Artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer a far-off idea. It has entered many parts of our lives, from daily tasks to global (全球的) fields. At the 2025 Bund Summit (外滩金融峰会) in Shanghai, different AI products were shown. Some companies showed their high-tech AI machines, showing how much AI has improved in different fields.
Dr. Demis Hassabis, a top AI scientist and the winner of the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, said at an event in Greece that “learning how to learn” will be the most important skill for young people. He thinks that as AI develops faster, this skill will be more important because it helps people keep up with changing technology. He added that AI can do many things, like dealing with large amounts (数量) of data (数据) quickly, but it can’t give people the ability to explore new knowledge on their own.
To keep up with AI’s fast development, students need to develop important skills. These skills include critical (批判性) thinking, managing study time well, and getting used to new technologies. In some schools, students learn to check if AI-collected information is trustworthy—this is a way to practice critical thinking. With these skills, students can do better in an AI-driven future.
Though AI brings much convenience, we shouldn’t depend on it too much. We should see AI as a useful tool, not a replacement for our own thinking. Only then can we make good use of AI while keeping our ability to learn and create.
19.What may be shown at the 2025 Bund Summit in Shanghai?
A.A silk scarf. B.A traditional fan. C.A smart watch.
20.According to Dr. Demis Hassabis, what is the most important skill for young people?
A.Getting used to new technologies
B.Learning how to learn
C.Mastering basic computer skills
21.What does the underlined word “trustworthy” mean in Paragraph 3?
A.Forgettable B.Changeable C.Dependable
22.Which of the following could be the best title for the passage?
A.AI Users: To Learn How to Learn
B.AI Products: To Bring More Fun to Life
C.AI Technologies: To Be Used in More Fields

AI-made short dramas have become very popular on short-video apps in the past year. Unlike traditional small dramas that need actors, cameras, studios and weeks of filming, these AI short dramas can be made by one person in just a few hours with simple AI tools. You only need to type a story idea, and AI will write the stories , make virtual (虚拟的)characters, create scenes, add voices and even finish the whole video by itself.
Many creators like AI dramas because they cost little and are made fast. A team of three once made 80 episodes (集) of an AI history drama with only 3,000 yuan, and it got over 500 million views online. For common people with no filming experience, AI makes their story dreams come true easily. It also lets small content teams make more works in less time, opening a new door for online fun.
However, there are serious problems behind the fast growth. Most AI short dramas have the same repetitive stories—rich-poor reversal (反转), love revenge (复仇), fantasy magic—with no deep or creative ideas. AI often makes logical (逻辑的)mistakes: characters’ faces change suddenly, actions don’t match lines, and scenes are not the same all the time. What’s worse, many AI dramas use misleading or even bad content to win attention, such as untrue history, fighting and wrong values, which misleads young viewers a lot.
Another big worry is that AI may take away jobs. Professional (职业的) actors, directors, editors and screenwriters are getting less work as more companies turn to cheap AI production. Some people also become too crazy about watching these fast, simple AI dramas, losing interest in reading books or watching high-quality films and shows.
Experts say AI short dramas are not good or bad themselves. They are a new tool. What matters is how we use and control them. Platforms should check AI dramas strictly to stop bad content. Creators should add human creativity instead of just copying AI works. And viewers, especially teenagers, should choose meaningful works and control their watching time. Only in this way can AI short dramas develop healthily and bring real fun to people.
23.What can we learn from the example in Paragraph 2?
A.AI dramas are always popular with viewers.
B.Making AI dramas needs a big team.
C.AI helps ordinary people create works easily.
D.Traditional micro-dramas will disappear soon.
24.What does the underlined word “repetitive” in Paragraph 3 probably mean?
25.Which is NOT a problem of AI short dramas according to the passage?
A.Logical mistakes in videos. B.Misleading and bad content.
C.High cost for small teams. D.Taking jobs from professionals.
26.What is the main idea of the passage?
A.How to make popular AI short dramas.
B.The development of AI video technology.
C.People’s different ideas about creating AI dramas.
D.Advantages, problems and proper use of AI short dramas.

Today we can do everything with apps: pay bills, order food and shop for anything. Mobile technology means we can hold the world in our hands. However, when it comes to technology and health care, opportunities (机遇) and risks come together.
Let’s start with the ways to get health care. techno-health (远程医疗) can allow a patient to use technology to see the doctor online and get a diagnosis (诊断) and medical advice without leaving home.
Also, there are many patient websites. These allow for different kinds of communication about our health needs without talking to the medical team. Setting a date with doctors and reading lab results are readily achieved by technology.
A whole new age of medical care seems likely to come in the future. But every coin has two sides. What might be on the other side of techno-health care?
Firstly, we should think about the health care experience as a whole. A usual visit to a doctor begins with a receptionist (接待员) , who can see and tell how a patient is doing, This may influence the quality of care. It’s unlikely that a patient website will have such intuition. For example, a receptionist might notice if a patient looks not well or sounds worried, and can quickly tell a doctor.
Next, sharing the details of one’s life needs trust, which takes time to build. This is certainly true in health care, where we share some of life’s best and worst moments with doctors. The human touch should not be undervalued and is unlikely to be there over the smartphone.
Lastly, test results can be difficult to understand. When someone without a medical degree sees a flagged result with no explanation on the website, there’s room for all kinds of stories to form in their minds— and also great worry.
So how does medicine adapt (适应) to the new technology age? Very smart companies are working on it. There is medical equipment (设备) that can be used at home to send necessary health information and heart sounds through techno-health. It seems likely that some companies will find a way to explain test results.
But what it will not achieve is the warmth of human connection and touch. Patients often need someone to listen to and care about their journey story, which will never be realized through a human-less technology. Technology should be a tool, but depending on it totally will most certainly have unexpected effects. Let’s not allow the loss of humanity (人性) to be one of them.
27.According to the passage, how does technology help health care?
A.It encourages doctors to voice their needs on the websites.
B.It offers the patient a convenient way to get a diagnosis.
C.It improves relations between doctors and patients.
D.It provides an opportunity to build a medical team.
28.The word “intuition” in Paragraph 5 probably means ________.
A.an ability to understand B.an interesting experience
C.a chance to win D.a fair decision
29.What do you know about techno-health care from the passage?
A.Patient websites require trust from doctors. B.Talented companies can give medical advice.
C.Flagged results may cause worry for patients. D.Medical equipment collects patients’ stories.
30.The writer probably agrees that ________.
A.technology can deal with unexpected effects
B.techno-health can take the place of usual health care
C.it is difficult for patients to adapt to the new technology age
D.techno-health care should consider humanity

根据第二段“For common people with no filming experience, AI makes their story dreams come true easily.”
24.根据第三段“Most AI short dramas have the same repetitive stories—rich-poor reversal..., love revenge…, fantasy magic—with no deep or creative ideas.”
25.根据第二段“Many creators like AI dramas because they cost little and are made fast.”
26.文章第二段讲述 AI 短剧制作成本低、耗时短等优势,第三、四段阐述剧情重复、逻辑错误等问题,第五段提到“What matters is how we use and control them.”

文中第二段提到“techno-health (远程医疗) can allow a patient to use technology to see the doctor online and get a diagnosis (诊断) and medical advice without leaving home”,说明科技为患者提供了便捷的诊断方式,对应选项B;A、C、D均与原文表述不符。
28.根据后文例子“a receptionist might notice if a patient looks not well or sounds worried, and can quickly tell a doctor”,能看出接待员有感知患者状态的能力,因此“intuition”在这里的意思是理解、感知的能力,对应选项A。
29.文中第七段提到“When someone without a medical degree sees a flagged result with no explanation on the website, there’s room for all kinds of stories to form in their minds—and also great worry”,说明标记的检查结果可能会让患者产生担忧,对应选项C;A、B、D均不符合原文内容。
30.文章最后一段提到“Technology should be a tool, but depending on it totally will most certainly have unexpected effects. Let’s not allow the loss of humanity (人性) to be one of them”,能看出作者认为远程医疗需要考虑人性关怀,对应选项D。

33.上文提问“项目中你最喜欢的部分是什么”,Allen 表示自己很享受筛选适配音乐的过程,B选项“It was something that I really liked.”

“when cars get too close”提示设备的作用是对骑手发出警示,reminding意为“提醒”。
下文“Some are wrist bands…Others are jacket badges”列举了腕带、徽章两种不同款式,说明设备有不同种类,types意为“种类”。
“to make sure they are safe and reliable”说明政府制定相关准则来规范产品,standard意为“标准”。
根据常识及street lamps可知是辅助而非替代,take the place of意为“取代”。come up with想出,depend on依赖,belong to属于,语义不通。
“the device must be charged every two days.”
It它,We我们,You你,指代对象错误。
In fact事实上,For example例如,After all毕竟,不用于篇章末尾总结。
