高三英语诊断练习 听力原文与参考答案 第一部分 听力(共两节,满分30分) 第一节 (共5小题;每小题1.5分,满分7.5分) 1.C M: How much does a one-way ticket cost from London to York? W: Start from £15 when you book in advance, up to £45 on the day of departure. M: I can’t get the discount then. W: I’m afraid so. 2.A M: Did you buy that dress, Sophie? W: Unfortunately not, Luke. They had one in my size, but when I looked at the price, I realized that I couldn’t really afford it. It was such a pity as it looked really good on me. 3.B M: Did you get your living room painted, Lydia? W: No, Peter. I’ve bought all the paint, but I’m still looking for someone to paint it. M: You know that I’m always here to help. I’m not a professional, but I’m sure I can do a good job. 4.B W: What did you think of the geography trip? M: I felt it lived up to my expectations. As far as the coursework we did was concerned, I really feel I know what I’m doing now. W: I felt the same way. 5.A W: I think we’re almost ready for the presentation tomorrow. Just a few more things. The meeting will start at 9 sharp. So could you double-check the meeting room today? M: Yes, I’ll go right away. 6.C 7.B W: Have you tried that new restaurant, Paul? The review I read said it was really good. M: It must have been the same review I read. That’s why I went last night. I was disappointed, though, Beth. The service was very slow, and the music was too loud. As for the food, I didn’t think it was anything special. W: I was thinking of going there for my birthday dinner. Maybe I’ll choose somewhere else instead. M: I can recommend a small Italian place nearby. The atmosphere is much better, and the food is excellent. 8.A 9.C 10.A W: I loved the architecture, didn’t you? M: It was so unusual. I mean, when you think of what’s being put up in cities nowadays, you know, all the shopping centers and places, then you wonder whether anyone actually bothers to design buildings like that anymore. W: That’s right. And the atmosphere inside was just so quiet — you could really take your time admiring everything on display. Those 18th-century vases were absolutely brilliant. You’d never find craftsmanship like that in any modern factory. M: Yeah, they really caught my attention, too. In fact, I’m planning to do some research on ancient vases. So I’ ll borrow some books from the library later. 11.B 12.C 13.C W: So how was your holiday? M: Great, but it didn’t start that way. W: What happened? M: Well, I almost missed my plane because I didn’t hear the announcement that they’d changed the gate. Then when we landed, I was going through passport control. I couldn’t find my passport at first — I just forgot where I’d put it. W: You must be more careful next time. M: You’re right. And on the first night at the hotel, the people next door were arguing about something, which kept me awake. But after that, it was all lovely. W: So what did you do for the rest of the trip? M: Well, the hotel staff recommended some local attractions to me. The next day, I went hiking in the mountains and took lots of photos. On the third day, I visited a beautiful beach. In the evening, I tried some seafood at a nearby restaurant. 14.B 15.C 16.A W: Hello, David. How’s the local history project going? Are you making good progress? M: Yes and no. We faced various kinds of problems. None of the group has much experience of cooperating on projects, but we spent some time discussing how to go about it and worked out what seemed a useful approach. But it seems that Jane and I are the only ones actually following the plan. This means that we’ve fallen behind our schedule. W: I see. And that’s tricky. M: Yes, it is. We felt that the targets had been set so we’d all know what to deal with. But looking back, we probably should have really specified individual responsibilities from the beginning. W: Well, this is quite a common problem, actually. If you go to the resource center, I think you’d find the advice service they provide. They’re helpful at this point. M: Thanks. We’ll go there later. 17.C 18.A 19.B 20.C M: Good evening, everyone. In today’s show, my guest is Bronkar Lee. Bronkar Lee isn’t a typical speaker. His unique background includes appearing on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, being featured in a Super Bowl commercial, and beat boxing with his son in a viral video that received over 150 million views. He’s a world-class performer who plays over 40 instruments, and he currently serves as President of the Georgia National Speakers’ Association. Under his leadership, the organization has grown significantly. Please welcome Bronkar Lee! 根据ABOUT ASIMOV’S部分“Asimov’s, the leading literary magazine in the genre, rewards readers with an exciting new collection of adventures in each issue that transport them on journeys examining the human experience across the Universe. 根据CURRENT ISSUE部分“Hot drops us into an overheated suburban society on the verge of a climate collapse and leaps into breathtaking action. 根据全文内容,尤其是CURRENT ISSUE部分“Get Your Subscription Delivered to Your Door! Shop Now! At just 12 Alyssa was gifted her first camera. Her world shifted, suddenly everything became an adventure worth documenting.(艾莉莎 12 岁时收到了人生第一台相机作为礼物。 故选 A。 25. The name A.R.T Photography is more than just her initials; it's her philosophy.Every session is a chance to add artistry into real life, to capture a brief moment and turn it into something timeless.(A.R.T 摄影工作室这个名字不只是她名字的首字母,更是她的创作理念。 But more than anything, she wants her work to continue to inspire others to slow down and notice the small beauty in their own lives, passions and paths — those hidden gems(宝石)that are so often overlooked.(但最重要的是,她希望自己的作品能持续启发人们放慢脚步,留意生活、热爱与人生道路中那些细微美好 -- 那些常常被忽略的珍贵闪光点。) For Alyssa, the hardest part of becoming a photographer wasn't the art itself but combining artistic work with business demands.(对艾莉莎而言,成为摄影师最难的不是摄影技艺本身,而是平衡艺术创作与商业运营的需求。) For Alyssa Rae Tootle, the owner and creative mind behind A.R.T Photography, her passion for capturing life's rawest, most unfiltered(未加滤镜的)moments was planted early and bloomed naturally into the career for which she was meant.(艾莉莎・雷・图特尔是 A.R.T 摄影工作室的创始人兼创意主创,她热衷于捕捉生活中最质朴、毫无修饰的瞬间。 Looking ahead,Alyssa has an ambition:building A.R.T Photography into a more established and trusted local brand in Statesboro and beyond.(展望未来,艾莉莎心怀抱负:把工作室打造成本地乃至更广范围内成熟、值得信赖的品牌。) 根据第一段“A popular musician posts a music video or an athlete shares a workout, and suddenly they seem like part of our lives. People like and share these posts, and over time, admiration can start to feel like friendship — people like to think they know celebrities. 根据第二段“Despite this created closeness, young people frequently view celebrities as standards for success. This influence often unconsciously shapes everything from their self-image to their long-term career goals. 根据第四段“The danger arises when the line between admiration and imagination disappears. The relationship becomes unhealthy when fans act as if they truly know a celebrity. They might take planned posts as personal messages and develop unrealistic expectations. 根据全文内容,尤其是第一段“People like and share these posts, and over time, admiration can start to feel like friendship — people like to think they know celebrities. 以及最后一段“Parasocial relationships should remain what they are: distant and one-sided. In a digital age where everything is designed to feel personal, we must remember that it is not. 根据第一段“But modern life surrounds us with something that biology did not quite prepare us for: a constant stream of food cues — packaging, bakery windows, delivery photos… 根据第二段“After the meal, participants rated once again and as a result, they rated the food they ate as less desirable and the food showed “devaluation”. So far, this sounds like common sense: If you eat enough potato chips, the chips should become less tempting. If you eat enough brownies, brownies should lose some of their magic. 根据第三段“However, when researchers recorded students’ reward positivity signal in their brain, the results told a different story. The early brain signal did not shrink when participants saw images of the food they had just stuffed themselves with. The mind can “know” that a food is no longer worth pursuing, but a fast and automatic part of the brain still reacts to its cue as though it carries reward. 根据最后一段“This suggests that self-control may not begin by erasing temptation (诱惑), but by overriding it. The first wave of evaluation may still arrive, but later processes can still step in and say no. Seen this way, self-control is not the absence of desire. It is the ability to outlast a signal that the brain continues to generate. 根据上文“The other day, I saw myself in a cafe window, hunched (弯腰驼背) over my phone, neck bent, and shoulders creeping up towards my ears. After nearly 10 hours of screen work, my posture (体态) was the last thing on my mind. As I straightened up, symphony of cracks stretched down my spine.(前几天,我在一家咖啡馆的橱窗里看到自己,弯着腰低头看手机,脖子前倾,肩膀向耳朵方向上爬。 I don’t mean to hunch or stay seated for hours, but it happens.(小习惯会带来后果! 37.根据上文“Urvisha, an advanced physiotherapist, explains, “Poor posture does more than cause muscle aches or stiffness. It can also affect our breathing, mood, and energy levels.”(高级物理治疗师乌尔维莎解释道:“不良姿势不仅会导致肌肉酸痛或僵硬,还可能影响我们的呼吸、情绪和精力水平。”)”以及后文“It can help to reduce pain, improve breathing, and enhance digestion, all while increasing our energy levels, and helping us sleep better. A recent study also found upright posture boosts self-esteem and positive emotions.(它有助于减轻疼痛、改善呼吸和促进消化,同时还能提高我们的能量水平,并帮助我们更好地入睡。 38.根据上文“But knowing why good posture matters and actually feeling the benefits yourself can be different matters entirely.(但了解良好姿势的重要性,以及亲身感受到其带来的益处,可能完全是两码事)”以及后文“It is a type of mindful walking. Essentially, it involves walking with an upright body position. Keep your head, shoulders, and hips in a straight line. Tuck your chin slightly, relax your shoulders, engage your core, and look straight ahead while swinging your arms freely. Urvisha often tells her patients to think “tall but relaxed.” Imagine a string gently lifting the top of your head upward.(这是一种正念行走的方式。 39.根据上文“It is a type of mindful walking. Essentially, it involves walking with an upright body position. Keep your head, shoulders, and hips in a straight line. Tuck your chin slightly, relax your shoulders, engage your core, and look straight ahead while swinging your arms freely. Urvisha often tells her patients to think “tall but relaxed.” Imagine a string gently lifting the top of your head upward.(这是一种正念行走的方式。 乌尔维莎常告诉她的患者要“高而放松”地思考,想象一根细线轻轻将你的头顶向上托起)”以及后文“If your footsteps sound heavy, your core or hips may not be engaging properly. Being mindful of how you walk helps you notice other posture-related discomfort.(如果你的脚步听起来沉重,可能是因为核心或髋部没有得到充分的调动。 40.根据上文“You don’t need to change your whole life to get better posture. It’s like building any new daily habit. Little reminders, small changes, and a bit of patience can go a long way.(你不需要改变整个生活才能改善姿势。 A. crowded拥挤的;B. smooth平坦的;C. steep陡峭的;D. straight笔直的。根据后文“dropping nearly 300 metres down a rocky cliff”以及“Outside my passenger window there was a steep cliff”可知,山路紧邻悬崖、地势险峻,是陡峭的山路。 42. A. texting发短信;B. copying复制;C. exhibiting展示;D. advertising做广告。根据后文“When I looked up from my phone”可知,作者当时正在用手机发消息。 43. A. drought干旱;B. flooding洪水;C. earthquake地震;D. typhoon台风。 A. start启动;B. repair修理;C. push推动;D. brake刹车。根据前文“I saw a wave of mud and an enormous tree rushing down the mountain.” A. caught裹挟;B. ignored忽视;C. kept保持;D. prevented阻止。 A. lay down躺下;B. fell down摔倒;C. sat down坐下;D. hung up挂断。根据前文“The mudslide ______ our car dropping nearly 300 metres down a rocky cliff. As he flipped through more photos, Jake’s eyes began to mist. There were pictures of him as a baby, always in his grandmother’s arms — smiling, feeding him, helping him take his first steps. He hadn’t remembered any of it, but the photos told a story of love and time shared. His anger from earlier now felt silly. Taking a deep breath, he set the album aside and got to work. He rolled up the old carpet, stacked boxes neatly, and swept the floor, stirring up clouds of dust. Spiderwebs clung to his sleeves, but he didn’t stop. The room slowly changed from a forgotten mess to a clean, welcoming space. As sunlight streamed in, Jake looked around and smiled. Maybe this wasn’t such a bad way to spend a Saturday. Next morning, when his grandmother stepped into her new room, Jake handed her the album. She blinked in surprise, then smiled softly as she ran her fingers over the worn cover. “You found this?” she asked. Jake nodded.” I didn’t know we had so many memories.” They sat together on the edge of the bed, flipping through the pages. She laughed at some photos, explained others, and paused with misty eyes at a few. When they reached the last page, Jake grinned. “Let’s add a new one.” He grabbed his phone, held it out, and the two leaned in close. “Say cheese!” Click. A fresh photo joined the album—Jake and his grandmother, smiling side by side, ready to continue their story together. 词汇激活 行为类 ①开始工作:get to work/start working ②深呼吸:take a deep breath/inhale deeply ③放置:set aside/put aside/place aside 情绪类 ①生气:anger/rage ②惊讶地:in surprise/in amazement 【点睛】【高分句型1】She blinked in surprise, then smiled softly as she ran her fingers over the worn cover.(运用了as引导的时间状语从句) 【高分句型2】When they reached the last page, Jake grinned.(运用了when引导的时间状语从句) 答案第1页(共2页) 答案第1页(共2页) 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $ 高三英语诊断练习 第一部分 听力(共两节,满分30分) 第一节 (共5小题;每小题1.5分,满分7.5分) 听下面5段录音。 1.How much should the man pay? T Photography, her passion for capturing life’s rawest, most unfiltered (未加滤镜的) moments was planted early and bloomed naturally into the career for which she was meant. Born and raised in Statesboro, Alyssa’s love for photography started at home. Her mother was rarely seen without a camera in hand. At just 12 Alyssa was gifted her first camera. Her world shifted. Suddenly, everything became an adventure worth documenting. As she grew older, her natural curiosity and love for people were woven into her art. Photography became the perfect marriage between her adventurous spirit and her gift of making others feel seen, and what once was a passion project gradually turned into something much bigger: a career rooted in storytelling and service. The name A.R. T Photography is more than just her initials; it’s her philosophy. Every session is a chance to add artistry into real life, to capture a brief moment and turn it into something timeless. Alyssa describes her style in three words: raw, real moments. She leans into spontaneity (率真) and encourages her customers to do the same, promising to create an atmosphere where they can be their truest selves. Still, no journey is without challenges. For Alyssa, the hardest part of becoming a photographer wasn’t the art itself but combining artistic work with business demands. “There are days when you just have to weigh the pros and cons of a situation and go with the flow,” she said. Looking ahead, Alyssa has an ambition: building A.R. T Photography into a more established and trusted local brand in Statesboro and beyond. But more than anything, she wants her work to continue to inspire others to slow down and notice the small beauty in their own lives, passions and paths — those hidden gems (宝石) that are so often overlooked. 24. What first inspired Alyssa’s interest in photography? A. A camera as a gift. B. A family outing. C. A perfect marriage. D. A chance encounter. 25. Which of the following best reflects Alyssa’s philosophy? A. Art mirrors the soul. B. Form matters more. C. Plan for big moments. D. Find beauty in ordinary life. 26. What was Alyssa’s main challenge? A. Winning local trust. B. Balancing different roles. C. Creating a business model. D. Perfecting her artistic skills. 27. Which of the following best describes Alyssa? A. Curious and patient. B. Creative and ambitious. C. Honest and practical. D. Adventurous and independent. C A popular musician posts a music video or an athlete shares a workout, and suddenly they seem like part of our lives. People like and share these posts, and over time, admiration can start to feel like friendship — people like to think they know celebrities. Psychology Today defines this phenomenon as a parasocial relationship (准社会关系) — a one-sided connection that exists only in the fan’s mind. First identified in 1956 to describe television viewers feeling closely connected to on-screen figures, this behavior has existed for ages. Today, social platforms deepen this illusion by offering constant, seemingly real updates on the lives of public figures. However, what audiences actually see is a carefully selected version of reality, edited for perfection rather than truth. Despite this created closeness, young people frequently view celebrities as standards for success. This influence often unconsciously shapes everything from their self-image to their long-term career goals. These relationships are not always harmful. For some, especially those who feel left out in society, seeing public figures with similar backgrounds can offer a sense of belonging. These connections can inspire confidence and make people feel less alone. In that sense, they can serve a real and meaningful purpose, offering comfort. The danger arises when the line between admiration and imagination disappears. The relationship becomes unhealthy when fans act as if they truly know a celebrity. They might take planned posts as personal messages and develop unrealistic expectations. Furthermore, these feelings now extend to artificial intelligence (AI). Chatbots acting like real friends can produce deep emotional responses, making it harder to tell real human connection from AI. Admiration itself is fine. Music, sports and entertainment have long connected communities, but that influence needs clear boundaries. Without them, simply watching a video is easily mistaken for close friendship, and carefully chosen content is mistaken for true connection. Parasocial relationships should remain what they are: distant and one-sided. In a digital age where everything is designed to feel personal, we must remember that it is not. 28.Why did the author mention the musician and the athlete in the first paragraph? A.To reveal the market value of stars’ posts. B.To criticize celebrities’ too-much-sharing. C.To show an imagined familiarity with stars. D.To illustrate progressive fan-star connection. 29.How do digital bonds built on celebrity posts affect the youth? A.They shape youths’ personal values. B.They make the youth perfectionists. C.They ease beauty standards for youths. D.They develop the youth’s social skills. 30.Which of the following is an example of the “danger” in paragraph 4? A.Flooding friends’ chats with celebrity updates. B.Using AI chatbots to solve academic challenges. C.Taking idols’ livestream as private video calls. D.Tracking a star’s posts to monitor their traces. 31.What may be the best title for the text? A.Music and Sports: The Uniting Strength B.Posts and Responses: The Healing Circle C.Blessing or Disaster: The Booming Internet D.Stardom or Friendship: The Mistaken Closeness D You finish a meal, feel completely full, and then someone opens a box of dessert. A moment ago, your body seemed finished with food. Now, suddenly, dessert sounds possible. We usually think of hunger as the only thing that drives eating. In one sense, that’s true. But modern life surrounds us with something that biology did not quite prepare us for: a constant stream of food cues — packaging, bakery windows, delivery photos… A recent study in Appetite studied why we may not be able to avoid overeating when faced with these food cues. For the study, 90 university students rated their current hunger and the desirability of eleven foods and on this basis two foods of equal rating were selected. Halfway through the experiment, they were fed one of the two foods until they no longer wanted more of it. After the meal, participants rated once again and as a result, they rated the food they ate as less desirable and the food showed “devaluation”. So far, this sounds like common sense: If you eat enough potato chips, the chips should become less tempting. If you eat enough brownies, brownies should lose some of their magic. The study confirmed that people themselves reported experiencing this. However, when researchers recorded students’ reward positivity signal in their brain, the results told a different story. The early brain signal did not shrink when participants saw images of the food they had just stuffed themselves with. The mind can “know” that a food is no longer worth pursuing, but a fast and automatic part of the brain still reacts to its cue as though it carries reward. This study helps explain one of the most frustrating aspects of eating. Overeating is not always a simple failure of willpower. It may begin earlier than that, in the split second when a food cue grabs the brain before deliberate control has had time to catch up. This suggests that self-control may not begin by erasing temptation (诱惑), but by overriding it. The first wave of evaluation may still arrive, but later processes can still step in and say no. Seen this way, self-control is not the absence of desire. It is the ability to outlast a signal that the brain continues to generate. 32.What is the modern challenge of eating? A.Wide availability of food. B.Intense biological hunger. C.Mounting emotional pressure. D.Frequent exposure to food signals. 33.What does the underlined word “devaluation” in paragraph 2 refer to? A.A drop in its market price. B.A growing attraction to people. C.A decline in its original appeal. D.A reduction in its daily supply. 34.What is the purpose of paragraph 3? A.To question the study’s findings. B.To introduce a new food experiment. C.To explain the reason behind hunger. D.To reveal the mind-brain contradiction. 35.What can we learn about self-control from the last paragraph? A.It results from the first food evaluation. B.It develops through repeated practice. C.It involves acting against lasting urges. D.It requires getting rid of desire for food. The other day, I saw myself in a cafe window, hunched (弯腰驼背) over my phone, neck bent, and shoulders creeping up towards my ears. After nearly 10 hours of screen work, my posture (体态) was the last thing on my mind. As I straightened up, symphony of cracks stretched down my spine. 36 Small habits lead to it! I don’t mean to hunch or stay seated for hours, but it happens. Urvisha, an advanced physiotherapist, explains, “Poor posture does more than cause muscle aches or stiffness. It can also affect our breathing, mood, and energy levels.” 37 It can help to reduce pain, improve breathing, and enhance digestion, all while increasing our energy levels, and helping us sleep better. A recent study also found upright posture boosts self-esteem and positive emotions. But knowing why good posture matters and actually feeling the benefits yourself can be different matters entirely. 38 . It is a type of mindful walking. Essentially, it involves walking with an upright body position. Keep your head, shoulders, and hips in a straight line. Tuck your chin slightly, relax your shoulders, engage your core, and look straight ahead while swinging your arms freely. Urvisha often tells her patients to think “tall but relaxed.” Imagine a string gently lifting the top of your head upward. 39 If your footsteps sound heavy, your core or hips may not be engaging properly. Being mindful of how you walk helps you notice other posture-related discomfort. You don’t need to change your whole life to get better posture. It’s like building any new daily habit. Little reminders, small changes, and a bit of patience can go a long way. 40 A.You will feel your steps light and even. B.But it’s easy to change my bad posture. C.However, good posture brings benefits. D.I realized how easily bad posture sneaks into daily life. E.That’s where the simple idea of posture walking comes in. F.With time, you’ll feel the difference in your body and mood. G.Long screen time is usually the cause of psychological discomfort. It was a weekend in May 2018 and my partner, Gabe Rosescu, and I were taking a road trip to visit friends in Nelson, British Columbia. It was a message from Ryan: “Meet at the park in 15 minutes?” Jake smiled. It had been a long week of school, and he couldn’t wait to play basketball with his friends. Just as he was heading out, his mom called from the kitchen. “Jake! Come back! I need your help with the storage room.” “But Mom, I told Ryan I’d meet him at the park,” Jake protested. “We talked about this. Grandma is moving in this weekend, so we need to clean out the storage room to make space for her.” “Grandma?” Jake thought, the word feeling almost foreign on his tongue. He didn’t even know her that well — it had been years since she last visited, and now she was moving in? He couldn’t believe he had to give up his Saturday for someone he barely knew. With complaints and sighs, he kicked at the floor as he trudged down the hallway, dragging his feet like they weighed a ton. Stepping into the storage room, his nose wrinkled in disgust. The place was a disaster. Spiderwebs drooped from every corner, and dust swirled in the sunlight like dirty smoke. Boxes teetered in unstable stacks, a rolled-up carpet with worn edges lay half-spilled across the floor, and forgotten junk crowded every inch. Jake let out a long, dramatic sigh — this job was going to take forever. Just as he was about to give up and sneak a text to Ryan, a faded blue album tucked at the bottom of the suitcase caught his eye. Faint words were etched on its leather cover: Stories with Jake (To Be Continued…). He pulled it out and flipped it open—the pages were filled with moments of him and his grandmother. On the very first page was a photo — On the very first page was a photo: his grandmother, much younger then, cradling a tiny baby wrapped in a soft blanket. At the bottom of the photo he saw some words in careful handwriting: “Glad to meet you, baby Jake.” Paragraph 1: As he flipped through more photos, his eyes began to mist. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Paragraph 2: Next morning, when his grandmother stepped into her new room, Jake handed her the album. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 试卷第1页(共3页) 高三英语试卷 第1页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $
