专题03 阅读理解(说明文)
主题01 人与社会——社会服务与人际交往
Passage 1
① The first Starbucks coffee shop opened in 1971 in downtown Seattle, Washington, in the United States. It was a small coffee shop that roasted (烘烤) its own coffee beans. The coffee shop’s business did well. Soon there were more Starbucks stores in Seattle.
②Things did begin to change for the company in 1981. That year, Howard Schultz met the three men who owned Starbucks. Schultz worked in New York for a company that made kitchen equipment. He noticed that Starbucks ordered a large number of special coffee makers, and he wanted to know more about the company. Schultz went to Seattle to see what Starbucks did, and he liked what he saw. He wanted to become part of the company. In 1982, the original Starbucks owners hired (雇佣) Schultz as the company’s head of marketing.
③In 1983, Schultz traveled to Italy. The special atmosphere (气氛) of the coffee bars caught his eyes most. To Schultz, it seemed that Italians spent their daily lives in three places: home, work, and coffee bars. His experience in Italy gave Schultz a new idea for Starbucks back in Seattle.
④ Schultz created an atmosphere for Starbucks coffee shops that was comfortable, and relaxing, and customers everywhere seemed to like it. Between 1987 and 1992, Starbucks opened 150 new stores-and that was only the beginning. In fact, by the year 2000, three new Starbucks stores opened somewhere around the world every day.
⑤Today, Starbucks has thousands of stores, including stores in more than 80 countries. One thing that helps make Starbucks succeed in cities outside the United States is the way Starbucks works with local stores and restaurants. By working together with a store already in the city, Starbucks gets to understand customers in the city. This understanding helps Starbucks open stores in the right places for their customers.

Passage 2
(25-26九上·浙江义乌市丹溪中学·期中)
①Earlier this year, CCTV showed a documentary (纪录片) Heaven and Earth, Heroes Valor. It tells twelve stories of some heroes. They gave their lives in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. Through their stories, people can clearly see what China’s wartime spirit truly means.
②To help young people understand the history better, the documentary team used AI technology. One important way was to use AI to bring back heroes’ images (肖像), especially for those with no photos left. First, the team talked carefully with local old people and collected information about the heroes. Then they drew simple black-and-white pictures. With the information, AI adjusted the pictures to be colorful and detailed images. This new way lets people finally see what the heroes looked like, and helps young people learn about their stories deeply.
③AI was also used in another way—turning photos into videos. For example, Zuo Quan, a general (将军) of the Eighth Route Army, was killed in 1942 and left behind only one family photo. After many times, the team used AI tools to turn this photo into a short video. In the video, Zuo holds his daughter and smiles. His wife looks at the girl with love, and the child looks at her father with bright eyes.
④“This AI video has moved people online,” said Ren, the director. He hopes young people can learn from these heroes. “Young people today may not face war, but they still need belief, love and pride for their country. That’s the true message of these stories.”
⑤With AI technology, the documentary not only keeps the memory of these heroes alive but also brings their stories closer to young people. By showing their faces and courage with AI photos and videos, the documentary helps young people understand the past better and makes them value the life today.

Passage 3
(25-26九上·浙江嘉兴市桐乡市乌镇中学·期中)
Traffic lights are red, yellow and green. They are very important signals (信号). Traffic lights are usually placed at busy street corners to help control traffic. Sometimes, they are on streets near schools and shops, too. Most young children are taught what each of the colored lights means, so everybody can stay safe.
The first traffic signals were used for trains. The signals were put alongside railway tracks (轨道). The color red was used to mean “stop” because it warned people of danger. A red light was also the easiest color to see from a distance. Train drivers could see the “stop” light ahead and had enough time to slow down and stop their trains. A green light was used to mean “take care” and a white light meant “go”.
However, there were many dangerous accidents on the train tracks. Some train drivers thought a star shining in the night sky was a white light that meant “go”. So the signals were swapped. The “go” light was changed to green and the “take care” light was changed to white.
During these times, people travelled by train or in carts pulled by horses. Years later, when cars were built, people began to drive them because they could travel much faster than horses. However, the road rules for drivers were not very clear and many people were hurt crossing the roads. Yellow warning signs had to be placed beside the roads to remind drivers to take care and allow people to cross safely.
Today, towns and cities all over the world have traffic lights. Red and green lights match the signals used on the railways. Yellow lights are easy to see, so they are used to warn drivers that they should slow down and prepare to stop.
1.Why was the color red used to mean “stop”?
A.It reminded people of traffic rules.
B.It helped trains run smoothly.
C.It gave people a warning of danger.
D.It was the first color people thought of.
2.What does the underlined word “swapped” in Paragraph 3 mean?
A.Designed. B.Exchanged. C.Suggested. D.Compared.
3.In which order did the “take care” light develop?
a. A white light b. A green light c. A yellow light
A.a-c-b B.b-c-a C.a-b-c D.b-a-c
4.What is the passage mainly about?
A.The advantages of traffic lights.
B.The history of traffic lights.
C.The importance of traffic lights.
D.The meanings of traffic lights.
【答案】1.C 2.B 3.D 4.B

【详解】
1.根据第二段第三句“The color red was used to mean ‘stop’ because it warned people of danger.”可知,红色被用来表示“停止”是因为它能警告人们危险。
2.根据第二段末尾可知最初绿灯表示“take care”,白灯表示“go”;而第三段画线词后提到“The "go" light was changed to green and the “take care” light was changed to white”,即绿灯和白灯表示的含义发生了互换。
3.根据第二段“A green light was used to mean ‘take care’”可知最初是绿灯(b);根据第三段“the ‘take care’ light was changed to white”可知后来变成了白灯(a);根据第四段“Yellow warning signs... to remind drivers to take care”可知最后变成了黄灯(c)。

Passage 1
(25-26九上·浙江金华市东阳市·期中)
①In her diary, on 17 May 2157, Margie wrote: “Today. Tommy found a real book!”
②It was a very old book. They turned the old, yellow pages. It was strange to read the words. They stood still on the pages, instead of moving across a screen.
③ “What a waste!” said Tommy. “When you finish the book, you just throw it away, I guess. Our television screen must have a million books on it! I wouldn’t throw it away.”
④Margie asked. “What’s the book about?”
⑤ “School.”
⑥ “Why would anyone write about school?”
⑦ “Because it’s an old kind of school, from hundreds of years ago. They had a teacher, but it was a person. There was a special building, and all the kids and teachers went there.”
⑧Margie wanted to read about those funny schools. But her mother called, “Margie! School!”
⑨Margie’ s classroom was right next to her bedroom. Her teacher was a machine. It was on and waiting for her. The screen was lit up. The machine said: “Today’ s lesson is on maths. Please put yesterday’s homework in the opening.”
⑩Margie did so sadly. She was thinking about the old schools. All the kids from the neighbourhood came, and laughed and shouted in the playground. They sat together in the classroom, and went home together after school.
⑪And the teachers were people...
⑫Margie was thinking about how the students must have loved school in the old days. She was thinking about the fun they had.

Passage 2
(25-26九上·浙江温州市永嘉县·期中)
①Have you ever been doing something you like, and then noticed that a long time has passed? Have you ever been so focused (专注的) on a task that you stopped noticing what was happening? If you answered yes, you’ve probably experienced a special state of mind known as “flow”.
②Flow happens when you are completely focused on an activity. The key is to find a good balance (平衡). If the activity is too easy, you might get bored. If it is too hard, you might feel stressed. Just imagine a student who solves a difficult maths problem without noticing the noise around them. He is experiencing flow.
③When you are in flow, several things happen. You pay close attention, and outside distractions (干扰) seem to disappear. Time may feel like it passes very quickly. You also stop caring about what other people might think and put all your attention into what you are doing. This state is not just about trying hard to focus; it feels smooth and almost easy, as if what you are doing and your mind are working together.
④How can we enter flow faster? Here are some easy steps. First, find a quiet place with few distractions, like a library or a quiet room. Next, set a clear goal and keep your choices simple—for example, when writing, just focus on the main idea. Then, do one thing at a time. Don’t check your phone while working—this helps you stay focused. Also, make sure you rest when you’re tired. Taking short breaks helps you keep your energy up. When you follow these steps, it becomes easier to get into flow and enjoy what you’re doing.
1.How does the writer begin the text?
A.By telling stories. B.By listing numbers.
C.By asking questions. D.By giving examples.
2.What is the key to being in flow according to the text?
A.Setting a very difficult goal. B.Having a quiet environment.
C.Paying attention to the activity. D.Balancing the difficulty and skill.
3.According to the text, which person is most probably in flow?
A.A teacher checking the phone while solving problems.
B.A boy feeling time passes quickly when working hard.
C.A girl singing a song and thinking about others’ opinion.
D.A student reading a book and laughing from time to time.
4.Which shows the correct main idea of each paragraph?
A. B.
C. D.
【答案】1.C 2.D 3.B 4.A

综合各段内容,选项A(①提出话题;②心流的关键因素;③心流的表现;④进入心流的方法)符合各段主旨。故选A。
Passage 3
(25-26九上·浙江杭州市观成实验学校·期中)
A medical achievement in China is giving new hope to people with spinal cord injuries (脊髓损伤). Scientists have created a brain-spinal chip (芯片) that allows paralyzed (瘫痪的) patients to move their legs, and even walk again.
The chip, only 1mm wide, is designed to be fitted into the brain and spinal cord. If the natural communication between the brain and muscles is lost, this chip becomes the bridge. When the chips work, they create a direct connection between the brain and muscles.
The results have been amazing. A 34-year-old man, paralyzed after a fall, could move his legs just one day after the operation on January 8, 2025. Two weeks later, he walked five meters with help. Three other patients had similar operations in February and March, all getting better within weeks. Even though the patients’ nervous systems were damaged, the chips helped them walk again. This marks a big step in China’s progress in medical science and it brings hope for over 3.7 million people in China.
“This is just the beginning,” Jia, the lead researcher, says. “With the technology, these people may one day leave wheelchairs behind after 3 to 5 years of training.”
Behind this achievement is a long journey of careful research and bold thinking. It took the researchers over 10 years to develop the chip. They tested it on animals first, and then on people. They faced many challenges, yet they never gave up. Step by step, they developed a system to reconnect the mind and body in ways once appearing only in science fiction.
As the chip continues to improve, it lights a new path forward—one built on science, shaped by care, and aimed toward a brighter future.

(25-26九上·浙江温州第二中学·期中)
You might be surprised to know that 30% to 45% of English words come from French. Why is that? Let’s go back to the year 1066. That year, Norman armies from northern France took over Britain. The Normans spoke French, and after they took control, French became the language of England’s rulers (统治者) and rich people. This went on for over 300 years. During this time, most ordinary people in England still spoke English.
As the years passed, English and French mixed together, and many French words became part of English. Some researchers say about 10,000 French words finally entered English. But here’s a funny thing: even though English borrowed these words, their meanings often changed. If you use these words the wrong way, you might end up in silly or confusing (令人困惑的) situations.
Take the word “college” for example. In English, we often use “college” to mean “university” or a school inside a university. But in French, “collège” actually means “a junior high school” — the school for students who are around 10 to 14 years old.
There are many more such words. In English, “chat” means “to talk casually (随意地) with someone”, like chatting with friends after class. But in French, “chat” (pronounced “shah”) is the word for a cat — the furry animal that chases mice!
Another example is “jolly”. If an English speaker says “He’s jolly”, it means the person is cheerful and friendly. But in French, “jolie” (with an “ie” at the end) describes someone who is good-looking. Luckily, both meanings are nice — so whether you call someone “jolly” or “jolie”, it’s a kind thing to say!
For English learners, it’s of great importance to pay extra attention to these borrowed words, as their meanings often differ from their original French forms — this way, you can avoid misunderstandings and use them correctly in daily communication.
1.Why did many French words enter the English language?
A.Because Normans brought French to Britain. B.Because French books were popular in England.
C.Because English people travelled to France often. D.Because French was easier to learn than English.
2.What does an Englishman mean if he says he’d like to have a chat?
A.He wants a kind of pet. B.He wants to have a small talk.
C.He prefers to talk in public. D.He’d like to have an interview.
3.Which is the structure of the passage?
A. B. C. D.
4.What is the best title of the passage?
A.Development of English. B.Difficulties in learning English.
C.French words in English. D.Ways to speak English and French.
【答案】1.A 2.B 3.B 4.C

主题01 人与社会——社会服务与人际交往
Passage 1
(25-26九上·浙江温州第二中学·期中)
From social relationships to work challenges, Chinese people are now turning to AI tools like DeepSeek to talk about different personal problems in daily life. They share feelings with the chatbot and get warm feedback (反馈). This is called AI therapy, which is changing people’s way of looking for mental (心理的) health support. But can robots really take the place of human doctors in this field?
Around the world, 45% of people needed mental health care in 2024, but they did not receive it because it was too expensive or there weren’t enough doctors to provide help, according to Huntington Psychological Services. Daniel Lowd, a professor at the University of Oregon, believes AI could help fill this gap (沟). “If people can find some support and ideas by talking to ChatGPT or chatbots, then I think that’s wonderful,” Lowd told Newsweek. Li Yong, a doctor at the Jiangsu Province Hospital, agreed with Lowd, saying that AI meets people’s needs for emotional support to some degree.
However, he points out human touch is important for the mental care service. AI can’t completely replace therapy specialists. Human doctors understand feelings deeply through face-to-face talks and offer more tailored treatment plans—they are specially designed to meet the different needs of people with different problems. That is something robots can’t fully copy. Another problem is safety. AI might act like a therapist if asked, without proper training or rules. It can’t be as responsible as human therapists, either.
Experts (专家) believe that the key to safe AI therapy is strict government control. For example, Wysa, an AI mental health app, follows strict medical standards (标准) in the UK. As AI becomes part of our daily life, finding a balance between its advantages and risks is important. This way, more people can get the mental health support without worrying about possible dangers.
1.How can AI therapy help people?
A.Find a job. B.Look for friends.
C.Treat serious illnesses. D.Make them feel comfortable.
2.What problem can chatbots solve according to Daniel Lowd?
A.Doctors’ long working hours. B.Not enough time to relax.
C.The high cost of going to school. D.The great need for mental health care.
3.The underlined word “tailored” in Paragraph 3 probably means “________”.
A.basic B.personal C.confident D.necessary

Passage 2
(25-26九上·浙江温州第二中学·期中)
Dear passengers! All aboard! Let’s take a ride on the world’s highest railway, the Qinghai-Xizang Railway.
Before we begin our journey, let’s learn about this amazing railway. It’s truly one of the greatest engineering wonders of the 21st century. When it was completed on July 1, 2006, the Qinghai-Xizang Railway set the world records: the world’s highest railway at 5,072 meters above sea level and the world’s highest tunnel (隧道) at 4,905 meters.
Here are a few more things to think about as our train leaves the station. The designers solved three main challenges when building this great railway. First, the high altitude (海拔) made the task difficult because there was not enough oxygen. Second, much of the railway runs across permafrost (多年冻土), a type of ground that keeps changing as the weather warms and cools. Finally, the railway goes through some of the most sensitive ecology (敏感的生态环境) in China. Great care was necessary to make sure that we wouldn’t influence the environment too much.
Now, sit back and enjoy the journey. The scenery along the way is some of the wildest across China. Keep your eyes open as we race through this beautiful land. You might see a chiru (藏羚羊) from your window.
As we travel higher, the air will get thinner and thinner. Soon there will only be 50 to 60 percent of the oxygen (氧气) which is used for breathing. But don’t be afraid. Each railcar has two oxygen systems. One system spreads oxygen throughout the train at all times. And each passenger can also get a personal oxygen mask, just like those used on planes.
Let the wonderful snow-capped mountains and vast grasslands outside the window leave this unforgettable journey in your heart. Wish you a pleasant trip full of surprises and wonderful memories all the way!

Passage 2
(25-26九上·浙江杭州市西湖区五校·期中)
How do blind people get around safely? Some people use special guide dogs. A well-trained dog knows how to help its owner cross busy streets and get from place to place. Some people use long white canes (手杖) to help them get around.
Guide dogs and canes are useful, but there must be a better way for blind people to get around. A scientist in England thought so. His name is Waters and he studies bats (蝙蝠). He knows that bats are able to fly in the dark. Besides, he knows that bats go by using sound to see. Dr. Waters wondered if people could do something similar.
Bats make sounds as they fly. These sounds travel in waves in the air. When the waves hit an object such as a tree or house, they bounce back. The waves travel back to the bat’s ears. A bat learns the location and shape of objects around it.
Dr. Waters talked to other scientists, including Withington from America and Hoyle from Germany. They worked together and invented a new kind of cane. They called it a “bat cane“ because their idea started with bats. The new cane has a computer in the handle (手柄). The sound waves hit objects and echoes (回声) back. This causes the handle to make sounds, which humans can hear.
With a little training, a person using the cane can easily tell where objects are and can “see“ with sound!

Passage 1
(25-26九上·浙江温州新希望学校·期中)
Almost everyone has dropped some food on the floor and still wanted to eat it. If someone saw you drop it, he or she might have shouted, “3-second rule!” This so-called rule says food is OK to eat if you pick it up in three seconds or less. But is there any real scientific truth behind it?
To find out the answer, Professor Anthony Hilton from Aston University, UK, put this rule to the test with the help of his students. They did a series of experiments to see how quickly bacteria (细菌) can be picked up by food from the floor. They found that food dropped within three seconds is less likely to contain bacteria than if it sits there for a longer time.
For the study, Hilton and his students tested many kinds of foods. They included dry foods like breads and cookies as well as some moist foods like tofu and pudding. They also dropped the food onto different types of flooring, such as carpet, laminate, and tile, to see whether it would lead to different results. In addition, the food was left on the floor from 3 seconds to 30 seconds.
Not surprisingly, the longer the food was on the floor, the more bacteria it collected. And the type of the floor where the dropped food landed also played a role. Bacteria were more likely to transfer from laminate or tile after more than three seconds. The study also found that the wetter the food, the more likely it was to collect bacteria.
Although most people are happy to follow the 3-second rule, eating food dropped on the floor still carries an infection (感染) risk. “It very much depends on which bacteria is on the floor at the time.” Hilton said.
1.When are people most likely to think of the “3-second rule”?
A.When they share food with others. B.When they drop food on the floor.
C.When they cook meals in the kitchen. D.When they buy food from a supermarket.
2.What does the underlined word “moist” in Paragraph 3 most probably mean?
A.Wet and soft. B.Dry and clean. C.Salty and hot. D.Sweet and tasty.
3.According to Hilton’s study, which of the following factors (因素) is NOT mentioned?
A.The kinds of food. B.The sizes of food.
C.The length of time. D.The types of the floor.
4.Which conclusion is TRUE according to the study?
A.It’s always safe to follow the “3-second” rule.
B.Dry foods collect bacteria more easily than moist foods.
C.Foods get the same number of bacteria on different floors.
D.The longer the food stays on the floor, the more bacteria it gets.
【答案】1.B 2.A 3.B 4.D
【导语】本文介绍了“三秒规则”,并介绍英国Aston大学的Hilton教授通过实验验证食物掉落在地上沾染细菌的相关研究。

2.第三段“They included dry foods like breads and cookies as well as some moist foods like tofu and pudding.”,由as well as可知moist和dry是对比关系,dry表示干燥的,因此moist意为湿且柔软的。
3.第三段“Hilton and his students tested many kinds of foods.”提到食物种类;“They also dropped the food onto different types of flooring”提到地板类型;“the food was left on the floor from 3 seconds to 30 seconds”提到停留时长,全文没有提到食物的大小。
4.第四段“Not surprisingly, the longer the food was on the floor, the more bacteria it collected.”,说明食物在地上停留时间越长,沾染的细菌就越多。
Passage 2
(25-26九上·浙江温州龙港·期中)
It was one early morning of Grain in Ear. Lively birds sang sweetly in the tree. Villagers hurried to the fields. Under the blue sky, golden fields shone like the sun. The wind came, bringing a sweet smell into the air. Men and women were busy cutting the wheat. Children ran behind, trying to help. This is one of the best memories (回忆) of my childhood.
I grew up in the countryside of Shandong Province. Most of the villagers there lived by farming. The 24 Solar Terms were very important to them. The changes of terms guided both their farming activities and daily lives. The terms helped them understand why things happened at certain times, and what they should do. When I grew up and left my hometown, the 24 Solar Terms followed me. I always feel excited when a new term is near. I really wanted to share these feelings in my paintings and poems.
I didn’t know how popular the paintings would become. I’m so happy that many people, especially the young, are showing new interest in the ancient wisdom (智慧). In the hundreds of reviews of my works, they share their memories and feelings. Now many people may be moving away from farming. However, the ancient way of dividing time stays close to our hearts.
The 24 Solar Terms are known as the “Fifth Great Invention of China”. They help people understand why nature works this way. Besides, there are some social and cultural meanings in the 24 Solar Terms. People celebrate the coming of them with traditional activities. For example, many people still eat spring pancakes at Start of Spring and dumplings at Start of Winter. The 24 Solar Terms have never disappeared from the life of Chinese people.

Passage 3
(25-26九上·浙江金华市永康第三中学·期中)
A grey cat looks at a nearby orange cat quietly. She squints (眯) her eyes, and licks her lips. The orange cat looks back and wrinkles (皱起) his nose. Cat people know what’s about to go next: a fight. Have you ever noticed a cat’s face and wondered what it is thinking?
Lauren Scott is a cat person. She has wondered how cats communicate with one another. In 2021, she was studying at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Scott and her partners visited a local cat café over several months to record videos of 53 cats, collecting 194 minutes of videos. They found that the cats have 276 different expressions. “Each expression was a mixture (结合) of different facial movements,” said the scientists. They also found cats use 26 of these facial movements in total. They can be mixed to express how they are feeling.
Of all the expressions they recorded, around 45% were friendly and 37% were angry. “A friendly cat moves its ears and whiskers (胡须) forward and closes its eyes. However, an angry cat often gets its ears close to its head, makes its eyes smaller and licks its lips,” said the team.
The scientists aren’t sure what the cats tried to communicate with each other by using their faces, but they still plan to study cats in other places to improve their understanding. They also hope that the research could help pet owners and animal shelters (收容所) care for and understand cats better. Some pet owners even suggest that the scientists should develop an app for them to find out what their cats’ facial expressions really mean.

C.AI is widely used in our daily life. D.It’s hard to stay safe in wartime.

A.A teacher checking the phone while solving problems.
B.A boy feeling time passes quickly when working hard.
C.A girl singing a song and thinking about others’ opinion.
D.A student reading a book and laughing from time to time.
4.Which shows the correct main idea of each paragraph?
A. B.
C. D.
1.What do we know about the chips mentioned in the passage?
A.They are only as wide as 5mm.
B.They are fitted into the man’s arms.
C.They help the patients walk again.
D.They improve the patients’ memory.
2.Which of the following meanings is suitable for the underlined word “bold”?
(From the dictionary)
A.1. B.2. C.3. D.4.
3.What is the writer’s main reason for writing this passage?
A.To recommend a science story.
B.To report a pioneer doctor in medicine.
C.To compare different treatments.
D.To introduce a new medical success.
4.What would be the best title of this passage?
A.China’s Chips Bring New Hope B.Future of China’s Medical Science
C.Science Fiction Changes Our Lives D.Challenges for Chinese Scientists

Passage 3

4.What do experts think about “AI therapy”?
A.It is good but needs strong control.
B.It brings more risks than advantages.
C.It will completely change the medical standards.
D.There is no need to worry about possible dangers.
1.How does the passage show the railway is amazing in Paragraph 2?
A.By telling stories. B.By designers’ words. C.By listing records. D.By asking questions.
2.Why is permafrost a challenge for railway building?
A.It is the coldest area in China. B.It is home to many wild animals.
C.It changes with the temperature. D.It is the highest ground in China.
3.Which statement is TRUE according to the passage?
A.The railway was built without influencing the environment.
B.Each railcar of the train has three different oxygen systems.
C.The Qinghai-Xizang Railway was completed in June, 2006.

1.What helps the blind go across busy streets?
A.A bat. B.A black cane. C.A computer. D.A well-trained dog.
2.Why did scientists call this new kind of cane a “bat cane”?

3.What can we infer from the passage about the “bat cane”?
A.It is very heavy and difficult to use.
B.It requires special training to be used effectively.
C.It makes the blind person’s life more fashionable.
D.It was invented by a single scientist from England.
4.What is the author’s main purpose in writing this passage?
A.To explain why bats fly in the dark.
B.To advise people to keep guide dogs.
C.To introduce a new high-tech tool for the blind.
D.To describe the difficulties blind people face.

1.Which picture is about Grain in Ear?
A. B.
C. D.
2.Why were the 24 Solar Terms important in the writer’s hometown?
A.Because they were a guide for farming. B.Because they were a symbol of ancient art.
C.Because they described the change of moon. D.Because they explained the signs of weather.
3.What can we learn about the 24 Solar Terms?
A.Young people have a new interest in them. B.They are the Sixth Great Invention of China.
C.Their traditional activities have changed a lot. D.Many people begin to draw pictures about them.
4.What’s the purpose of the passage?
A.To ask people to experience country life. B.To share popular paintings and poems.
C.To tell the problems farmers are facing. D.To show the Chinese ancient wisdom.
