It's the brazilian carnival. This festival is also mentioned in the festivals and celebrations in both three unit, one from the text boat published by PEP. Brazil's carnival is one of the world's largest festivals known for its over the top costumes, extravagant float and street parties renowned for their departure. It's an event that brings the whole country to a halt and reel in hundreds of thousands of tourists each year. But how did these iconic festivities begin? Now I will bring you the low down on the history of brazil. Though the carnie is a traditional folk party in brazil, the brazilian did not invented surprisingly, brazil festivities are associated with cathos m. And a word derived from the lattin carn bail, meaning goodbye flesh, was originally a food festival where catholic worshippers feasted in preparation for the following forty days of land. The portuguese settings brought this festival with them from europe when they colonized brazil in the early sixteen hundreds, though back then IT was celebrated as formal balls in the portuguese homes. However, IT didn't take long for the F. A. Brazilians to start their own carnival, african inspired dances, music and the introduction of the fancy dress element. For several years, carnie was a segregated celebration. IT wasn't until the twenty eighth century that the parties began to come to the streets, and IT became a festival that everyone enjoying together. After years of development, the brazilian carnal, which began as the catholic event, has turned into the world's largest outdoor party, and IT continues to grow. Each year. During the festival, brazilians and foreigners I like go to brazil streets to let go for one week and enjoy this traditional aspect of brazilian culture. Carnie begins every year on the friday before shrove tuesday and ends on ash wednesday, which Marks the beginning of land. The festival will last for five days. However, the carnal holidays are not nationwide public holidays. In brazil, most regions choose the carnie days as state holidays, but not all in some cities in the self life goes on as usual every year. The city, most globally for its carnival celebrations is riot gero in rio, dion ero. Some became to represent carnival. And in the early nineteen, the first sub schools were formed. Soma schools are an association of people who live in the same neighborhood. rio. They are not teaching institutions. As their name implies, they are more like representative teams that represented a certain neighborhood. Sab schools started to compete in the early nineteen and thirties through performances in the parade in a bid to be crowned the winner of carnival each summer. School has around five thousand participants who perform in the parade. They sing, dancing, play percussion to an audience of over ninety thousand spectators ors, all under the scrutiny of a panel of forty judges, some where schools are the absolute backbone of rios carnival. They are the ones that put on the big shows. Super schools collaborate to make the dance routines, costumes, floats, super songs, which you're all designed by members of the sample schools. The intricate costumes and impressive floats are made months in advance at the somma city, a large creative workshop in rios downtown that is shared by all the sample schools. But carnie queen is an iconic figure of the schools. The queen is the most talented and beautiful soma ancor chose to represent each school, a position that is highly sought after, thanks to its prestige, status and lucrative modeling and TV deals. Although the religious element of the carnival has become somewhat lost, the schools based their parade performances on certain themes that usually represent brazilian history or social and environmental issues in brazil these days, the parades take place in rio samudra, a wide avenue flink on either side by large spectator stands that can house tens of thousands of people who come to watch the job, dropping performances of the some but schools which they prepare in practice throughout the entire year. Real carnival can be a daunting experience for first timers. The beaches in streets of rio are bustling with crowds of millions. Everything is a little crazy. The hotels are booked up, and IT can be a little difficult knowing where to go when there are so many events all over the city. OK, that's all about the brazilian carnival. Do you want to go to brazil to experience the atmosphere of carnal? Here is a list of words and phrases from this passage. Please learn them by heart.

Dear Binbin,
How are you? I miss China, but I am happy to be back home in Brazil. It is February, so I am enjoying the Carnival in my hometown, Rio de Janeiro. This is my favourite festival. It is also one of the biggest carnivals in the world. During this time, we have hundreds of street parties all over the city.
The most important celebrations take place in the streets along the beach. You can see parades everywhere for days. A very traditional dance is the samba. Many dance schools in Rio prepare their own shows for the Carnival. We have a special place for these shows. It is like a huge stadium where the school groups can perform. Here you will hear people playing beautiful music and see them dancing in fantastic costumes.
This festival is so important for Brazil. It brings everyone together to celebrate the colourful culture and way of life here.
I hope that you'll come and experience this with me one day.
Best wishes,
Jason

Dear Ben,
I am happy to know you are interested in traditional festivals in China. I will tell you how I spend the Mid-Autumn Festival with you.
The Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar. On this day, I spend time with my family at home. As always, my mom and I make mooncakes together. I like to make mooncakes of different shapes, such as round and fish-shaped. At night, after my dad sets the table in the yard, my whole family enjoy the mooncakes and admire the full moon. My grandma usually tells us the story of Chang’e. It is really a wonderful day.
I like the Mid-Autumn Festival best because it is a time for family members to get together and everyone has great fun on this day.
Yours,
Li Hua
