There are many people. 这里有好多人。
▸ There is/are 表示“某地有某物”，是存在句型。
一、基本用法
There is + 单数名词/不可数名词：某地有一个……
There are + 复数名词：某地有一些……
There is a park in my community. 我的社区里有一个公园。
There are many books in the library. 图书馆里有很多书。
二、is与are的选择
看There后面的第一个名词：
单数名词或不可数名词 → There is
复数名词 → There are
There is a hospital and two parks. （看第一个名词hospital，单数，用is）
There are two parks and a hospital. （看第一个名词parks，复数，用are）
There is a shop and some restaurants. 那里有一家商店和一些餐馆。
三、常见搭配
There is a + 地点名词：There is a hospital. 有一家医院。
There is a + 形容词 + 名词：There is a nice park. 有一个漂亮的公园。
There are + 数量词 + 名词：There are so many books. 有好多书。
