Dear Editor,
Social advances, a force that reshape ordinary people’s material conditions, have brought remarkable improvements to people’s daily lifestyles. Highspeed trains, shared bikes and other modern transport facilities simplify people’s journeys, more sports resources offering ordinary citizens easy access to physical training and outdoor pursuits. Such social advancement gives full expression to the unit theme“On the move”, one calling for energetic and forwardlooking outlooks on life.
The truth that many teenagers slip into undesirable living patterns exists amid such social progress. Burdened with heavy schoolwork and drawn to a wide range of online recreations, the majority tend to stay indoors for long periods rather than getting involved in outdoor physical activity. A largely indoor way of life, which steals chances for body exercise, weakens physical condition, taking away young people’s inner drive and mental energy.
As one of young learners, I hold the view that young generations ought to commit themselves to building sound lifestyles. Gone are the days when teenagers can ignore physical exercise for the sake of school tasks. Those who leave their comfort zones and keep doing physical activities can build solid physical strength. Proper use of modern conveniences, which helps arrange daily affairs well, allows teenagers to strike a good balance among academic work, rest and recreation. Only through active reallife experience can teenagers gain wellrounded personal development and make steady youthful progress.
Yours,
Li Hua

1.D 2.B 3.A 4.C 5.A 6.A 7.C 8.A 9.C 10.B 11.B 12.A 13.B 14.C 15.B
With teenagers’ awareness of selfimprovement, a quality that modern education highly advocates (同位语 + 定语从句), rising, more young people actively participate in various outdoor activities closely related to nature (过去分词作后置定语) ________ their spare life dominated by heavy schoolwork.
【详解】句子拆分 ①With 复合结构:With + 宾语 (awareness) + 宾补 (rising);a quality…advocates 作 selfimprovement 的同位语;that 引导定语从句修饰 quality。 ③dominated by heavy schoolwork 过去分词作后置定语,修饰 spare life。
选项辨析 A adjusted 过去分词,表被动完成;B adjusting 现在分词,表主动伴随;C being adjusted 正在被调整;D to adjust 不定式表目的正好符合题意。
It is persistent exercise together with positive life attitudes that most teenagers are in pursuit of (定语从句) ________ enable teenagers to gain steady physical and mental growth in a society where competition grows increasingly fierce (where 定语从句修饰 society).
【考点】强调句型 It is...that...(必考核心句型)
强调句型 It is…that…。被强调部分:persistent exercise together with positive life attitudes;that most teenagers are in pursuit of 定语从句修饰 attitudes。
选项辨析:A which 不能用于强调句型;B that 强调句专用;C what 不能引导强调结构;D who 仅用于强调人。
Persistent exercise together with positive life attitudes enable teenagers to gain…,符合强调句判定规则。
3.【答案】A
原句
Sports experts, people who have long studied youth physical conditions (同位语 + 定语从句), suggest that teenagers ________ at least one hour every day to exercise to build up their bodies and relieve study pressure which comes from piles of homework and frequent examinations (which 定语从句修饰 pressure).
【详解】句子拆分,①people who…conditions 作 Sports experts 的同位语,who 引导定语从句。
③which comes from…examinations 定语从句修饰 study pressure。
选项 A spend (should) spend,省略 should;B will spend;C spent 过去式;D would spend,所以为A项。
4.【答案】C
原句
________ outdoor sports, an activity requiring self‑protection awareness (同位语,现在分词作后置定语), may bring slight risks once safety rules are ignored,(once 引导条件状语从句), they are extremely beneficial to teenagers’ physical and mental health whose mental state tends to be greatly influenced by heavy academic burdens(whose 定语从句修饰 teenagers).
A Because 因为(原因);B Since 既然 / 由于;C While 尽管(让步);D If 如果(条件)。
5.【答案】A
原句
Regular outdoor exercise, ________ helps teenagers release anxiety accumulated from endless classroom learning (过去分词作后置定语修饰 anxiety), is an essential part of teenagers’ daily life without which their all‑round development can hardly be guaranteed(介词 + which 定语从句).
that不能引导非限制性定语从句,whose表所属,of which结构不符句式,故选A。
选项辨析:A which 非限制性定从指物;B of which 表所属;C whose 作定语后面接名词;D that 不可用于逗号隔开的非限制性定语从句。
6.【答案】A
原句
Only when teenagers stick to daily exercise that calls for continuous efforts (that 定语从句修饰 exercise) ________ they realize the long‑term value of a healthy lifestyle ignored by quite a number of busy students (过去分词后置定语).
Teenagers will realize the long‑term value…only when they stick to daily exercise…,遵循的是“主将从现”原则。 动作表未来产生的结果,选项辨析:A will 将会;B do 一般现在时倒装;C can 能够;D should 应该。故选A。
By the end of next term, our school, which has attached great importance to students’ physical fitness (which 非限制性定语从句), ________ a variety of sports meetings and outdoor activity camps to enrich students’ afterschool life that is usually occupied by endless homework(that 定语从句修饰 life).
【考点】将来完成时(by the end of 时态快速掌握公式)
【详解】句子拆分:which 引导非限制性定语从句修饰 our school;that 引导定语从句修饰 afterschool life。 时间标志:By the end of + 将来时间 (next term),主句时态:将来完成时 will have done。by the end of + 将来时间(next term),主句固定使用将来完成时 will have done,表示“截止将来某一时间已经完成的动作”。
【语法点】:语法溯源 by the end of + 过去时间 → 过去完成时 had done; by the end of + 现在时间 → 现在完成时 have done; by the end of + 将来时间 →将来完成时 will have done。选项辨析 A holds 一般现在;B held 一般过去;C will have held 将来完成;D has held 现在完成。
8.【答案】A
原句
Keeping a balanced diet and doing regular exercise, two habits that shape youngsters’ physical condition (同位语 + 定语从句), is ________ vital part of pursuing a high‑quality modern life for the younger generation buried in academic tasks (过去分词 buried 作后置定语) .
【详解】句子拆分:two habits…condition 作前面两件事的同位语;that 引导定语从句修饰 habits;buried 过去分词修饰 the younger generation。主语:Keeping…and doing… a vital part of 为固定搭配,意为“……
选项辨析:A a;B an(用于元音音素开头单词);C the 特指;D / 零冠词。
The fact ________ outdoor activities can strengthen teenagers’ willpower as well as benefit their comprehensive growth has been widely recognized by educators who devote themselves to youth development (who 定语从句修饰 educators).
选项辨析:A what 在从句充当主 / 宾;B why 表原因;C that 同位语从句引导词;D how 表方式。
Traditional sedentary habits, once popular among students buried indoors for long hours (形容词短语作插入定语;buried 过去分词后置), ________ gradually by active and healthy lifestyles among modern teenagers who attach great importance to physical fitness(who 定语从句修饰 teenagers).
【语法点】:一般现在时被动语态:am/is/are + done。选项辨析:A replace 主动;B are replaced 一般现在被动;C have replaced 主动完成;D replaced 过去式主动。
More and more young people devote their spare time to ________ themselves through outdoor sports and social practice that can broaden horizons for teenagers suffering from narrow campus‑centered life (that 定语从句;suffering 现在分词后置定语) .
固定搭配:devote … to doing sth;to 是介词,后面接动名词。还有固定搭配类似必考结构:be used to doing、look forward to doing、pay attention to doing,故选B。
选项辨析:A experience 动词原形;B experiencing 动名词;C experienced 过去分词;D be experienced。
【命题陷阱】:把devote…to的to 当成不定式符号 to,误选动词原形 A。
12.【答案】A
原句
If teenagers ________ a scientific lifestyle that combines study with physical exercise from an early age (that 定语从句修饰 lifestyle), they will gain lifelong physical and mental benefits that serve them well in their future career and daily life(that 定语从句修饰 benefits).
选项辨析:A develop 一般现在;B developed 一般过去;C have developed 现在完成;D had developed 过去完成(用于虚拟)。
We should regard selfdiscipline and active exploration, two qualities highly valued in youth education (同位语,过去分词 valued 后置), ________ effective ways to improve personal quality for teenagers facing all kinds of challenges in modern society (facing 现在分词后置定语).
【考点】动词成语固定搭配 regard A as B
固定搭配:regard A as B “把 A 看作 B”,意为“把……视作……”,regard...as... 同义替换:treat/view/consider A as B,故选B。
A for;B as;C to;D with。
Researchers, who have carried out masses of surveys among middle-school students (who 非限制性定语从句), are exploring ________ makes active lifestyles so attractive to modern teenagers growing up under great academic pressure(growing 现在分词后置定语).
选项辨析:A that 引导宾从不充当成分;B which 有选择含义;C what 在从句充当成分;D whether 是否。
—I plan to organize a hiking trip for classmates who have suffered long‑time heavy schoolwork (who 定语从句修饰 classmates) to enrich our outdoor experience.
—________. It is a meaningful way to relax and exercise for students worn out by endless learning tasks**(worn out 过去分词后置定语) .
Take it easy放松、No wonder难怪、It depends看情况,均不符合赞美语境,故选B。
选项辨析:A Take it easy 别紧张;B Sounds fantastic 听起来很棒(赞同提议);C No wonder 难怪;D It depends 视情况而定。

56. Motivated 57. to 58. providing 59. to gain 60. proves 61. reflect 62. who 63. are 64. shapes 65. represents
57. to【固定搭配】attach importance to sth.
59. to gain【固定搭配】be likely to do sth.
63. are【主谓一致】主语concepts为复数名词,一般现在时,be动词用are。

66. on → in 固定搭配 play a role in doing sth.
unaware of the fact that...
69. effort后加to 固定短语 spare no effort to do sth.
70. great前加of / great → greatly 固定搭配 be of great benefit to = be greatly beneficial to,两种改法均可,原句缺少句式核心结构。

Yours,
Li Hua
第一段:介绍社会发展带来生活方式改变,自然引出单元主题,搭建文章背景;
第二段:转到青少年现实问题,剖析室内生活带来的双重负面影响;
With the rapid development of society中式开篇;删除while / However / On the one hand…On the other hand显性逻辑连词。
① Social advances, a force that reshape ordinary people’s material conditions (同位语 + 定语从句), have brought remarkable improvements to people’s daily lifestyles.
结构拆解:主语 Social advances;a force…conditions作同位语,解释说明 social advances;that 引导定语从句修饰 a force;谓语 have brought。
的 with 开篇。
② High‑speed trains, shared bikes and other modern transport facilities simplify people’s journeys, more sports resources offering ordinary citizens easy access to physical training and outdoor pursuits
③ Such social advancement gives full expression to the unit theme “On the move”, one calling for energetic and forward‑looking outlooks on life
① The truth that many teenagers slip into undesirable living patterns exists amid such social progress
The truth exists amid such social progress;that 引导同位语从句,完整解释 truth 的全部内容;that 只起引导作用,在从句内部不充当任何句子成分,从句语义完整。
② Burdened with heavy schoolwork and drawn to a wide range of online recreations (过去分词作原因状语), the majority tend to stay indoors for long periods rather than getting involved in outdoor physical activity.
③ A largely indoor way of life, which steals chances for body exercise (非限制性定语从句), weakens physical condition, taking away young people’s inner drive and mental energy (现在分词作结果状语).
1)which 引导非限制性定语从句,先行词 a largely indoor way of life;
语法对比:此处不用不定式 to take away(不定式表目的,会产生 “生活方式刻意去剥夺青少年精力” 的错误主观含义);不用并列谓语 and takes away。
① As one of young learners, I hold the view that young generations ought to commit themselves to building sound lifestyles
I hold the view that young generations ought to commit themselves to building sound lifestyles.
看从句内部缺不缺成分:that young generations ought to commit themselves to building sound lifestyles,可以看出:从句的主语 young generations;谓语 ought to commit;宾语 themselves;to building…
I hold the view that many teenagers fail to follow。that 在从句内部作 follow 的宾语,that 可以换成 which。
② Gone are the days when teenagers can ignore physical exercise for the sake of school tasks (完全倒装句;when 引导定语从句).
The days when…are gone。when 引导定语从句修饰 the days。
③ Those who leave their comfort zones and keep doing physical activities (定语从句), can build solid physical strength.
④ Proper use of modern conveniences, which helps arrange daily affairs well (非限制性定语从句), allows teenagers to strike a good balance among academic work, rest and recreation.
短语重点:strike a good balance among … 之间取得平衡;allow sb to do sth 固定结构。
⑤ Only through active real‑life experience can teenagers gain well‑rounded personal development and make steady youthful progress (only + 介词短语置于句首,主句部分倒装).
Teenagers can gain well‑rounded personal development and make steady youthful progress only through active real‑life experience.
(Gone are the days…)
(Only through…can teenagers…)
介词后接动名词:commit oneself to doing;rather than doing
独立主格错用现在分词,逻辑主语不匹配;
混淆同位语从句、定语从句,that 和 which 误用;
分不清不定式 to do(目的)与现在分词 doing(结果);
commit oneself to doing把介词 to 误当作不定式符号;
Social advances, a force that reshape ordinary people’s material conditions
2.独立主格:more sports resources offering ordinary citizens easy access to physical training and outdoor pursuits
The truth that many teenagers slip into undesirable living patterns;I hold the idea that young generations ought to commit themselves to building sound lifestyles.
Burdened with heavy schoolwork and drawn to a wide range of online recreations
5.现在分词结果状语:taking away young people’s inner drive and mental energy
Gone are the days when…;部分倒装:Only through active reallife experience can teenagers gain…

Sports are an indispensable part of people’s modern life. Different from ancient sports serving labor and military training, modern sports attach greater importance to physical fitness, mental relaxation and personal entertainment. Improved living standards have helped sports evolve into a mainstream lifestyle choice among young people.
Regular sports exercise plays an irreplaceable role in teenagers’ growth. Physical training can strengthen the body, improve immunity and relieve study-induced fatigue. It also reduces anxiety, shapes persistent qualities and cultivates team awareness, which enables teenagers to hold positive attitudes and build self-confidence in daily life.
Modern academic and digital life weakens teenagers’ sports awareness. Heavy learning tasks occupy most daily time, and diversified online entertainments easily capture young people’s attention. Most teenagers prefer indoor relaxation after school, a habit that cuts off systematic physical exercise. Long-term inactivity accounts for declining physical quality and hinders teenagers’ long-term healthy growth.
Joint efforts from schools and families can effectively guide positive habit formation. Rich school sports courses and various competitions provide students with regular exercise opportunities. Family guidance encourages outdoor activities during weekends. Constant integration of sports into daily life guarantees teenagers’ sustainable physical and mental health.

The development of transportation is a vivid symbol of social progress, constantly reshaping people’s travel modes and lifestyles. From ancient walking and horse riding to modern high-speed trains, airplanes and shared transport, travel efficiency has been greatly improved, and people’s living radius has been continuously expanded.
Modern convenient transportation brings numerous benefits to people’s life.
