Sample
Sunday, 7 November Sunny
Last Sunday, I made a paper bookmark for my best friend at home. She loves reading, so I wanted to give her a surprise.
I prepared a piece of blue card paper, a pair of scissors, some glue, a red ribbon, some colourful stickers and a black pen. First, I cut the card paper into a long rectangle and made its corners round. Next, I drew some small stars and a yellow moon on it. Then, I glued a cute panda sticker in the middle and wrote “Happy Reading” at the bottom. Finally, I made a small hole at the top and tied the red ribbon through it.
After I finished, I gave the bookmark to my friend. She liked it very much and used it in her storybook that evening. I was a little tired, but I felt very proud and happy. I also learned that DIY takes patience, but it is fun and meaningful.
