My Favourite Painter
Vincent van Gogh is my favourite painter. Born in the Netherlands in 1853, he created many famous works, such as The Starry Night and Sunflowers. In spite of his struggles with mental illness and poverty during his lifetime, his paintings are now celebrated worldwide for their bold colours and emotional depth.
I admire Van Gogh because his art expresses strong feelings. The swirling skies in The Starry Night and the bright yellow petals in Sunflowers show his unique style and passion for nature. His life story also inspires me — despite difficulties, he never gave up his dream. Through his paintings, I learn that art can convey powerful emotions and connect people across time.

A Visit to a Digital Exhibition
Last Saturday, all the seniors of our school visited a digital exhibit, A Panorama of Rivers and Mountain 3.0, which is a perfect combination of traditional art techniques and innovative digital technology.
The exhibit hosted by the City Art Gallery, enjoyed tremendous popularity among us. The highly immersive experience allowed us to admire one of the most treasured arts from the Song Dynasty with our own eyes. The highlight was the real-time interaction, enabling us to soak in the vast and gorgeous scenery in person.
This experience will stick in our minds, for we feel both the charm of the magnificent Chinese landscape and high-tech.
