Unit3 Happy together Fuel up 第四课 (教学设计） 一、Teaching Aims 1.Students can read and recite the chant “We’re friends again!” with correct rhythm. 2.Students can recognize and pronounce the “ew” sound in words like new, few, etc. 3.Students can understand the story of Sally and Mia and complete the listening tasks. 4.Students can talk about their own friendship problems in groups using simple sentences. 二、Key and Difficult Points · Key points: Read the chant fluently; know the “ew” sound; understand the listening part. · Difficult points: Pronounce “ew” correctly; use full sentences to share ideas in group work. 三、Teaching Tools PPT, chant audio, pictures of Sally and Mia, word cards, students’ books. 四、Teaching Procedures Step 1: Lead-in / Review Teacher shows some pictures of friends playing together and asks: “Are they happy? Do friends always have fun?” Let students answer. Then review some words from the last lesson about friends. Purpose: To get students ready for the topic and review old knowledge. Step 2: Listen and chant Teacher plays the chant audio. Students listen and try to find the rhyming words. Then teacher reads line by line, students read after teacher. After that, students practice in pairs. Finally, ask some pairs to show their chant. Purpose: To help students feel the rhythm and understand the chant. Step 3: Phonics time Teacher writes “new” and “few” on the blackboard. Ask students what sound they hear. Guide them to find the “ew” rule. Do the “Hear it, say it” activity on page 32. Teacher shows some word cards, students read them out loud. Purpose: To help students learn the “ew” sound and practice pronunciation.
