67.【答案】参考范文:
One Saturday morning,I heard nwy name called outside the dormitory. To my surprise,it
was June, her eyes tired from the long journey. She told me she had been worried when I stopped
answering her calls. After begging her parents for permission, she decided to visit me.Sitting
together on the bench, she explained gently,"You and Emily are both my friends, but you are
unique.I heard those words, and my sadness melted away. The fear that had been pressing on me
for weeks lifted, replaced by the warmth of knowing I still mattered to her.
The next afternoon,I saw June offat the train station. We stood there, not wanting to let go,
our eyes filled with both sadness and hope. The train whistle blew, pulling us apart, but inside I
felt steady.I knew distance would never break what we shared. There would be phone calls,
messages, and visits, each one keeping our ties alive.Walking back alone,I realized true
friendship is not measured by how often we are together, but by the certainty that we remain close,
even miles apart.

Four Seasonal Sports for Student Clubs
Our school sports club offers four seasonal sports this year. Each activity fits the weather of one season and helps students relax after heavy study. Beginners with no sports experience are all welcome.
Bubble Football (Spring)
It is played in soft plastic bubble suits covering players’ upper bodies. You can run and bump (碰撞) into teammates safely without getting hurt. This sport improves your courage and teamwork. It only opens from March to May on the school football field. The club prepares all bubble suits for free.
Kayak (皮艇) Rowing (Summer)
We practice rowing small kayaks on the quiet lake nearby in July and August. It builds arm strength and teaches students to keep balance on water. Students need to pass a simple swimming test before joining. The club provides life jackets free of charge, but you have to bring your own sun hats.
Indoor Epee Fencing (击剑) (Autumn)
A gentle competitive sport held in the indoor gym from September to October. Unlike most ball games, fencing focuses on quick thinking and self-control. Coaches teach basic attack and defense skills step by step. No swimming test or special outdoor clothes are required, but students need to prepare their own fencing clothes.
Snowshoe Hiking (Winter)
We walk across the snowy park with wide snowshoes in December and January. It lets you enjoy quiet winter views while exercising your legs. But there is no free equipment supply. Students must rent snowshoes at low prices before each lesson.

Frightened, I was walking into my first school in America. I had traveled a long distance from India in order to join my parents, who had been here for three years, hoping America would help my future. My father decided that I would have a better education here, so I enrolled (登记) in the local high school in my new town.
I was afraid of how I would do. On the first day, I went to my second class after I had missed my first. With anxiety, I reached for the door, opening it slowly. Without paying attention to my classmates, I went straight to the teacher and asked if this was the right class. With a soft voice he answered, “Yes.” His voice comforted me a little. He gave me a sheet called Course Requirements, which I would never get in India because we didn’t have anything like that. Then he asked me to choose where I would sit. I didn’t actually want to pick a seat. In India we had fixed seats, so I never needed to worry about that. I spent the rest of the class taking notes from the image produced by the overhead projector (投影仪). In Indian schools, we didn’t use the technology. We had to take notes as the teacher spoke.
It was noon. I was very confused about when I would have lunch. I went to my next class and the bell rang as I entered. I went through the regular (惯常的) process of asking the teacher if I was in the right class. She said, “It’s still fourth period.”
“But the bell just rang,” I said.
Changing from a gentle tone to a harsh (刺耳的) one, she said, “That is the lunch bell, young man.”
I apologized. Without another word I headed for the cafeteria (自助食堂). I felt lucky because we didn’t have this in India. Every confusion seemed like a barrier I had to get through to reach my goal. At the end of the day, I was on my way to the bus which we didn’t have in India either. I saw my bus and sat down inside happily. I was thinking, today wasn’t so bad.
24.Why did the author enroll in an American high school?
A.Because his mother had worked in it for 3 years.
B.Because his father thought little of Indian schools.
C.Because his family wanted him to have a bright future.
D.Because he had been anxious to leave his homeland.
25.What can we learn about the author’s first day of school?
A.He missed his lunch because he was lost.
B.He had no choice but to seat in a fixed seat.
C.His classmates and teachers were all unfriendly.
D.He felt differences between the two education systems.
26.What does the underlined word “barrier” probably mean?
A.Period. B.Difficulty. C.Task. D.Door.
27.What was the author’s attitude towards his first day in high school?
A.Positive. B.Negative. C.Indifferent. D.Doubtful.
C
When you think about your relationship with your parents, how would you describe it? Are you satisfied with it, or would you wish for something more? For many, the relationship with their parents is not perfect, and it may even feel distant (疏远的).
I once hoped that my parents would be my best friends—people I could talk to openly, share my thoughts with, and have meaningful discussions with. However, the reality was very different. Our relationship was often filled with shouting and misunderstandings. We hardly had calm, meaningful conversations. Instead, there were months when we didn’t talk at all because there was nothing to say.
For many years, from my teenage years to my late twenties, this was my reality. But things began to change when I decided to make an effort (努力) to improve the relationship. Now, at 30, my relationship with my parents has improved greatly. We communicate openly, without anger, and show concern for each other in a way that feels natural.
Improving the relationship with your parents takes time. It is not a quick fix. When I first started, my efforts and apology(道歉) seemed pointless. For example, when I tried to hold my mom into my arms, she pushed me away. My dad didn’t give me a love sign. But I didn’t give up. I realized that improving a relationship is not about fixing a single argument; it’s about repairing years of misunderstandings and miscommunications.
To truly improve your relationship with your parents, understand that it’s a long journey. It will not happen overnight, and you may not see results immediately. In my case, it took years of efforts. I had to show my parents that I had changed, not through words, but through actions. They slowly began to react (做出回应), but the process was slow and required patience.
So, if you’re facing problems with your parents, remember that it’s normal. Start by seeing the situation as a long journey. It may not be easy, but if you keep trying and give it time, your relationship can get better. Be patient and stick to the process.
28.What was the author’s early relationship with her parents like?
A.Terrible. B.Peaceful. C.Special. D.Close.
29.How did the author’s parents first react to her efforts?
A.They accepted them warmly. B.They paid little attention to them.
C.They were surprised and moved. D.They apologized for their misunderstandings.
30.What may the author consider most important in improving the parent-child relationship?
A.Making apologies. B.Open conversations.
C.Understanding each other. D.Long-term efforts and patience.
31.Why does the author write the text?
A.To look back on the past. B.To give thanks to her parents.
C.To offer suggestions to others. D.To describe a common social problem.
D
A recent study suggests that eating cheese (奶酪) might have a good effect on health, especially when it comes to sleep. The study, published in the Sleep Medicine journal, explored the possible relationship between eating cheese and a reduced risk of sleep apnea, a condition where breathing stops and starts during sleep.
While past research has talked about the general health advantages of cheese, this study specifically looked at its possible connection to sleep apnea. The researchers noted that cheese contains important nutrients (营养物) like calcium, protein, and vitamins, which may support metabolic and heart health-two factors (因素) related to sleep apnea.
To conduct the study, the researchers analyzed data from two large health databases: the UK Biobank and the FinnGen. They studied health information from 400,000 people and found that those who ate cheese had a 28% lower risk of developing sleep apnea compared to those who did not eat cheese.
The study used a method called Mendelian randomization, which helps recognize cause-and-effect relationships between risk factors and health results. It also examined how eating cheese might influence 44 different biomarkers (生物标志物), such as blood pressure. The results showed that eating cheese affected 23 biomarkers, with six of them directly connected to a lower risk of sleep apnea.
While this connection is certainly exciting, Kael Merrick, a professor of Collegiate Mental & Physical Health Sciences, warned that the study only shows a relationship, not a cause-and-effect relationship, so we have a long way to go.
Dr. Kevin Shayani, who is from Lenox Hill Hospital at Northwell Health in New York City, said that cheese might reduce some bad factors connected to sleep apnea. However, he advised against eating plenty of cheese, as some cheeses are higher in fat than others. Some experts say that people with sleep apnea may feel tired when they wake up after a full night’s sleep. Treatment may include lifestyle changes, medicine, or even operations, depending on how serious the problem is. Always ask a doctor for advice if you have worries.
32.What did the new study aim to explore?
A.Clear advantages of getting a deep sleep.
B.Different factors affecting the general health.
C.The rising risks of heart problems among the elderly.
D.The connection between eating cheese and a reduced risk of sleep apnea.
33.What does the author want to do in paragraph 4?
A.Point out new research directions. B.Provide extra information connected to the study.
C.Present a practical solution. D.Introduce results of other findings.
34.What does Kael Merrick think of the study?
A.It is unexpected. B.It makes no sense.
C.It is well-designed. D.It remains to be continued.
35.What does Dr. Kevin Shayani suggest people do?
A.Eat cheese reasonably. B.Get enough sleep.
C.Keep a balanced lifestyle. D.Go to the doctor’s often.

Ready to see the world and experience the excitement of adventuring out on your own, but how do you do that when you’re a teenager? Good news — it’s definitely possible! But there are big challenges and risks. So I’ve put together some useful tips for starting your dream solo (单独的) trip.
Take a self-protection class.
A short personal safety course is a key investment (投资) for teen solo travelers. Since you look young, you are more likely to be picked out by thieves or robbers. 36 It will help you to stay safe and enjoy your trip.
37 Travelers of all ages are cheated every year. But the common ones fit a few types, like sellers forcing you to buy things you just touched, or people pretending to be tourists asking you for cash. Once you know the typical kinds, it becomes easier to recognize their bad plans early enough to avoid troubles.
Learn about the local laws before you travel.
Different places have different rules. 38 I once got a fine of 300 dollars for drinking orange juice on a bus in Singapore. Respecting local rules is necessary for you to stay away from unnecessary problems during your trip.
Buy travel insurance (保险).
For a teenager, this safety net is really helpful. Based on your insurance level, you can get some money back for missed flights, lost luggage and accidental medical costs. 39
The solo travel you dream of as a teenager won’t be smooth sailing. 40 Follow my suggestions and get well prepared. You’ll minimize (最小化) the risks and create fantastic memories. Safe travels!
A.Learn to avoid travel tricks.
B.Be careful when offering help.
C.Breaking them may bring fines or trouble.
D.You’ll hit roadblocks, and you’ll feel discouraged at times.
E.Luckily, you can pick up necessary skills from a good course.
F.Chat with people who have been there already to know “no-go” zones.
G.With unexpected problems covered, you’ll feel more relaxed during your trip.

第二节(满分25分)
阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
I never thought my father’s job could change my life so much. One evening he came home and told us his company was sending him to another city. At first, I didn’t worry, thinking it might be a short trip or just a small change. But then he added that because he and Mom would both be very busy, I would have to go to a boarding (寄宿) school. The word “boarding” made me unhappy. It meant leaving my neighborhood, my old school, and most of all, my best friend June.
June and I grew up together. We rode bikes in the summer, shared secrets at night, and laughed until our stomachs hurt. When I told her about the move, she tried to smile. “It’s okay,” she said quickly. “We’ll call every weekend. We’ll always be best friends,” she added. I wanted to believe her, so I agreed, holding on to her promise. Still, deep inside, a small voice raised doubts: Would things really stay the same once I left?
The new school was nothing like home. The buildings were big, and the students all were friendly, but I still missed home and June. At Saturday night, I sat on my dormitory (学生宿舍) bed waiting for June’s call. At first, we talked a lot, but soon our calls grew shorter. Sometimes she didn’t answer right away. When she did, she often talked about a new student named Emily. “Emily is so cool,” June said once, laughing through the phone. I forced myself to laugh too, but inside I felt hurt.
I told myself I didn’t care, but the truth was that I cared too much. I imagined Emily taking my place, walking beside June, and telling her jokes that used to be mine. I grew jealous (妒忌的). Soon I stopped answering her calls. I left her texts unread. At night, I cried quietly into my pillow, telling myself June didn’t need me anymore.

(1) 续写词数应为150个左右;
(2) 请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。
One Saturday morning, I heard my name called outside the dormitory.
______________________________________________________________________________________The next afternoon, I saw June off at the train station.
