(本题7.5分)There are many fun, free activities that you can do as a family. All that is required is a bit of imagination and some time. And the best part is that these are the kind of fun and family memories that a kid will remember for a lifetime.
Family Game Night
Kids often get games for Christmas or birthdays, and would love to have a chance to play with their family or make up some games of their own. Charades (猜字谜游戏) is a fun game that will challenge kids to use their imagination. Divide the family into teams and let each team come up with words and the other has to act out.
Family Art Time
Pick some time for the family to sit down and come up with their own art. It doesn’t need to be just a drawing — take some old magazines, let the kids cut out pictures and paste them into their own shape. Or let them use leaves, branches and whatever else they can find to make something from their imagination.
Family Picnic
Taking the family for a picnic is a great way for some fun that doesn’t cost any money. If the weather is nice, take them to a park or playground and let them have a day of playing.
Family Field Trip
A family field trip doesn’t have to cost a cent. Ask a nearby farm if you can bring your kids out for a tour and to see some of the animals. Or take them to a park to find certain items from nature. Ask a local business if you could bring the family for a tour to see how things work — you might be surprised at the number of people who would be excited to share what they do with others, and it could be an interesting lesson for kids.
What are kids supposed to do when playing the game charades?
A.Prepare some cakes for each other.
B.Be quick to follow others’ actions.
C.Sing a song for each other in turn.
D.Connect actions with certain words.
What can be inferred from the last paragraph?
A.It costs a lot to visit a park for a family.
B.You may share your own experience with workers.
C.You should ask for permission from the farm owner.
D.All the people will be excited to share what they have with you.
Whom is the passage mainly intended for?
A.Teachers. B.Parents. C.Tourists. D.Teenagers.

根据Family Field Trip部分“Ask a nearby farm if you can bring your kids out for a tour and to see some of the animals. (问问附近的农场,你是否可以带你的孩子出去参观,看看一些动物)”可推知,你应该征求农场主人的同意。
23.推理判断题。根据第一段“There are many fun, free activities that you can do as a family. All that is required is a bit of imagination and some time. (有很多有趣且免费的活动可供全家一起开展。只需要一点想象力和时间)”以及下文反复出现的Kids、family可知,这篇文章主要介绍了几个以家庭为单位的免费活动,这些活动能带给参与的孩子更多的乐趣和回忆,由此可推知,这篇文章主要是写给父母的。
(本题10分)I packed my family into our old car and set off on a 3,000 km trip from Sydney to the outback (内陆), hoping to create lasting memories for the kids. My plan seemed ambitious — covering such distances with two young kids in the back might sound crazy to a sensible person.
For most of the journey, we often felt annoyed, arguing about the remaining distance and the discomfort in the car. I’d had outback road trip memories as a kid and wanted my city-raised children to see the vast open spaces.
At a bird-hide near Forbes, we watched a swamp with bright green water and dead trees. Eager to share Australian folk stories, I confidently told the kids that a mysterious creature lived there — but stumbled when they asked me follow-up questions. Their enthusiasm for the smallest joy blew my mind. At a roadside motel that looked like a movie set, the kids loved being woken by the night trains, cheering each time.
After three days, we reached Broken Hill — a town dominated by a big slag heap (矿渣堆), just as remarkable as I remembered. Surrounded by kilometers of mineral-rich land, its streets imply its mining roots. I feared the mineral museum would bore the kids, but they yelled with joy, thinking it was real-life Minecraft.
The trip wasn’t fantastic — I even complained about hard mattresses on the bed and small towels. But on Easter morning, the kids went wild for a simple egg hunt in our cheap motel room, thrilled to search every corner. I set out to teach the kids about the far reaches of our state, when in fact the kids were the best perspective I could ask for all along.
Why did the author organize the trip?
A.To explore the locals’ unique lifestyle. B.To document the kids’ exposure to nature.
C.To make shared memories for the family. D.To relive the special outback experiences.
What does the underlined word “stumbled” in paragraph 3 probably mean?
A.Reflected on the memories. B.Agreed with their views.
C.Argued about the stories. D.Tripped over my words.
What does the author think of the trip?
A.It is worthwhile despite inconveniences.
B.It went in line with the author’s original plans.
C.It is an ambitious but disappointing attempt.
D.It leaves the family an unpleasant memory.
What key message does the author try to convey through the passage?
A.Travel joy lies in overcoming challenges.
B.City-raised kids can easily adapt to the rural area.
C.The outback offers more unique sights than cities.
D.We gain unexpected insights through kids’ eyes.

根据最后一段“The trip wasn’t fantastic — I even complained about hard mattresses on the bed and small towels. But on Easter morning, the kids went wild for a simple egg hunt in our cheap motel room, thrilled to search every corner. I set out to teach the kids about the far reaches of our state, when in fact the kids were the best perspective I could ask for all along. (这次旅行并不精彩——我甚至抱怨床上的硬床垫和小毛巾。但在复活节早晨,孩子们在我们廉价的汽车旅馆房间里疯狂地寻找彩蛋,兴奋地搜遍了每一个角落。我本想教孩子们了解我们州最偏远的地方,但实际上,孩子们才是我一直想要得到的最好的视角)”可知,尽管旅行中有诸多不便,但作者认为这次旅行是值得的。故选A。
根据最后一段“I set out to teach the kids about the far reaches of our state, when in fact the kids were the best perspective I could ask for all along. (我本想教孩子们了解我们州最偏远的地方,但实际上,孩子们才是我一直想要得到的最好的视角)”可知,作者通过这次旅行意识到,通过孩子的眼睛,我们获得了意想不到的见解。故选D。
(本题10分)Budweiser partnered with China Internet giant Tencent to conduct and publish a white paper titled “Are Parents Our Outsiders: Annual Survey on WeChat Timelines”. According to the survey, more than half of young Chinese people have blocked their parents from their social media networks, while most parents look forward to reading their children’s online posts.
Fearing that their parents will not be able to accept their new lifestyles and ambitions, the new generation of Chinese youths are increasingly hiding their lives and dreams away from their family members. They are afraid their lifestyles will be misread by their parents, so they choose to block their parents out of their social lives. In doing so, they fail to see how much effort parents can make to bridge the gap between different generations.
But at the same time, nearly 80 percent of parents said they were willing and ready to fully support their children’s life pursuits. The results of this survey revealed the misunderstanding and discrepancy between the younger generations of Chinese people and their parents. So maybe now is the time for us to ask: shouldn’t we start inviting our parents back into our lives and show them our appreciation?
“More and more young people are breaking the limits of tradition and bravely pursuing their dreams. They might fail, however, to notice that their parents are always supporting them,” says Matt Che, marketing vice-president of Budweiser. “We can see the importance of cross-generational communication between parents and children. The love and care in Chinese families are the most valuable support we have on our journey to self-realization. I sincerely hope Chinese people everywhere can open their hearts and let their parents in. Show them your gratitude and appreciation.”

A.Make a farther distance.

What is the writer’s purpose of the text?
A.To praise parents’ selfless love.
B.To show young people’s bad habits.

D.To advise better cross-generational talk.

根据第二段中“They are afraid their lifestyles will be misread by their parents, so they choose to block their parents out of their social lives.(他们担心自己的生活方式会被父母误解,因此选择将父母排除在自己的社交生活之外。)”
根据第二段中“They are afraid their lifestyles will be misread by their parents, so they choose to block their parents out of their social lives. In doing so, they fail to see how much effort parents can make to bridge the gap between different generations.(他们害怕自己的生活方式会被父母误解,所以选择将父母排除在自己的社交生活之外。这样一来,他们就看不到父母为bridge the gap所能够付出的努力。)”可知,年轻人会在社交媒体上屏蔽父母,因此和父母之间存在代际差异,此处“bridge the gap”本意是“架桥”,结合下文“between different generations(不同代际之间)”可知,此处引申义是“缩小代际差异、消除代际隔阂”,故选C。
30.推理判断题。根据第三段中“The results of this survey revealed the misunderstanding and discrepancy between the younger generations of Chinese people and their parents.(此次调查的结果揭示了中国年轻一代与他们的父母之间的误解和差异。)”
根据文章内容和最后一段“We can see the importance of cross-generational communication between parents and children. The love and care in Chinese families are the most valuable support we have on our journey to self-realization. I sincerely hope Chinese people everywhere can open their hearts and let their parents in. Show them your gratitude and appreciation.(我们可以看到,父母与子女之间跨代沟通的重要性。中国家庭中的爱与关怀是我们实现自我价值之旅中最有价值的支持力量。我衷心希望全国各地的中国人能够敞开心扉,让父母走进自己的生活。向他们表达你的感激和敬意。)”可知,文章介绍调查结果后,结尾呼吁年轻人打开心扉,让父母进入自己的生活,强调跨代沟通的重要性,因此写作目的是呼吁更好的跨代交流,故选D。
(本题10分)As a youth mental health crisis persists in the US, a new report highlights a significant gap between the level of support that teenagers feel and the amount that parents think their children have. Only about a quarter of teens said they always get the social and emotional support they need, but parents were nearly three times more likely to think they did. The findings are based on nationally representative surveys of nearly 1,200 children aged 12 to 17 and their parents.
The study authors note that the presence of an interviewer may have biased parents to respond more favorably. There also may be a disconnect between the support parents think they’re offering and the type that their teenage children are seeking. A parent’s first instinct is often to provide advice or guidance, while teens tend to want empathy and reassurance.
The new report shows that teens who did not feel that they always or usually had the support they needed were significantly more likely to report a number of poor health effects than those who did feel supported. Depression and anxiety were nearly three times more common among teenagers who did not feel emotionally supported than among those who did; nearly a third of those who did not feel supported reported symptoms like poor sleep, poor health or low life satisfaction.
Experts say it’s important for adults to make intentional time to connect with teenagers in their life. This is especially true in the age of technology and social media. “Often, supporting teenagers is as simple as being curious about what they bring our way and then offering empathy,” Damour said. “Take comfort in the knowledge that helping a teenager feel heard and understood is overwhelmingly the most useful and therapeutic thing an adult can do.”
How does the author present the issue in the first paragraph?
A.By providing statistics. B.By giving examples.
C.By quoting an expert. D.By explaining a concept.
Why does the gap on support exist between parents and teenagers?
A.They both have a strong bias. B.They define support in different ways.
C.They both have high expectations. D.They avoid communication with each other.
What can we learn about the findings?
A.Teens feeling supported are healthier.
B.Parents usually ignore teens’ mental health.
C.Emotional support makes no sense to teens’ health.
D.A third of the teens experience low life satisfaction.
What does Damour suggest parents do to narrow the gap?
A.Offer timely medical treatment. B.Fix time to lecture teens.
C.Be a good listener with curiosity. D.Meet teens’ physical needs.

根据第一段中的“Only about a quarter of teens said they always get the social and emotional support they need, but parents were nearly three times more likely to think they did. The findings are based on nationally representative surveys of nearly 1,200 children aged 12 to 17 and their parents.(只有大约四分之一的青少年表示他们总能获得所需的社交和情感支持,但父母认为孩子能获得支持的比例几乎是前者的三倍。该研究结果基于对近1200名12至17岁儿童及其父母的全国代表性调查。)”可知,作者通过提供调查数据来呈现这一问题。故选A项。
根据第二段中的“There also may be a disconnect between the support parents think they’re offering and the type that their teenage children are seeking. A parent’s first instinct is often to provide advice or guidance, while teens tend to want empathy and reassurance.(父母认为自己提供的支持与青少年寻求的支持类型之间可能存在脱节。父母的第一反应通常是提供建议或指导,而青少年往往想要共情和安慰。)”可知,父母和青少年对支持的定义和需求不同,因此存在认知差距。故选B项。
34.细节理解题。根据第三段中的“The new report shows that teens who did not feel that they always or usually had the support they needed were significantly more likely to report a number of poor health effects than those who did feel supported.(新报告显示,与那些感受到支持的青少年相比,那些觉得自己没有得到所需支持的青少年出现多种不良健康问题的概率要高得多。)” 故选A项。
根据第四段中的““Often, supporting teenagers is as simple as being curious about what they bring our way and then offering empathy,” Damour said. “Take comfort in the knowledge that helping a teenager feel heard and understood is overwhelmingly the most useful and therapeutic thing an adult can do.”(达莫尔表示:“通常,支持青少年其实很简单,就是对他们所表达的内容抱有好奇,然后给予共情。要明白,让青少年感觉自己被倾听、被理解,几乎是成年人能做的最有用、最有疗愈效果的事,这一点能给我们带来慰藉。”)”可知,达穆尔建议父母做一个充满好奇的倾听者。故选C项。

【导语】文章主要介绍了青少年与父母沟通存在困难的现状,并给出了选择合适沟通时机、使用正确表述方式、学会倾听、保持冷静等有效改善亲子沟通的方法。
【详解】36.上文“Communicating with parents is not always easy, especially when you are a teenager... small disagreements can quickly turn into big arguments.(青少年和父母沟通并不容易,小分歧很容易演变成激烈争吵)”点明亲子沟通的难题,B选项“Many of us find it hard to talk to our parents.(我们很多人都觉得和父母沟通很困难)”承接上文,对前文的沟通困境进行总结呼应;同时下文“Here are some ways to help you communicate better with your parents.(这里有一些帮助你更好地和父母沟通的方法)”顺势引出解决办法,起到承上启下的作用。
37.本段核心主旨是选择合适的沟通时机,下文“If your parents are busy, tired, or in a bad mood, they are less likely to listen carefully.(如果父母忙碌、疲惫或心情不好,就很难认真倾听)”点明了不合适的沟通场景。A选项“Don’t try to bring up a serious topic when your parents are busy.(不要在父母忙碌的时候提出严肃的话题)”贴合段落主旨,具体阐释了何为错误的沟通时机,与下文负面场景描述相呼应。
38.本段主题是沟通时用“我”句式替代“你”句式,下文“For example, instead of saying “You never listen to me,” try saying “I feel hurt when I am not heard.”(比如说,不要说“你从来都不听我的话”,试着换成“没人听我说话的时候,我会觉得很难过”)”举例对比了两种句式的不同表达效果。
39.上文“Third, listen as much as you speak.(第三,倾听和表达同样重要)”提出听与说同等主要,下文“ Sometimes, your parents are not just telling you what to do — they are sharing their own worries and experiences. Try to understand their side.(有时候父母不只是在告诉你该做什么,他们也在倾诉自己的烦恼与过往经历。试着站在他们的角度去理解)”呼吁站在父母的角度去理解他们——他们也需要倾诉,F选项“Try to see things from your parents’ point of view.(试着从父母的角度看问题)”既贴合“听”也呼应下文“Try to understand their side.”。
40.本段主旨是意见不合时也要保持冷静,下文“Take a deep breath before you reply. If you feel the conversation is getting too heated, it is OK to take a short break and continue later.(回复之前先深呼吸。如果你感觉谈话气氛变得过于激烈,不妨短暂暂停,稍后再继续沟通)”介绍了保持冷静的具体做法。C选项“Shouting or getting angry only makes the problem worse.(大喊大叫、发脾气只会让问题更糟)”从反面论证了保持冷静的必要性,与后文平复情绪、缓和沟通氛围的做法形成正反补充。

56.hopes 57.and 58.his 59.to play 60.louder 61.for 62.toys 63.was telling 64.Who 65.a
故填and。

故填was telling。
根据答语“People on the other side of the earth”可知,此处询问“谁”能看到太阳,用特殊疑问词who,句首单词首字母大写。故填Who。
故填a。

Have you ever felt the need to grab a pen and start writing your thoughts on a piece of paper? Tom had always been a lover of stories, and of words that come together to create vivid imagery (意象). He would spend hours writing down his thoughts and ideas, crafting worlds and people with his pen and paper.
But when it came to his parents, they didn’t believe how much he enjoyed writing. In fact, they discouraged him, telling him that he should focus on more practical career fields like becoming a lawyer.
The annual writing competition arrived once again, which was a time to show creative writing as well as the vivid imagination of students. Although Tom had a burning passion for writing, he had always hesitated to enter the race. He was worried that his parents would disapprove of him spending so much time writing, leading him to miss the competition in previous years. But this time, he decided to take a chance and see if he could win this race. Perhaps if his parents saw how talented he truly was, they would come to support him.
Days passed as he carefully prepared his writing, pouring his heart and soul into every word. When he finished, he read it over and felt proud of what he had written. He prepared to hand in his writing, but his parents still believed he was wasting time. He still decided to submit his entry anyway.
Weeks went by before the contest’s results were announced. Tom waited anxiously, wondering if his writing was good enough to win a prize. He checked out his mailbox every day after school.
注意:
1. 续写词数应为150左右;
Finally, the day arrived and the winners were announced.

Just then, the door opened and Tom’s parents returned home from work.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
One possible version:
Finally, the day arrived and the winners were announced. His heart raced with anticipation as he nervously scrolled down the list of names. And then he saw it: his name in bold letters was there. Tears filled his eyes as he felt a mixture of joy and relief, and he let out a yell. Winning the race was not only a proof of his writing ability but also a reminder to follow his heart. But he still worried whether his parents would change their attitude and support him.
Just then, the door opened and Tom’s parents returned home from work. Tom quickly gathered himself and went to show them the email, “Mom, Dad, I made it.” His parents looked at him in surprise. “Writing may be a better choice,” Tom exclaimed with determination. His parents’ faces softened as they figured out what happened. His mother gave him a tight hug, “Becoming a lawyer may lead you to a successful life, but passion can lead you to a happy one.” Tom had won not just the race but also his parents’ support.

A.Prepare some cakes for each other.
B.Be quick to follow others’ actions.
C.Sing a song for each other in turn.

A.It is worthwhile despite inconveniences.
B.It went in line with the author’s original plans.

What key message does the author try to convey through the passage?
A.Travel joy lies in overcoming challenges.
B.City-raised kids can easily adapt to the rural area.
C.The outback offers more unique sights than cities.
D.We gain unexpected insights through kids’ eyes.

B.Build a real stone bridge.
C.Narrow generation differences.
D.Set a new communication rule.
What can we infer from the survey?
A.A wide understanding gap exists.
B.Parents ignore kids’ online posts.
C.Parents accept new lifestyles fully.
D.Young people refuse communication.
What is the writer’s purpose of the text?
A.To praise parents’ selfless love.
B.To show young people’s bad habits.
C.To introduce a company’s new survey.
D.To advise better cross-generational talk.

(本题12.5分)Communicating with parents is not always easy, especially when you are a teenager. You may have different opinions, and small disagreements can quickly turn into big arguments. Here are some ways to help you communicate better with your parents.
First, choose the right time to talk. If your parents are busy, tired, or in a bad mood, they are less likely to listen carefully. Wait for a calm moment, like after dinner or on the weekend.

Third, listen as much as you speak. Sometimes, your parents are not just telling you what to do — they are sharing their own worries and experiences. Try to understand their side.
Fourth, stay calm, even when you disagree. Take a deep breath before you reply. If you feel the conversation is getting too heated, it is OK to take a short break and continue later.
A.Don’t try to bring up a serious topic when your parents are busy.

C.Shouting or getting angry only makes the problem worse.
