[开头] As night fell, Tom realized he was hopelessly lost in the dense forest. [推进] All of a sudden, he heard the distant sound of a river. Without hesitation, he followed the sound, stumbling over roots and rocks. [推进] Meanwhile, the search team had already set up a base camp at the foot of the mountain. [收尾] Eventually, after what seemed like an eternity, Tom spotted a faint light in the distance. [收尾] From that day on, he never ventured into the woods without a compass and a map.
As night fell(段落开头·夜幕降临)→ All of a sudden(段落推进·突然)→ Without hesitation(段落开头·毫不犹豫)→ Meanwhile(段落推进·与此同时)→ Eventually(段落收尾·最终)→ From that day on(段落收尾·从那天起)
1. 时态不匹配:一般过去时用 As night fell(不用 As night falls),现在完成时用 Ever since(不用 Ever since then 之外的过去标记)。
Hardly had she arrived when...(不是 Hardly she had arrived)。
Suddenly / All of a sudden / Out of nowhere。
The next morning / The following day
