What musicians do you know?
How did you come to know him/her?
What story does he/she have?
Write a list of famous musicians. Here are some examples.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791)
Mozart was an Austrian composer widely regarded as one of the greatest musical talents in history. He began playing the piano at just three years old and was already composing music by the age of five. During his short life of only 35 years, he wrote over 600 works, including symphonies (交响乐), operas, and piano pieces that are still performed and loved all over the world today.
Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827)
Beethoven was a German composer and pianist renowned for creating some of the most powerful and emotional music ever written. What makes his story truly inspiring is that he gradually lost his hearing in his twenties, yet continued to compose extraordinary (非凡的) music even when he was completely deaf. His most famous work, the Ninth Symphony, was written when he could not hear a single note.
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840-1893)
Tchaikovsky was a Russian composer best known for his beautiful and dramatic music. He is especially loved for his ballet music, including Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and The Nutcracker, which are performed by ballet companies around the world every year. His music is full of deep emotion and has a magical quality that makes it instantly (马上) recognizable and unforgettable.
Choose one musician your group wants to introduce. Do some research and complete his or her profile.
Share which musician you will research to limit the number covering the same musician.
Listen to the music of these musicians to get the best idea of what the musicians are like.
Do not just “cut and paste(粘贴)” information, you should read it, close the source, then rewrite in your own words to improve your understanding and memory of the information.
The most important parts:
Contribution: means more than what works they produced, it also means the effect they had on their country, culture and the world in general.
Your Comment: it is the most important and requires deeper thought from the group together.

Debussy created a completely new style of music that focused on mood and atmosphere rather than strict rules. He is known as the father of Impressionist music and inspired many composers after him.
