Passage 1 [C 篇]
Down the Rabbit‑Hole —— 掉进兔子洞
One sunny afternoon, Alice was sitting by the river with her sister. She was feeling sleepy, so she began to think about making a daisy‑chain. Suddenly, a white rabbit ran past her. It was holding a watch in its hand! Alice had never seen a rabbit with a watch before, so she jumped up and ran after it.
The rabbit ran into a large rabbit‑hole under the hedge. Alice followed it down, down, down. The hole went straight on for a long way, and then suddenly went down. Alice felt she was falling very slowly. She had plenty of time to look around. She saw cupboards and bookshelves on the walls. She even took a jar from a shelf. It was marked "ORANGE MARMALADE", but when she opened it, it was empty. She put it back sadly because she did not want to drop it on her head.
Down, down, down. At last, Alice landed on a pile of dry leaves. She was not hurt. She found herself in a long, low hall. Many doors were around her, but they were all locked. On a small table, she found a tiny golden key and a bottle. The bottle said "Drink me". It was not marked "poison", so Alice was careful enough to taste a little first. It tasted like cherry tart, so she drank it all in a few minutes. Soon she felt a strange change coming on.

Passage 15 [D 篇]
Alice Becomes a Queen —— Alice 成为女王
As Alice walked on, the pieces of the chess board rose up and began to dance. She thought they were very strange. Soon she was at the eighth square. There sat two kings and two queens. The White Queen stood up and gave Alice a crown. Alice was very surprised.
"You are the Queen now," said the White Queen. "You have won the game." Alice was happy but a little afraid. She did not know how to be a queen. The White Queen told her she would have to learn many things. She would have to learn how to speak to kings and queens. She would also have to learn how to behave at parties. She said it would take time to learn.
Then the Red Queen came up. "You are only a pawn," she said. "You cannot be a queen. You have to go through the looking‑glass world again. Then you will come back to your own world and become a real queen." Alice did not understand her. She felt confused.
Just then, Alice felt her hand on her sister's knee. She opened her eyes. The looking‑glass world had disappeared. She was back on the bank. Her sister was looking at her. "Wake up, Alice dear," said her sister. "You have slept a long time." Alice told her sister about her strange dream. The sun was setting behind the trees, and Alice felt warm and happy.
