话题1 模范青少年(共6篇)
Passage 1
Some adults say that teenagers today care only about phones and games. Is that fair?
It is true that many young people spend hours online. But the same young people are also the ones who start clubs, plant trees, teach younger children and make short videos about old arts. A phone can be a toy, but it can also be a tool.
Liang Qichao wrote more than a hundred years ago: if we are intelligent, China will be intelligent; if we are wealthy, China will be wealthy; if we are strong, China will be strong. He was writing about young people, and he believed that the duty of the times falls on the youth.
Being a teenager today does not mean waiting until you are grown-up to do something useful. It means asking what you can do now. A student who teaches paper-cutting to a child is doing something useful. So is a student who makes a video which makes one thousand people care about an old art.
Of course, young people still need help. Schools should give them time and room, and adults should listen instead of laughing. But the first step must come from the young themselves. As the most dynamic and creative group in society, they should stand at the forefront of innovation and creation.
1.What do some adults say about teenagers today?
A.They care only about phones and games. B.They work much too hard.
C.They never go online. D.They dislike their school.
2.What does the writer think of a phone?
A.It is always useless for students. B.It should be banned in every school.
C.It is only good for playing games. D.It can be a toy, but it can also be a tool.

A.Only adults can save the country. B.The duty of the times falls on the youth.
C.Young people should wait quietly. D.Money is more important than anything else.
4.Which is an example the writer gives of doing something useful now?
A.Playing games for hours every day. B.Waiting until one grows up.
C.Teaching paper-cutting to a child. D.Buying a new mobile phone.
5.What is the best title for the passage?
A.What Does It Mean to Be a Teenager Today? B.How to Use a Mobile Phone
C.The Long History of Puppetry D.Middle Schools in China
Passage 2
A Stage Made of Cardboard
Xu Jia was thirteen when her class was asked to give a show for the School Art Festival. Her teacher wanted something traditional, but the class had no money to buy anything.
So Xu Jia went home and looked at a pile of old boxes. Her father works in a small factory, and her mother sells vegetables in the market. There was no money for a real puppet, but there were always boxes.
She cut the cardboard, painted two faces on it and joined the parts with string. When she moved her fingers, the puppet moved. Her classmates laughed at first. They said a paper puppet was old-fashioned and cheap.
Xu Jia did not stop. She made eight more puppets and wrote a short story about a girl who saves a village from a drought. On the night of the festival the hall was quiet for the first time. When the show ended, the students stood up and clapped for a long time.
Today Xu Jia is in Grade Nine. She and six other students run a small club which meets every Thursday. They make puppets out of boxes which other people throw away, and they teach children in Grade Seven how to move them. We do not have much, she says. But if you have an idea and two hands, you already have a show.

Passage 3
Young Hands, Old Arts
Not long ago a survey asked 2,000 middle school students in China three questions about traditional art. The answers surprised a lot of teachers.
The first question was: do you like any traditional art? More than seventy percent said yes. The arts which they named most often were paper-cutting, puppetry, Peking opera and dragon dancing.
The second question was: why do you like it? The most common answer was not ‘because it is beautiful’. It was ‘because I can make something with my own hands’. Creativity, it seems, is what young people value most.
The third question was: what stops you from learning it? Almost half of the students said they had no time. Others said they could not find a teacher, or that their parents thought it was a waste of time.
Schools are now trying to change this. Some have invited old artists to give lessons once a week. Others have set up clubs in which students teach each other. In one school in Shandong, a puppetry club which started with nine members now has more than sixty.
Educators say the change is important. If young people do not touch these arts with their own hands, the arts will only live in museums. A tradition which nobody practises is a tradition which is already half gone.
1.How many students answered the survey?
A.200. B.20,000. C.2,000. D.70.
2.What did more than seventy percent of the students say?

A.Because they can make something with their own hands.
B.Because it is easy to learn.

D.Because it is on TV every day.
4.What stops almost half of the students from learning a traditional art?
A.They have no money. B.They have no time.
C.The arts are too difficult to understand. D.The teachers are too strict with them.
5.Why does the writer mention the club in Shandong?
A.To sell puppets to the readers.
B.To say that Shandong is the best place for art.
C.To show that a small club can grow when students join in.
D.To ask readers to visit that school.
Passage 4
Have you heard of inner painting (内画)? It’s a form of traditional art in China. Artists use special bamboo brushes that can go into very small bottles to create their paintings. With a history of over 200 years, there are different schools of inner painting. Beijing, Hebei, Shandong and Guangdong schools are four of them.
Li Shaoyue, from Zibo, Shandong Province, is the fifth-generation inheritor (第五代继承人) of the Shandong school. She learned the skills from her father.
“I have seen my father do this since I was a child. He always works hard and tries to improve his skills, ” Li said. She wanted to be an inner painter like her father because she knew fewer young people were willing to learn inner painting. “If it disappeared, it would be a great pity (遗憾), ” she added.
Li has worked as an inner painter for nine years. Over the years, she has finished a lot of works of art for sale and show. She thinks inner painting requires inheritance and development. Old artists usually choose themes of historical stories. However, Li would like to use something new and modern as the subjects of her artworks. “Now, I’m sharing inner painting skills on the internet to make more people know about inner painting. At the same time, robotic butterflies flew around her, creating a beautiful picture. This mix of modern technology and traditional art surprised the viewers, showing how the past and the future can come together in an amazing way.
Li’s dress was another wonderful part of her performance. It showed many traditional skills. It used plant dyeing (colouring cloth with leaves), bamboo weaving (竹编) and Qiang embroidery (羌绣). One weekend, she helped at a small show in the community hall. A little boy sat quietly at the back until Rui let him move a puppet’s hand. His face lit up.
Rui began asking her grandfather how each puppet was made. She learned to choose light wood, paint clear expressions and move the strings with care. Later, she invited classmates to write short stories for a school performance. Rui did not try to copy her grandfather’s show. She used a story about a robot who learns to care for an old tree.

话题2 理智使用金钱(共6篇)
Passage 1
Three yuan a day
When Li Hao was in Grade 8, he really wanted a blue bike. It cost 480 yuan, but his weekly allowance was only 20 yuan. Instead of asking his parents for more, he decided to earn it himself. As soon as he turned fourteen, he began collecting empty boxes from the supermarket near his home. Every Saturday he carried them to the recycling centre and got three yuan a day.
While he was saving, he also learned to say no to small wants. He stopped buying snacks, and before he bought anything over ten yuan he waited for a week. Most of the time he forgot about it and did not need it any more.
Four months later he had saved 460 yuan. Then his cousin gave him 20 yuan as a birthday gift, and the bike was his. He rode it to school every day, and sometimes he took his younger sister with him.

Passage 2
A family budget
For many families, money is a plan rather than a problem. Before the month begins, parents usually write down two lists: what must be paid and what they would like to buy. Rent, food and school things are needs. A new phone or a trip is a want.
A useful rule is to keep ten per cent aside every month. While the amount is small, it still grows. Since this family began doing so three years ago, they have been able to buy a new computer without borrowing.
Before buying something expensive, families often compare three shops. They check not only the price but also how long the thing may last. Sometimes the cheaper item costs more in the end.
Money cannot buy happiness, but it can buy choices. A careful plan lets a family say yes to what matters and no to what does not.
1.What is the first step in making a budget?
A.Borrowing money. B.Writing down needs and wants.
C.Buying a new phone. D.Comparing three shops.
2.What does the “ten per cent” rule advise?

A.How to make a family budget. B.How to open a small shop.
C.Why phones are so expensive. D.Where to buy cheap food.
Passage 3
A small amount of money can teach a big lesson. When teenagers get pocket money, they can practise planning, saving and making choices. A useful first step is to write down what comes in and what goes out. This helps a person notice small costs that are easy to forget.
Next, divide the money into simple parts: things you need, things you want and savings. The parts do not have to be equal. A student who is saving for a school trip may put more money aside for a few weeks. Another student may need to spend more on a bus pass. A plan should fit the person’s real life.
It is also helpful to compare prices and check quality. The cheapest item may not last long, while a costly item may have features you never use. Asking “Will I still want this next week?” can prevent an unplanned purchase.
Learning to manage money is not about being wealthy. It is about using what you have with care and thinking about your future.
1.What is a useful first step in managing money?
A.Write down income and spending. B.Buy the cheapest thing.
C.Ask a friend for money. D.Spend everything at once.
2.Why can a plan differ from person to person?
A.People have different needs and goals. B.Everyone gets the same allowance.
C.Prices never change. D.Savings are not useful.
3.What should a buyer consider besides price?
A.Quality. B.The colour of the shop. C.A friend’s birthday. D.The weather.
4.What question may prevent an unplanned purchase?
A.“Will I still want this next week?” B.“Can I buy two today?”
C.“Does my friend own one?” D.“Can I spend more?”
5.What is the passage mainly about?
A.How teenagers can manage money thoughtfully. B.How to become rich quickly.
C.Why school trips cost too much. D.How to open a shop.
Passage 4
If you had 4,000 yuan of pocket money, how would you spend it? At a family financial class in Wucunling Community, Nanning, 9-year-old Zhang Weiqichen drew a colourful pie chart (饼图). He planned to put 50% into a growth fund (成长基金), spend 25% on daily needs, and use the rest 25% to help others and buy gifts for his grandparents.
In the class, children learn to tell a “want” from a “need”. They draw pictures, discuss in groups and make their own plans for pocket money. Many of them even put donation (捐赠) and gifts for elders into their plans.
The community (社区) has run such classes since 2021. Parent Wei Liuliu used to control all her son’s pocket money. She either bought him everything or refused him directly. Now she learns that money education is not just about saving. It teaches children to make wise choices and to be thankful (感恩的).
“Letting children practise with money slowly is important,” she says.

Her old bag still worked, and she had enough pencils at home. She decided to save 250 yuan for a science dictionary she would need next term. She used 80 yuan to buy a small gift for her younger brother and put the rest in her savings box.
Two weeks later, the headphones she had wanted were still on her mind, but she had found a pair at home that worked well. Lin was glad she had waited. She learned that making a budget did not mean never enjoying money. It meant choosing what mattered and being responsible for the choice.

话题3 历史和考古(共6篇)
Passage 1
Digitising a site
More than fifty years ago, archaeologists began to record the relics they found. They wrote in notebooks and drew by hand. While this method was careful, it was slow, and some of the information was hard to share.
Today many sites are digitised. High-resolution cameras and 3D scanners build a model of every object in a few hours. Since the work started in 2015, more than 20,000 relics have been modelled, and a student at school can look at them on a screen.
Digitising helps in two ways. First, the model never breaks. Second, the same model can be used in a classroom, on a phone and in a museum. A student who cannot visit the site can still study it.
However, technology cannot replace people. A machine may measure a bronze mask, but only a person can ask why it was made. The past needs both a scanner and a story.
1.What problem did the old method of recording have?
A.It was slow and hard to share. B.It was too accurate.
C.It cost too little. D.It needed no notebooks.
2.When did the digitising work start?
A.In 1990. B.In 2015. C.In 1974. D.In 2020.
3.What is the second advantage of digitising?
A.The model can be used in different places.
B.The model is always broken.
C.The machine asks the questions.
D.The site becomes smaller.
4.What does the writer say about machines?
A.They can replace people completely.
B.They can measure but cannot ask why.
C.They cannot measure a mask.
D.They write better stories.
5.What is the main idea of the passage?
A.New technology helps keep the past alive.
B.Cameras are too expensive.
C.Archaeologists no longer write notes.
D.Schools should close the sites.
Passage 2
As the world celebrates the 81st year of winning the war (战争) against fascism (法西斯), a touching Chinese film, Dead To Rights, lets us see history in a special way. Unlike traditional war movies, it tells a story through a small photo shop during the 1937 Nanjing Massacre (南京大屠杀) .
In the fallen city, some people try to find safety in Jixiang Photo Shop. One of them is a postman, played by Liu Haoran. He pretends (假装) to be a new worker. When he is forced to develop films for Japanese soldiers, he accidentally finds photos that show their cruel (残暴的) acts. At first, they fight only to stay alive—but soon, this becomes a task to protect the truth. They promise to keep these photos, no matter what happens.
Dead To Rights tries something new with its “small people seeing big history” story. Its success comes not only from careful work. Real scenes (场景), the local language and other small but meaningful details all help. More importantly, it arouses people’s feelings for our country. When the shop owner Lao Jin shouts, “Every inch (寸) of our beautiful land must never be given up”, viewers see not just history coming to life, but a sign of a strong, unbroken culture.
The film uses the photo shop to show how people wake up and fight back. It makes people deeply feel how these heroes make an effort to protect the truth. It asks us to look back at history and think deeply about it. It always reminds us to remember the past and value today’s peace.
1.When did the story of Dead To Rights take place?
A.During the 80th year celebration. B.During World War Ⅰ.
C.In modern Nanjing. D.During the 1937 Nanjing Massacre.
2.Why does the postman pretend to be a new worker?
A.To learn photo-taking skills. B.To work for Japanese soldiers.
C.To find a safe place to hide. D.To take photos of historical scenes.
3.What helps Dead To Rights succeed according to the passage?
A.Only wonderful famous actors and big‑budget money. B.Cruel scenes and famous actors.
C.Technical work and the spirits it expresses. D.Sad stories and old photos.
4.What does the underlined word “arouses” in Paragraph 3 mean?
A.Awakens. B.Stops. C.Cuts. D.Steals.
5.What is the main purpose of this passage?
A.To tell a story about a famous actor. B.To explain how war films are made.
C.To introduce a different kind of war film. D.To describe the history of a Chinese city.
Passage 3
Mike, a 12-year-old boy, lived in a mountain village. The village next to his was famous because of a great discovery there. In 2003, paleontologists(古生物学家)found the bones of the largest dinosaur in Europe in a field in that village.
Mike liked dinosaurs more than anything else in the world. He also believed that there was an amazing dinosaur bone under the ground of his own village. His dream was to be the first person to find it.
One summer morning, Mike was exploring in a field near a river. His two friends Fern and Pepe were running toward him with a colourful kite. Mike enjoyed playing with his friends and began to fly the kite with them. As he ran, he fell to the ground. “I caught my left foot on this grey object,” he said.
“A rock,” said Fern. Mike looked at it carefully. “It can’t be a rock,” he said excitedly.
“Let me pull it out,” said Pepe. “No,” said Mike. “It’s better to leave the object right here.”
Mike and the boys ran to school to tell their teacher. The teacher called the paleontologist’s office. The next day, a paleontologist came to examine the object. He put it on his hand and looked at it with a magnifying glass again and again. “It could be a dinosaur bone,” he said. Soon, many paleontologists came and more bones were found. Passage 4
①In 1942, in Changsha, China, archaeologists found something amazing—ancient books written on silk! These aren’t normal books. They are China’s oldest silk books: the Zidanku Silk Manuscripts (子弹库帛书) from the Warring States period (475-221 BC), showing ancient writing and thoughts across three volumes (卷) — Sishi Ling, Wuxing Ling, and Gongshou Zhan.
②Their journey, however, was marked by loss. In 1946, during the war, American collector John Cox cheated Chinese scholar Cai Jixiang to get the manuscripts, taking them abroad. For 79 years, they were moved among U. S. museums, far from their homeland.
③Chinese researchers worked hard, studying historical records and scientific facts to prove that they belonged to China. Finally, in 2025, after peaceful talks, an American museum returned two volumes—Wuxing Ling and Gongshou Zhan—at a ceremony in China’s embassy in Washington D.C.
④This return fixes a historical wrong, showing that stolen cultural treasures must go back to their homeland. It sets a strong example for museums around the world.
⑤Bringing lost treasures home was once nearly impossible, yet China’s tireless research and efforts made it happen, showing its ability to protect cultural treasures.
⑥The manuscripts’ return enables deeper historical understanding for future generations. In July 2025, the National Museum of China will hold an exhibition named “________”, allowing public access to these treasures. Students and scholars alike will get new insights into China's past.
⑦While two volumes are home, cultural experts are now looking for the first volume—Sishi Ling. Reuniting the full collection promises to unlock further secrets of these ancient writings and compose new chapters in the ongoing story of cultural homecoming.

A.Playing games for hours every day. B.Waiting until one grows up.
C.Teaching paper-cutting to a child. D.Buying a new mobile phone.

A.What Does It Mean to Be a Teenager Today? B.How to Use a Mobile Phone

A.200. B.20,000. C.2,000. D.70.

A.Because they can make something with their own hands.
B.Because it is easy to learn.
C.Because their parents like it.

A.Spending ten per cent at once. B.Keeping a small part every month.
C.Never saving any money. D.Buying things at ten yuan each.
3.Why may a cheaper item cost more?
A.It may not last long. B.It is made abroad.
C.It is sold in three shops. D.It has a better colour.
4.What can a careful plan help a family do?
A.Say yes to what matters. B.Borrow from the bank.
C.Buy more things. D.Spend all the money.

A.How to make a family budget. B.How to open a small shop.

【详解】
1.根据第一段“Before the month begins, parents usually write down two lists: what must be paid and what they would like to buy.”可知,在月初之前,父母通常会写下两份清单:必须支付的和想要购买的。这说明做预算的第一步是写下“需要”和“想要”。
2.根据第二段“A useful rule is to keep ten per cent aside every month.”可知,文章建议每个月把百分之十放在一边,也就是每月存下一小部分钱。
3.根据第三段“They check not only the price but also how long the thing may last. Sometimes the cheaper item costs more in the end.”

【答案】1.A 2.A 3.A 4.A 5.A
