Unit3 The Art of Painting
1.Many were shocked by his powerful paintings.(ved
2.His paintings are astonishing.(ving
3.The scene is fascinating.(ving
4.He felt depressed.(ved
核心:此处 ving、ved 已经演化成形容词化的分词,放在 be/get/become/seem/look/sound/feel 等系动词后作表语,构成主系表结构。
ing(令人……)
ed(感到……)

1.His paintings are astonishing.(ving
2.Many were shocked by his powerful paintings.(ved
→主语 many(people),人的内心感受。
3.The scene is fascinating.(ving)
4.He felt depressed.(ved)
1. be + ving(分词作表语)VS 现在进行时
✅The story is exciting.(作表语)这个故事很激动人心。
2. be + ved(分词作表语)VS 被动语态
✅He was shocked.(ed
✅He was shocked by the painting.(ed 作表语,by 引出触发情绪的事物)
The picture was painted by a famous artist.
He is amusing.
He is amused.
The window is broken.
The ground is covered with snow.
除 am/is/are,下面系动词后面同样可以接 ving /ved 作表语: feel, look, seem, become, get, turn, remain
1.She felt discouraged.
2.The art show looks exciting.
3.He got interested in oilpainting.
