Meilin: So what about you,Paul? Do you have any travel plans?
Paul: Yes, actually! My parents are taking me to Yunnan Province in China to visit Lijiang!
Meilin: Lijiang? That's quite famous in China.
Paul: Yes. One of my father's friends lives there. He invited us to visit.
Meilin: Oh,that's nice! So what's the weather like there?
Paul: It should be pleasant during the day, but it might be cold at night, so I'm taking a few
light sweaters and a coat.
Meilin: What're you planning to see there?
Paul: Well, I know I'm definitely going to see the Old Town of Lijiang and Yulong Snow
Mountain. Other than that, I'm not sure. I'm buying a Lijiang guidebook today, actually.
Example:
A: Hi, Julie! Do you have any plans for the holiday?
B: Hi, Wang Lei! Yes, I'm planning to travel to Jiuzhaigou. Actually, I've just finished making the travel arrangements.
A: Oh, good idea! Jiuzhaigou is an extremely beautiful place.
B: Yes, I'm looking forward to seeing the colourful lakes, amazing waterfalls, and beautiful plants.
A: How are you getting ready for your trip?
B: Well, since we plan to go camping, I need to get some good hiking clothes, and I also need a sleeping bag and a tent.
A: How do you plan on getting there?
B: Well, we're planning to take the train and then rent a car, so we have to get train tickets and contact a car rental agency.
A: And then what are you going to eat while camping?
B: Ah! That's another problem entirely! We are getting a camp stove, and then we are bringing with us some dried food that is light to carry. We'll also need to bring our own water.
A: That all sounds like a good plan. Looks like you really know what you're doing.
B: Thanks!
