underlined word “it” refer to in paragraph 1?

【23题详解】
推理判断题。根据文章第4段“while we push forward rural revitalization, we should also protect old buildings, carry forward history and keep traditional skills alive.” 可知,Ugochin认为推进乡村振兴的同时也要保护传统、传承技艺,即发展与传统需要并行。

Many students in Guangdong find learning English difficult, but they often overlook a special skill they already have: being bilingual (双语) in Cantonese and Putonghua.
Zhang Tingting, a 14-year-old girl from Guangzhou, is a perfect example. “I’ve spoken Cantonese at home ever since I was little, but I use Putonghua at school,” she explained. “We are now encouraged to use Putonghua in classrooms, and it’s natural for students to speak Putonghua even during class breaks.”
This is common for many local students. However, with more students from other parts of China moving to Guangzhou, the use of Cantonese is falling. A report shows that now only about 40 percent of students in Guangzhou can fully understand their local dialect (方言). As a result, Putonghua is often heard even during school breaks.
This situation has raised concerns. Many people are worried that the local culture is dying as the dialect is no longer popular. “The most vivid words and expressions are born of dialects,” noted a language expert. Zhang Tingting fully agrees with his idea. She sometimes finds it strange and difficult to express certain Cantonese phrases in Putonghua, feeling that something of the local culture may be lost.
Fortunately, officials in Guangdong have found this problem. ▲ As we all know, some primary schools in Shanghai have asked students to speak the Shanghai dialect four days a month. Inspired by Shanghai, starting from this year, there are almost 30 Guangzhou kindergartens encouraging children to speak their local dialect during breaks.
Of course, spreading Cantonese doesn’t mean refusing Putonghua. Instead, it helps create a multicultural environment where local expressions make our communication richer and more lively.
25. What’s the main trend (趋势) of the Cantonese usage among students in Guangzhou?
A. B. C.
26. What does the underlined word “vivid” mean in English?
A. Common. B. Lively. C. Useful.
27. Which of the following can be put in “ ▲ ” in Paragraph 5?
A. They are still looking for a good solution.
B. Many students are unable to speak their local dialect now.
C. And they have taken action to save their dialects now.
28. Which can be the best title for this passage?
A. We Are Bilingual Talents. B. Dialects Are Popular. C. Save Dialects.
【答案】25. A 26. B 27. C 28. C
【解析】
【导语】本文是一篇说明文,主要介绍了广州地区学生群体中粤语的使用占比不断下降,引发了大众对本土方言及相关文化流失的担忧,随后广东相关部门参考上海的方言推广经验,采取行动鼓励幼儿园学生在课间使用粤语,在不排斥普通话的前提下保护本土方言文化。
【25题详解】
细节理解题。第三段“However, with more students from other parts of China moving to Guangzhou, the use of Cantonese is falling. A report shows that now only about 40 percent of students in Guangzhou can fully understand their local dialect.”,说明广州学生中能使用、完全理解粤语的人数占比随时间推移不断下降,对应呈下降趋势的第一幅折线图。
【26题详解】
词句猜测题。第四段“The most vivid words and expressions are born of dialects”以及最后一段“local expressions make our communication richer and more lively”,说明方言里的词汇能让表达更鲜活生动,因此vivid的含义和lively(生动的)一致。
【27题详解】
推理判断题。第五段“Fortunately, officials in Guangdong have found this problem...starting from this year, there are almost 30 Guangzhou kindergartens encouraging children to speak their local dialect during breaks.”,空格前点明广东官方发现了方言使用减少的问题,空格后列举了参考上海经验开展的方言推广举措,因此“And they have taken action to save their dialects now.”起到承上启下的作用,引出下文的具体措施,符合语境。
【28题详解】
最佳标题题。全文围绕广州粤语使用占比下降引发文化流失担忧,到官方出台举措保护本土方言的核心内容展开,“Save Dialects.”精准概括了文章的核心主题。

Through group discussions and the teacher’s help, the whole class understood it completely. Also, questioning teaches students to think critically (批判性地) — this skill is necessary for future success. But questioning needs respect and modesty (谦逊). We should question to learn, not to show off or challenge others. ____32____ Sometimes, the truth is not easy to find, and we may face difficulties. But with an open mind and continuous effort, we will get good results. ____33____ Be brave to question and find out the right answers. This will prepare us to become people who can one day do something good for the world.

【29题详解】
空前强调“质疑的勇气很重要”,空后解释“它意味着我们要独立思考”。C项“它不是盲目怀疑一切”与后文“意味着……”形成正反对比,准确界定了“质疑”的含义,衔接自然。
【30题详解】
本段列举了哥白尼和居里夫人的例子。E项中的“Their achievements”指代前文两位科学家的成就,且“influenced the whole world”总结了他们改变世界的影响,符合段意。
Do you ever feel like you are just rushing from one subject to another? When things happen so fast, maybe you can’t understand clearly what you are doing or learning, so it is important to stop yourself to think about what you have been doing or learning. Self-reflection (反省) means slowing down and calming yourself, including calming your mind. By calming down and going slowly, you give your brain a chance to think about what it has already received. Some people prefer to do self-reflection in their minds. Others keep a diary. What’s more, taking notes is also OK. Each method works, depending on your own personal learning. You can follow the steps to do self-reflection.
First, choose the proper time to do it. School textbooks are divided into units of study. This makes it easier to begin self-reflection. Look for time when you complete a unit of study. Sometimes you know the unit is over because there is some kind of test. Use these natural breaks to stop and do self-reflection.
Then, find a quiet place to keep reflection diaries. Write down some notes on the new things that you learned in the unit. Let your mind think about the notes you have written and make some connections.
Finally, think about things that you are not sure of. Maybe you learned a new way to work out a math problem, but you’re not sure when to use it. Writing down your questions will help you remember to look for answers the next time you are working with the same topic.

Small Change, Big Growth
Good morning, everyone! Today I want to share small changes in my life that led to big growth.
First, I changed my reading habit. I spent much time on phones instead of reading books in the past. Later, I realized it was bad for my eyes, so I started reading for half an hour every day. This helps me learn more. Second, I began to exercise regularly. I used to be lazy, but now I run every morning. It makes me stronger and more energetic.
These small changes not only improve my health but also make me more confident. I realize that even a small step can lead to a better future. Let’s take action now!

A. The filming activity. B. The country life. C. The learning method.
22. Which word can best describe local young villagers in Ugochin’s eyes?
A. Creative. B. Polite. C. Outgoing.
23. What can we infer from Ugochin’s words in paragraph 4?
A. Keeping traditions should be put in the first place.
B. Development and tradition should go hand in hand.
C. Traditional knowledge is more useful than new ideas.
24. What is the structure of the passage? (①=Paragraph 1)
A. B. C.
C

第三节(共5个小题;满分10分)
阅读下面短文,根据其内容填空和回答问题。(1-4小题每题答案不超过3个单词,5小题须用完整句子回答。)
