例:reduce /rɪˈdjuːs/、reuse /ˌriːˈjuːz/、plastic /ˈplæstɪk/
例:record: /ˈrekɔːd/ (n.
We should reduce plastic bags. /wiː ʃʊd rɪˈdjuːs ˈplæstɪk bæɡz/
I want to protect the earth, not my brother.(重读 I,突出 “是我,不是别人”)
1. 位于句末;
2. 需要对比、特意强调;
例:普通(弱读 to):I want to (tə) reuse old things.
强调(强读 to /tuː/,对比):I want to (ˈtuː) reuse old things.
In Japan, /people often bow.
When we talk with foreigners, /we should notice body language.
When we talk with foreigners
•并列连词 and /but/so 前面停顿
例:The gesture looks the same, /but it has different meanings.
We wave, /nod and bow. //
The same body language /can mean quite different things.
Listen and read the following sentences. Pay attention to stresses, rhythms and pauses.
1. I’m 'not 'good at 'German.
2. 'English is 'widely 'spoken / all over the 'world.
3. 'Body 'language is 'important / for communi'cation with 'people.
4. 'Try your 'best / and 'work 'hard / to 'practice 'Chinese / from 'now on.

We must be careful with body language. ↘
What does this gesture mean? ↘
Please pay attention to your body language. ↘
How interesting! ↘
Do you know this gesture? ↗
列举:We can wave, ↗ nod, ↗ and bow.
Have you got⁀around the new neighbourhood? (got⁀around → /ɡɒt‑əˈraʊnd/)
They get⁀on well with each other.(get⁀on → /ɡet‑ɒn/)
例:there⁀is /ðeər ɪz/、far⁀away /fɑːr əˈweɪ/
例:前元音为/iː/ /ɪ/(舌位高),加过渡音 /j/:stay + out → stay(j)‑out (/steɪ‑j‑aʊt/)
前元音为/uː/ /əʊ/(唇形圆),加过渡音 /w/:do + it → do(w)‑it (/duː‑w‑ɪt/)
前元音为/aː/ /ʌ/ /eɪ/等(舌位中 / 低),直接自然过渡:high + up → high‑up (/haɪ‑ʌp/)
Listen and role play the conversation. Pay attention to the liaison and mark the intonations of the questions.
