Write and share
Write and share
My problem: I got a bad mark in my maths test. I couldn't understand some questions.
How I feel: I felt sad and worried. I was afraid my parents would be angry.
Write and share
How I solve it: First, I sat down and thought about which parts I didn't know. Then I asked my maths teacher for help after class. I also did extra exercises with my deskmate. Every time I solved one hard question, I felt better. The text says, "Think carefully" and "Ask for help." I did that, and now I am not so worried.
Write and share
My problem: I had too much homework every day. I had no time to play or read my storybooks.
How I feel: I felt tired and annoyed. I sometimes wanted to shout!
Write and share
How I solve it: I made a timetable. I did the most important homework first. I also asked my mum for advice. She told me to finish some homework during the break at school. I tried her idea. Now I can finish earlier and have more free time. The text says, "There are more solutions than problems." I tried different ways, and I found a good one. Each time I solve a problem, I feel stronger and smarter.
Write and share
My problem: I had a big fight with my best friend. She didn't talk to me for two days.
How I feel: I felt very upset and angry. I even wanted to cry.
Write and share
How I solve it: I didn't shout. I tried to calm down and think why she was angry. Then I wrote her a note and said sorry. I also asked our class teacher to help us talk. We sat together and listened to each other. Now we are friends again. The text says, "Get to know your feelings" and "Ask your teachers or friends for help." That really worked for me.
