How tall he is! 思路点拨：同一句赞叹可用 What 或 How 两种开头——区别正是本课要学的。 （二）Step 2 3a 观察与总结结构 3a Read the sentences and discuss how to make exclamatory sentences with what or how.（课本 p.45） What an amazing smell (it is)! / How delicious the dish looks! / What a mess (it is)! / How clever you are! / What luck (we have)! / How wonderful life is! 观察：括号里的主语+谓语可以省略；感叹句用 what 或 how 引导。 定义：感叹句是表达一种较为强烈的感情（如喜悦、赞叹、惊异、愤怒、厌恶等）的句子，读时一般用降调。 两大句型——1. What 型：What (+a/an)+形容词+名词（+主语+谓语）！what 型感叹句以名词为中心词：①中心词为单数可数名词加冠词 a/an（What an interesting poem it is!）②中心词为不可数名词无冠词（What bad weather it is!）③中心词为复数名词无冠词（What beautiful flowers they are!）。2. How 型：How+形容词/副词（+主语+谓语）！how 型感叹句以形容词或副词为中心词（How lucky we are! / How quickly the time passed! / How bright the stars are!）。 图2　What 型感叹句三种情况 思路点拨：What a beautiful city! 这座城市真漂亮！/ How beautifully she sings! 她唱得真好听！——注意第二句 beautifully 是副词。 （三）Step 3 做题口诀与三个注意 感叹句做题口诀：去主谓，看末尾；名词 what，形副 how；a / an 出现注意到；形名相连用 what；形名相隔就用 how；特殊形式记心间；多多少少也用 how。 注意 1：what 和 how 引导的感叹句通常可以互相转换——What a lovely day it is! → How lovely the day is! / What good suggestions! → How good the suggestions are! 注意 2：口语中常用简略式（省略主语和谓语）——What an interesting poem! / What beautiful flowers! / What bad weather! / How lucky! / How fast! / How bright! 注意 3：可以用一个单词或短语作感叹句，也可用带 what 或 how 的短语表达强烈情感——Wonderful! 好精彩！/ No way! 没门！/ What a pity! 真可惜！ 图3　感叹句做题口诀 思路点拨：口诀第一句最关键：先去掉主谓，再看句子末尾是什么词——末尾是名词用 what，否则用 how。 （四）Step 4 3b 陈述句变感叹句 3b Change the following sentences into exclamatory sentences.（课本 p.45）做题三步：1. 找到主语谓语；2. 确定感叹对象是名词用 what，是形容词或副词用 how；3. 可数名词单数用 what an/a，不可数名词或可数名词复数用 what。 1. It's a pretty hat. (what) → What a pretty hat (it is)! 2. The weather is terrible. (how) → How terrible the weather is! 3. The Christmas tree looks fantastic. (how) → How fantastic the Christmas tree looks! 4. It was an interesting film. (what) → What an interesting film (it was)! 5. Emma sings very well. (how) → How well Emma sings! 6. The pancake tastes delicious. (how) → How delicious the pancake tastes! 【3b】1. What a pretty hat it is!　2. How terrible the weather is!　3. How fantastic the Christmas tree looks!　4.
