Eggs
Eggs are full of choline (胆碱), which helps your brain make necessary chemicals for memory. They also have B vitamins that are good for your brain.
Dark Chocolate

Fatty Fish
Fatty fish is an excellent source of omega-3 fats, which help brain cells (细胞) communicate better. Research shows that people who eat fatty fish regularly have a lower risk of memory problems.
Blueberries

Learning can be exciting when you follow your curiosity! “Curious students enjoy studying more, because they can find ways to make school subjects more enjoyable,” scientists say. Want to know the ways to get started?
What comes to my mind first is asking questions. Always ask “why” when learning something. If you study physics, wonder why light travels faster than sound. When learning Chinese, ask why Tang poems remain so popular in modern China. Asking questions is helpful. It makes learning more active and helps you understand better.
Try to connect your lessons to real life. That means finding out how school subjects are part of your life. Math helps when you are shopping. Geography can explain weather changes and the environment around us. When you find knowledge is practical, you’ll want to learn more.
Turn learning into games. This is, of course, my favorite way. They can help you to have good fun when learning. Make word cards to play memory games. Use apps or online tools to practice spelling and grammar. Learning by doing feels like play, not work.
Don’t forget to learn outside school. Join a community center to learn to play a new sport. Visit a museum to see what life was like in the past. Go to a park or a zoo to watch plants or animals carefully. Different ways of learning keep your brain excited.
Start with one way today, and you’ll find learning both helpful and enjoyable. Remember, every subject becomes interesting when you’re curious about it.
36.Why does the writer think asking questions is helpful?
37.What does “connect your lessons to real life” mean?
38.Which of the four ways does the writer like best?
39.How can we learn outside school?
40.Give one way to make school subjects more enjoyable.

1.A
give up放弃;give in屈服、让步;give away赠送;give out分发。
of…… 固定句型“It is+形容词+for sb. to do sth.” 应填for;to。
3.C
根据时间标志“over the past ten years”可知,句子要用现在完成时,主语The government是单数,助动词用has,bring的过去分词是brought。应填has brought about。
6.D
先行词the kind of person指人,定语从句中缺少主语,要用关系代词who来引导。
9.A
That’s not the case事实并非如此;Don’t lose heart别灰心;Don’t mention it不客气/别提了;I can’t agree more我完全同意。根据“It’s not easy to tell whether online information is true or not.”可知,对方并不赞同网上交友很棒,应填“That’s not the case”。
10.B
11.C 12.A 13.B 14.D 15.A 16.C 17.A 18.B 19.D 20.C

根据前文“Grandma didn’t seem to recognize her”可知,奶奶不认识自己,格蕾丝感到伤心,填sadly。

Changes Around Us
In the past few years, great changes have taken place around us.
In the past, people used to travel locally or rarely travel abroad. Now, they prefer to go abroad or travel online. It makes travel more diverse and convenient than before. Besides, students used to do more reading and group work. Now, they can study online and use digital tools, which helps them learn more efficiently. In terms of transportation, people walked or rode bikes in the past. Now, many families have cars and high-speed trains are very fast. It saves time and makes travel easier.
In my opinion, these changes have improved our lives a lot. We should cherish the convenient life and keep working hard to make our future better.
