Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun and the largest planet in the Solar System (太阳系). Unlike the Earth with only one moon, Jupiter has more.
If you travel to Jupiter, you will be very heavy. If you weigh 70 pounds (about 32 kg) on Earth, on Jupiter you will weigh 185 pounds (about 84 kg). This is because Jupiter is such a large planet that it has more gravity.
Jupiter is a very stormy planet. Scientists have found storms throughout the atmosphere (大气层) on Jupiter, and most of the storms never end. The different storms in the atmosphere also make Jupiter a very colourful planet. You can see Jupiter has many red spots in the photo. This red spot is called “the eye of Jupiter” because of its shape. Scientists think Jupiter is a gas giant (巨人) because it does not have a solid surface (固体表面). Under its atmosphere is a large liquid
ocean of water. What lies between the ocean and the atmosphere? In fact, there is nothing. The atmosphere slowly gets thicker and thicker until it becomes part of the ocean. In other words, the ocean has no surface on which you could float a boat. The sky becomes the ocean. It looks very beautiful and colourful.

D.About 264 pounds.
( )43.What can we know from Paragraph 3?
A.The colour of Jupiter is red.
B.There are many storms on Jupiter.
C.There are lands and water on Jupiter.
D.People call the spot “the eye of Jupiter” because of its colour.
( )44.What does the underlined word “it” in Paragraph 3 refer to?
A.Jupiter.
B.The atmosphere.

A.The planet Jupiter
B.A.trip to Jupiter
C.How to live on Jupiter
D.The differences between the Earth and Jupiter
C
For most people, taking a trip to space seems like something in a film. However, providing people with the chance to travel to space is becoming real.
An engineer Xavier Claramunt thought of an idea of a space hotel. To make Claramunt's dream come true, four companies have planned to open the first space hotel. The hotel will be able to house four guests (客人) and two astronauts for a threenight stay.
To prepare them for the conditions in space, guests will receive sixteen weeks of astronaut training on an island in the Caribbean Sea. Guests will take part in activities to prepare them for their space stay. When training is over, they will get on a Russian spaceship and go to the space hotel. The spaceship will take a day and a half to reach the hotel from the island.
The spaceship stops by the space hotel 280 miles above Earth and the guests will leave the spaceship and go inside the space hotel. Wearing special spacesuits, guests can tie themselves to the walls when they eat or sleep. Because watching the Earth from space will be the main reason most guests want to travel to the space hotel, they can open and close windows and watch when the hotel moves around the Earth 15 times a day.

My Trip to the Tiangong Space Station
I have dreamt of travelling to space for many years. Now I've got a chance to make my dream come true.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
First, I take a spaceship to the Tiangong Space Station. When I arrive, I feel light because there's no gravity—I even float in the air! The astronauts show me around the station. We do a small science experiment together: we mix two liquids and watch them form beautiful bubbles that don't fall down.

At mealtime, I eat special space food— it's in small bags, and I squeeze it into my mouth. In the evening, I look out of the window. The Earth looks like a blue and white ball, with white clouds floating around. It's the most amazing view I've ever seen!
This trip is unforgettable. I hope more people can visit the Tiangong Space Station one day.
