Ecotourism (生态旅游) has become popular in recent years. Many villages in China have developed ecotourism to improve local life. Lushan Village, located in Jiangxi Province, is a good example.
Forty years ago, Lushan Village was an underdeveloped area. People there made a living mainly by 36 . The roads were narrow and the traffic wasn’t 37 . Few visitors came here and most young people 38 the village to search for jobs in cities. As a result, the village became lifeless.
Things began to change in 2010. The local government determined to change the situation. They finally found a solution-developing ecotourism. First, they built 39 roads and more public toilets so that the transportation could be easier and the village could be cleaner. Then, they encouraged locals to turn their old houses into guest houses. Farmers started to change their old way to grow vegetables and fruit by using high technology. So they can run a small 40 by selling these products to people online.
Over the past years, Lushan Village has changed 41 . With everyone’s effort, the village has successfully become a (an) 42 . Every year, thousands of visitors come here to enjoy the fresh air, climb mountains and experience country life. Young people have returned to work in the village — some run cafes, some work as tour guides, and others 43 guest houses.
Villagers become richer and can now 44 better education and medical care. “I have lived here since I was born. I have seen the village change from a 45 place into a model modern village. I’m glad that we can lead a happy life while protecting nature,” said an old local.

40.A.tunnel B.port C.business
41.A.hardly B.greatly C.soon

43.A.enter B.lead C.manage
44.A.bring about B.depend on C.pay for
45.A.rough B.poor C.man-made
36.A 37.C 38.A 39.B 40.C 41.B 42.A 43.C 44.C 45.B
“The roads were narrow…”
“thousands of visitors come here…”

B(26-27九年级上·福建福州·开学考试)
Every day, millions of people around the world use plastic. They may eat with plastic forks or carry food in plastic bags. However, plastic doesn’t just disappear quickly from the environment. A lot of it ends up in the world’s oceans and causes harm to sea animals and the environment.
A report in 2024 brought some hope for this plastic problem. Scientists discovered a tiny fungus (真菌) in seawater that “eats up” plastic! They found it in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, a huge area in the Pacific Ocean filled with floating (漂浮的) plastic pieces. The fungus is called P. album. It lives naturally in the ocean. Scientists learnt that it can break down a type of plastic called polyethylene, which is one of the most common plastics and is widely used to make bags, bottles, and toys.
However, there is a condition. The fungus can only break down the plastic after it has been in the sunlight for some time. That’s because sunlight helps break down the plastic, making it easier for the fungus to use it as food.
Scientists did some tests to learn more about the fungus. They watched how it ate plastic over time. They found out that the fungus eats up the plastic pretty slowly and it turns most of the plastic into carbon dioxide (CO2), a greenhouse gas that causes climate change. However, the amount of the gas the fungus makes is quite small.
Although this discovery is exciting, there is still much to learn. Scientists believe there might be other fungi out there in the deep ocean that also feed on plastic. They will continue exploring so that they can better protect our planet.
51.How does the writer lead into the topic of the fungus?
A.By describing different types of plastics.
B.By introducing scientists’ research on oceans.
C.By discussing the importance of ocean protection.
D.By talking about the wide use of plastic and its harm.
52.What does the underlined word “it” in Paragraph 3 refer to?
A.The ocean. B.The sunlight. C.The fungus. D.The plastic.
53.What disadvantage does the fungus have?
A.It needs sunlight to grow.
B.It breaks plastic down slowly.
C.It feeds on other fungi in the deep ocean.
D.It makes a large amount of greenhouse gas.
54.What’s the structure of the text?
A.Opinion — Reasons — Conclusion. B.Problem — Solution — Final result.
C.Problem — Discovery — Future plan. D.Question — Discussion — Conclusion.
55.Why does the writer write the text?
A.To call on people to stop using plastic products.
B.To show the bad influence of plastic on the oceans.
C.To introduce a possible solution to plastic problems.
D.To explain how plastic ends up in the Pacific Ocean.

第一段中的句子“Every day, millions of people around the world use plastic…However, plastic doesn’t just disappear quickly from the environment. A lot of it ends up in the world’s oceans and causes harm to...”
52.第三段中的句子“The fungus can only break down the plastic after it has been in the sunlight for some time. That’s because sunlight helps break down the plastic...”
53.第四段中的句子“They found out that the fungus eats up the plastic pretty slowly and it turns most of the plastic into carbon dioxide (CO₂)...”

My Summer Experience at a Greening Project
Last summer, I volunteered at a desert greening project in Inner Mongolia. I had heard about desertification in school, but I never really understood it until I saw it with my own eyes. The dry land stretched as far as I could see. It was both shocking and inspiring.
Our team worked together to plant trees and build irrigation systems. Every morning, we carried young trees and tools into the sandy fields. It was hard work, but we were all motivated by the goal of making the land green again. I also learned a lot about the local plants and how they survive in such harsh conditions. One of the local experts taught us about the “Green Wall” project, which aims to stop the desert from spreading.
At the end of the two weeks, I looked back at the area where we had worked. The small trees we planted were already starting to make a difference. It was a small step, but I felt proud to be part of such an important project.
This experience changed my view on environmental protection. I realized that even small actions can help. I am now more committed to living a green life and encouraging others to do the same.

Many people think that creative thinking is only for great thinkers, but that’s not true. Everyone can develop creative thinking with the right methods. Here are some tips:
First, ask questions. Great thinkers always ask “why” and “how” about everything. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, even if they seem silly. Second, think differently. When you face a problem, try to look at it from different angles. For example, if you can’t solve a math problem, try to use a different formula. Third, take risks. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Mistakes are chances to learn and improve. Fourth, keep learning. Read books, watch videos, and learn from others. The more you know, the more creative you can be.
Remember, creative thinking is not something you are born with. It’s a skill you can develop with practice.
61.What does the passage tell us?

E(25-26九年级上·河南鹤壁·阶段检测)
In my opinion, the wheel is the most important thing that human beings have ever invented. It might seem strange to say that something so simple-looking and so common could be so important. 66
Firstly, wheels influence almost every part of our lives. Wheels are used, for example, in clocks, machines and cars. If you visit just one factory, you will see how important wheels are. 67
Secondly, wheels play a great part in food production. Wheels are used to grind (磨碎) different kinds of corn into flour (面粉) . They are then used to mix flour and other foods to make bread. We also need wheels to transport (运输) the wheat (小麦). 68
Thirdly, our world would be completely different if we did not have the wheel for transport. Before the wheel was invented, people used to have to travel on foot or by riding an animal. They didn’t know where to put their heavy bags. 69 That is what we would be doing now if we did not have the wheel. Everything would take longer to do.
We would be back to the Stone Age if the clever ancient people had not invented the wheel. Our modern world would simply be impossible. 70
A.It took long to finish their journeys.
B.You will see wheels on almost every machine.
C.The wheel is surely the most important invention of all time.
D.But if you consider the following points, you will probably agree with me.
E.If we did not have the wheel, we would have much difficulty in food production.
【答案】66.D 67.B 68.E 69.A 70.C
前文提到:“say that something so simple-looking and so common could be so important”,后文紧接着用“Firstly”开始列举理由。D项“But if you consider the following points, you will probably agree with me.”
67.前句提到:“If you visit just one factory, you will see how important wheels are. ”,空缺处应具体说明在工厂能看到什么。B项“You will see wheels on almost every machine.”
E项“If we did not have the wheel, we would have much difficulty in food production.”
A项“It took long to finish their journeys.”说明了过去旅行方式的低效,与后文“…if we did not have the wheel. Everything would take longer to do.”
C项“The wheel is surely the most important invention of all time.”

C.It feeds on other fungi in the deep ocean. D.It makes a large amount of greenhouse gas.
54.What’s the structure of the text?
A.Opinion — Reasons — Conclusion. B.Problem — Solution — Final result.
C.Problem — Discovery — Future plan. D.Question — Discussion — Conclusion.

D.But if you consider the following points, you will probably agree with me.
