Unit 4 Space Exploration
阅读输入:Reading and Thinking 的 “Space: The Final Frontier” 梳理了人类探索太空的历程;Reading for Writing 提供了一篇就“太空探索是否浪费钱”展开论证的范文,正反观点交锋清晰。
(In my opinion… / I firmly believe that…)、列举与递进(First… Second… What's more…)、转折与让步(However… / Admittedly…, but…) (In short…

Should Students Use AI to Study?
Recently our school has debated whether students should use AI tools in study. In my opinion, AI is a helpful assistant, not a replacement for thinking.
AI can explain difficult problems step by step and offer practice at any time. However, if we copy its answers, we will never really learn. The tool is only as good as the way we use it.
So my suggestion is simple: try first, then ask AI. Let the machine help us think, not think for us.

Space Exploration Is Worth Every Penny
Some people say exploring space is a waste of money on Earth. I disagree.
First, space technology has already changed our lives: weather satellites warn us of storms, and GPS guides us home. Second, exploring space pushes science forward and creates jobs and new industries. Third, it reminds us that our planet is small and precious.
Giving up the stars would not feed the hungry; wiser spending would. Space exploration is an investment, not a waste.

Protect Our Blue Planet
Hello, everyone. Astronauts say that from space, the Earth looks like a blue ball hanging in darkness. There is no other home in sight.
Seeing that picture, I asked myself: why do we pollute the only home we have? Every plastic bag we throw away may end up in the sea. There is no “away” on a small planet.
So start small: save water, sort your rubbish, and use less plastic. Protecting the Earth is protecting ourselves. Thank you!

Dear Chris,
Thanks for your last letter. You asked about China's space programme, so let me share some exciting news.
Our space station is now fully built, and astronauts take turns living and doing research there. Last year, Chinese astronauts gave a live science lesson from space, and millions of students watched.
I dream of becoming an engineer in this field one day. Dreams, like rockets, need a strong push every day, so I am working hard at maths and physics now.
Yours,
Li Hua
