Suddenly, the phone rang, so I went to the living room to answer the phone. It was my friend. When I returned to the kitchen, I saw smoke everywhere! The water was all gone, and the pot was black. I was really scared and didn’t know what to do. Then, I remembered my parents’ words: “If you have a problem, stay calm.” So, first, I turned off the fire and opened the window. She prepares a lot of food for the whole week. In this way, she doesn’t have to cook every day. How does Chen make it? She buys fresh chicken, beef, fish, and lots of vegetables. She cleans and cuts them into pieces. Then she cooks the food. After that, she divides the food into seven parts, puts them in special dishes, and freezes (冷冻贮藏) them in the fridge. When she wants to eat, she just needs to heat the food up. Many people in cities are doing the same thing as Chen. They call it “dongmen”, which helps them save time and money. In this way, they can eat healthy, homemade food instead of eating outside. Another person who loves dongmen is Tu Hongyu. She is a single mom in Chongqing. Her daughter is very picky about food and only likes homemade dishes. Tu started cooking and freezing food in advance. She can quickly reheat the food in just 15 minutes. Tu shared her dongmen experience on Xiaohongshu. Her video got lots of views and likes. Now she has many followers who enjoy her recipes and tips. She tells people which vegetables are good for freezing and how to store food properly. Some people worry that frozen food might lose nutrients (营养素). But for busy workers, the convenience and cost-saving are more important. Chen used to spend a lot of money on takeout. Now she can make a healthy lunch for just 10 yuan. A nutritionist named Xu Minjie says that dongmen is healthy. Freezing food doesn’t lose many nutrients. Vegetables might lose a little bit of vitamins (维生素), but their fiber and minerals stay the same. To keep the food fresh, she suggests using the freezing food as soon as possible. 34. How does the writer begin this passage? A. By using a saying. B. By comparing facts. C. By asking a question. D. By giving an example 35. What’s the right order of making “dongmen”? A. ①②③④. B. ①④③②. C. ①④②③. D. ①②④③. 36. Which of the following is NOT the reason for people to choose “dongmen”? A. It’s healthy. B. It saves time. C. It saves money. D. It has more nutrients 37. What is the main purpose of the passage? A. To introduce a popular eating style. B. To share some special recipes. C. To show the dangers of the frozen food. D. To encourage readers to live a green life. 【答案】34. D 35. B 36. D 37. A 【解析】 【导语】本文介绍了一种名为“冻门”的饮食方式,即提前做好一周的食物并冷冻保存,以便节省时间和金钱。 【34题详解】 文章第1段“Every Sunday evening, when the sun goes down in Shenzhen, Chen Jiamin gets busy in her kitchen. She prepares a lot of food for the whole week.”可推知,作者通过讲述陈佳敏每周日提前备餐的具体事例引入话题,是以举例子的方式开篇。 【35题详解】 文章第2段“She cleans and cuts them into pieces. Then she cooks the food. After that, she divides the food into seven parts, puts them in special dishes, and freezes them in the fridge.”可推知,制作“冻门”的步骤依次为:切配食材(图①)、烹饪食物(图④)、分装餐食(图③)、放入冰箱冷冻(图②),正确顺序是①④③②。 【36题详解】 文章第3段“which helps them save time and money. In this way, they can eat healthy, homemade food instead of eating outside.”以及第7段“Freezing food doesn’t lose many nutrients. Vegetables might lose a little bit of vitamins”可推知,人们选择“冻门”的原因包括健康、省时、省钱,冷冻食物中的蔬菜可能会损失一点维生素,而不是含有更多营养,因此D项不属于人们选择它的原因。 【37题详解】 通读全文可推知,文章围绕“冻门”这种提前备餐冷冻的新型饮食方式展开,介绍了其制作流程、受欢迎的原因以及营养相关内容,核心目的是向读者介绍这种流行的饮食方式。 C Almost everyone has dropped some food on the floor and still wanted to eat it. If someone saw you drop it, he or she might have shouted, “3-second rule!” This so-called rule says food is OK to eat if you pick it up in three seconds or less. But is there any real scientific truth behind it? To find out the answer, Professor Anthony Hilton from Aston University, UK, put this rule to the test with the help of his students. They did a series of experiments to see how quickly bacteria (细菌) can be picked up by food from the floor. They found that food dropped within three seconds is less likely to contain bacteria than if it sits there for a longer time. For the study, Hilton and his students tested many kinds of foods. They included dry foods like breads and cookies as well as some moist foods like tofu and pudding. They also dropped the food onto different types of flooring, such as carpet, laminate, and tile, to see whether it would lead to different results. In addition, the food was left on the floor from 3 seconds to 30 seconds. Not surprisingly, the longer the food was on the floor, the more bacteria it collected. And the type of the floor where the dropped food landed also played a role. Bacteria were more likely to transfer from laminate or tile after more than three seconds. The study also found that the wetter the food, the more likely it was to collect bacteria. Although most people are happy to follow the 3-second rule, eating food dropped on the floor still carries an infection (感染) risk. “It very much depends on which bacteria is on the floor at the time.” Hilton said. 38. When are people most likely to think of the “3-second rule”? A. When they share food with others. B. When they drop food on the floor. C. When they cook meals in the kitchen. D. When they buy food from a supermarket. 39. What does the underlined word “moist” in Paragraph 3 most probably mean? A. Wet and soft. B. Dry and clean. C. Salty and hot. D. Sweet and tasty. 40. According to Hilton’s study, which of the following factors (因素) is NOT mentioned? A. The kinds of food. B. The sizes of food. C. The length of time. D. The types of the floor. 41. Which conclusion is TRUE according to the study? A. It’s always safe to follow the “3-second” rule. B. Dry foods collect bacteria more easily than moist foods. C. Foods get the same number of bacteria on different floors. D. The longer the food stays on the floor, the more bacteria it gets. 【答案】38. B 39. A 40. B 41. D 【解析】 【导语】本文介绍了“三秒规则”,并介绍英国Aston大学的Hilton教授通过实验验证食物掉落在地上沾染细菌的相关研究。 【38题详解】 第一段提到Almost everyone has dropped some food on the floor and still wanted to eat it. If someone saw you drop it, he or she might have shouted, ‘3-second rule!’”,说明当人们把食物掉在地上时,就会想到 “三秒规则”。 【39题详解】 第三段“They included dry foods like breads and cookies as well as some moist foods like tofu and pudding.”,由as well as可知moist和dry是对比关系,dry表示干燥的,因此moist意为湿且柔软的。 【40题详解】 第三段“Hilton and his students tested many kinds of foods.”提到食物种类;“They also dropped the food onto different types of flooring”提到地板类型;“the food was left on the floor from 3 seconds to 30 seconds”提到停留时长,全文没有提到食物的大小。 【41题详解】 第四段“Not surprisingly, the longer the food was on the floor, the more bacteria it collected.”,说明食物在地上停留时间越长,沾染的细菌就越多。 D Taylor was unhappy as she looked out of her window. The sun of the early morning was rising, but her mother’s important daisy garden was all broken. Buttermilk, the family cow, was standing in the middle of the poor flowers. “I must have forgotten to lock the gate last night.” Taylor thought, feeling deeply sorry. Her mother was planning to sell these daisies at the market next week to help the family. Taylor rushed downstairs to lead Buttermilk back to the field. However, just as she was about to act, the family dog, Red, appeared. The cow, afraid of Red, suddenly ran wildly through the garden, breaking most of the remaining daisies before rushing out through the open gate. Taylor’s mother came out and saw the mess. Though Taylor apologised with a heavy heart, her mother gently hugged her and said, “I know you’re sorry. What matters is that you learn from this.” Taylor knew an “I’m sorry” wasn’t enough. She wanted to make it up to her mother. Then, an idea came to her when she saw a painting on the wall. She loved art and decided to use her talent. For the next several days, Taylor worked hard in her room. Brush in hand, she painted one bright and cheerful daisy after another. She didn’t just copy flowers; she tried to capture the hope and beauty. By the end of the week, her room was filled with lots of beautiful daisy paintings. On the morning of the market, as her mother was putting the few living daisies into the truck, Taylor invited her mother upstairs. She opened the bedroom door. The field of painted daisies shining in the morning light met her mother’s eyes. “Do you think anyone will buy them?” Taylor asked nervously. Her mother smiled, “Oh, sweetie, yes. I’m sure they will. You have helped me a lot.” 42. What was the main problem Taylor met at the beginning of the story? A. Mom’s daisy garden was broken. B. The cow fought with the dog. C. Her parents wanted her to help them. D. She locked the door to the daisy garden. 43. How did Taylor deal with the problem? ①She tried to drive the cow out of the daisy garden. ②She kept some of the daisies by herself. ③She said sorry to her mum. ④She drew many daisies for her mum. A. ①②③ B. ②③④ C. ①③④ D. ①②④ 44. What can we infer from the mother’s reply at the end of the story? A. She believed Taylor would be a painter. B. She still felt disappointed about the garden. C. She thought the paintings warmed her heart. D. She planned to help Taylor sell the paintings. 45. What can we learn from Taylor? A. Listening to parents carefully is important. B. Solving a problem with creativity is helpful. C. Painting is more useful than growing flowers. D. Asking for help is the key to solving problems. 【答案】42. A 43. C 44. C 45. 【42题详解】 第一段“her mother’s important daisy garden was all broken”表明,故事开头Taylor遇到的主要问题是妈妈的雏菊花园被毁坏了。 【43题详解】 第三段“Taylor rushed downstairs to lead Buttermilk back to the field. However, just as she was about to act, the family dog, Red, appeared.”、第四段“Though Taylor apologised with a heavy heart”以及第六段“Brush in hand, she painted one bright and cheerful daisy after another”表明,Taylor试图采取行动将牛带离花园、向妈妈道歉、画雏菊画,这些都是她处理问题的方式,①③④符合。 【44题详解】 根据最后一段“Her mother smiled, ‘Oh, sweetie, yes. I’m sure they will. You have helped me a lot.’”,结合前文Taylor用充满心意的雏菊画作弥补过错的情节可推知,妈妈被Taylor的用心打动,认为这些雏菊画温暖了她的心。 【45题详解】 第五段“She loved art and decided to use her talent.”介绍Taylor在遇到问题时想到用自己的绘画才能来弥补,结合她创作雏菊画弥补过错的情节,可推断出用创造力解决问题是有帮助的。 四、任务型阅读(本题共5小题,第46-49题,每小题0.5分,第50题1分,共3分) Along the River During the Qingming Festival is a very famous Chinese painting. D Taylor was unhappy as she looked out of her window. 四、任务型阅读(本题共5小题,第46-49题,每小题0.5分,第50题1分,共3分) Along the River During the Qingming Festival is a very famous Chinese painting.
