For a long time, people lived in 1 with nature. Wolves rarely hurt sheep that farmers kept, and they helped control the number of rabbits that ate grass. Then in the 1960s, people thought wolves were dangerous and began to hunt them 2 . Most wolves disappeared from the grasslands. At first, farmers were happy because 3 sheep were killed by wolves. But soon a big 4 came. Without wolves, the number of rabbits grew 5 . They ate almost all the grass that was needed by sheep and other animals. Much good grassland turned into sand. People finally learned that wolves are an important part of the 6 . Removing one species can break the whole 7 of nature. Now the local government has started a 8 project. Wolves are protected, and their number is slowly growing again. Farmers also learn to live with wolves and use special fences to 9 their sheep. It keeps a natural balance as long as humans do not destroy it. However, human activities have greatly changed our planet in recent years. Every year, large numbers of trees are cut down for farmland and buildings. Such activities are harmful 2 local ecosystems. They not only rob wild animals of their homes but also 3 to serious air pollution and smog. Human behaviors have a great influence 4 the living conditions of wild creatures. Thankfully, more people have realized the 5 of protecting natural balance. Forests, rivers and wildlife all play important roles 6 keeping the earth healthy. Every part of nature matters, and small changes in one area can 7 the whole ecosystem. Now schools and communities encourage people to live a green life. We are taught to protect nature 8 avoid wasting natural resources. Teenagers can also make a difference. By saving water, reducing waste and planting trees, we can help nature 9 its natural balance. Her business, “Re-Imagine,” is built on upcycling—the art of turning old unwanted items into something new and 1 higher value. It started three years ago when she found a discarded (被丢弃的) wooden ladder on the street. Instead of passing by, she 2 it home. With some cleaning, sanding, and fresh paint, she transformed it into a unique bookshelf. She posted a picture online, and to her 3 , many people wanted to buy it. That was the beginning. Now, she collects broken furniture, old tires, and even used glass bottles. “Every object has a story and a 4 to be beautiful again,” she says. Her creations are not just eco-friendly; they are pieces of art with character that new factory-made products 5 . Her work challenges our throw-away culture. We live in a world that often encourages buying new and 6 old. Maria shows us that with creativity, we can reduce waste and create beauty. Her 7 also touches her customers. “When I buy her upcycled lamp, I feel I’m not just buying a product; I’m 8 a story and supporting a good cause,” one customer said. Maria’s success proves that environmental protection and business can go hand in hand. She hopes to 9 more people, especially young students, to look at their surroundings with creative eyes. “You don’t need to be a professional artist,” she smiles. “You just need to 10 that one person’s trash could be another person’s treasure.” 1.A.of B.for C.with D.by 2.A.pushed B.carried C.threw D.sent 3.A.regret B.surprise C.sorrow D.relief 4.A.right B.duty C.chance D.problem 5.A.lack B.have C.value D.need 6.A.hiding B.fixing C.storing D.throwing away 7.A.price B.speed C.story D.humor 8.A.writing B.buying C.forgetting D.ending 9.A.order B.warn C.inspire D.force 10.A.doubt B.prove C.realize D.promise Passage5 (25-26九年级上·四川广安·期末)Plastic is everywhere. It has been found at the bottom of the ocean. It’s been found at the top of Mount Qomolangma. Now plastic has been found in another unlikely place: on the backs of hermit crabs (寄居蟹). Hermit crabs are small and have soft bodies. To protect themselves, they usually wear seashells (贝壳). They find shells left behind by dead sea snails (海螺). But according to a study, at least 386 hermit crabs are wearing rubbish now. There are 16 kinds of hermit crabs that live on land, and 10 kinds of them are wearing rubbish now. And nearly 9 out of 10 of these crabs are wearing plastic. The others are wearing glass or metal. Scientists aren’t sure why hermit crabs are now choosing rubbish instead of snail shells. But they have some ideas. It’s possible that hermit crabs can’t find enough seashells. It’s also possible that crabs choose plastic because it’s light and easy to carry. Or they just like the bright colors. Scientists agree that plastic pollution is bad for wildlife and the environment. But it isn’t clear that the crabs are in any danger. “It’s really an amazing example of the beauty of adaptation (适应),” an expert says. “What are the long-term results of these adaptations? We don’t know.” 1.What do hermit crabs usually wear to protect themselves? A.Plastic. B.Glass. C.Metal. D.Seashells. 2.How does the writer explain the study according to Paragraph 3? A.By asking a question. B.By listing numbers. C.By giving an example. D.By telling a story. 3.Which could be one of the reasons why hermit crabs wear rubbish? A.The rubbish is colorful. B.The rubbish is heavy for protection. C.The rubbish is easy to find. D.The seashells are enough for hermit crabs. 4.What can we know about hermit crabs? A.They have their own shells. B.They like wearing glass more than plastic. C.They are in great danger because of plastic pollution. D.They are very smart to adapt to the environmental changes. 5.What’s the best title for the passage? A.Protecting Hermit Crabs B.Hermit Crabs and Sea Snails C.Plastic Pollution D.Hermit Crabs in Danger Passage6 (25-26九年级上·福建泉州·期末)In recent years, plastic pollution has become one of the most serious environmental problems around the world. Many countries have been looking for effective ways for a better future. In November, 2022, China started a “bamboo instead of plastic” initiative (倡议) with the International Bamboo and Rattan Organization (国际竹藤组织), which will hopefully increase green bamboo products and reduce plastic pollution. Bamboo is a renewable natural resource of great value, such as cleaning air and preventing soil loss. Unlike trees which usually need so long time to fully grow, bamboo can be harvested in 3 to 5 years. As long as it is protected well, bamboo can be cut every year and doesn’t have to be planted. Bamboo can be used to make different kinds of products. These products can take the place of plastic products in many fields such as packaging and building. What’s more, bamboo is an innocuous material. It doesn’t cause any pollution when it has to be thrown away. China is one of the countries with the richest bamboo resources in the world. The Chinese are a pioneer (先驱)  in the use of bamboo. Provinces Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan and Guizhou in the country have set up companies to develop and produce bamboo products. They cover the areas of tableware, furniture, decoration, daily necessities, etc. Many of them have been sold to different countries. China is also sharing its technologies and experience to help other countries with rich bamboo resources. It is hoped that countries will work together for global green development. 1.What is the purpose of Paragraph 1? A.To ask people to protect bamboo. B.To advise people to plant more bamboo. C.To encourage people to make good use of bamboo. D.To invite people to learn about Chinese bamboo culture. 2.How long does it take for bamboo to fully grow? A.For one year. B.For three to five years. C.For ten years. D.For more than ten years. 3.What does the underlined word “innocuous” in Paragraph 2 mean? A.Harmless. B.Strong. C.Cheap. D.Light. 4.What can we get from Paragraph 3? A.Few people use bamboo products in Europe. B.China hopes to set up more companies in other countries. C.China is helping other countries with rich bamboo resources. D.Guizhou and Henan have set up companies to produce bamboo products. 5.Which can be the best title for the passage? A.Chinese Bamboo Products B.Less Plastic, More Bamboo C.Bamboo in Chinese Culture D.Countries with Rich Bamboo Resources Passage7 (25-26九年级上·山东聊城·期末)Anyone who has experienced a cyclone (旋风) will tell you how scary it can be. High winds and lots of rain can destroy a city in less than an hour. A big cyclone, named Cyclone Debbie, hit Australia’s east coast at the end of March. The wind was as fast as 236 km/h and destroyed houses, trees, cars and boats. Sea levels rose and flooded coastal towns, while rivers also flooded. Many cities near rivers went underwater. Hundreds of thousands of people had to leave their homes and farms; at least 8 people died, reported Courier Mail. The cyclone lasted for about 3 days. But the flooding was still happening 2 weeks later. Some cities never recover from a cyclone, while it takes years to rebuild. A tropical cyclone begins when a group of thunderstorms meets over warm, tropical waters. Lots of air and water are sucked into clouds from the ocean. Because the Earth is rotating, the clouds start to spiral That is why a tropical cyclone has a curved (使成弧形) shape when you see it on a map. For this reason, tropical cyclones cannot form near the Equator (赤道) because Earth’s rotation (自转) is not strong enough there. When the wind speed increases to 120 km/h, it changes from a tropical cyclone to a hurricane, typhoon or cyclone. So what is the difference between a cyclone, a hurricane, a typhoon? The answer is actually quite simple. All three are the same. We just use different names for these storms in different places. In the Atlantic and Northeast Pacific Ocean around the US, the term hurricane is used. The same type of storm in the North Pacific Ocean near China is called a typhoon. Cyclones occur in the South Pacific and Indian Ocean near Australia. 1.When the wind speed increases to ________, it changes from a tropical cyclone to a hurricane. A.2km/min B.3km/min C.4km/s D.5km/s 2.The underlined word “recover” in Paragraph 3 probably means “________” in Chinese. 3.Australian cyclones caused ________. A.many people lost their homes B.trees, cars and boats were destroyed C.sea levels rose D.A, B and C 4.Which of the following is TRUE? A.When the wind speed increases to 125 km/h, it changes from a tropical cyclone to a hurricane. B.A group of thunderstorms meet over cold, tropical waters. C.The Earth can rotate. D.tropical cyclones can be seen near the equator. 5.What does the passage mainly talk about? A.A terrible cyclone—Debbie. B.The Earth’s rotation. C.The formation of a cyclone. D.A terrible cyclone and how a hurricane forms. Passage8 (25-26九年级上·四川德阳·期末)Do you enjoy fried foods like French fries or fried chicken? They are tasty, but making them uses a lot of cooking oil. In China, used cooking oil was once a serious problem. People called it “gutter oil”. It was dirty and unsafe. There were worries that some restaurants might secretly reuse it, which could be harmful. Everyone wanted to stay away from it, just like avoiding poison (毒). But now, things are different. This waste oil is no longer trash— it has become valuable. Some even call it “green gold.” Why is old, used oil so precious (珍贵)? The reason is in the sky. Scientists have discovered a way to clean this used oil and turn it into a special kind of airplane fuel (燃料). It is called Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). Planes using SAF release much less pollution. This is better for our planet because it helps reduce carbon emissions (排放). Because SAF is cleaner, airlines from Europe and America want to buy it. They are looking for ways to make flying more environmentally friendly. This demand is good news for China and for our environment. Now, restaurants no longer throw away used oil or reuse it illegally. Instead, they sell it to factories that make SAF. This keeps our food safe and provides cleaner fuel for airplanes. It’s a smart change: turning kitchen waste into green energy that helps us travel and protects the earth. 1.What was the main problem with “gutter oil” in China before? A.It was too expensive to buy. B.It was dirty and could make people sick. C.It made airplanes fly slowly. D.It was hard to find in restaurants. 2.Why do airlines from other countries want to buy SAF from China? A.Because it helps protect the environment. B.Because it makes planes look newer. C.Because it is the cheapest fuel available. D.Because it makes flights shorter. 3.What does the underlined word “demand” most likely mean in the passage? 4.What is one direct result of turning used oil into SAF? A.Restaurants start using more oil for frying. B.Airplane tickets become much cheaper. C.Used oil is no longer reused in food, making it safer. D.Cooking oil becomes more expensive to buy. Rivers are one of our most important natural resources. Many of the world’s great cities are next to rivers, and almost every country has at least one river flowing (流过) through. That plays an important part in the lives of its people. Most rivers begin in mountains and end in oceans. Since the beginning of history, people have used rivers for transportation. The longest one in the US is the Mississippi. The lifeline of Egypt is the Nile. To the people of India, the Ganges is great. Ships can travel along it for a thousand miles. The greatest of all for navigation (航海), is the Amazon in Brazil. It is so wide and so deep that large ships can go about two thousand miles upon it. Besides transportation, rivers give food to eat, water to drink and water for crops (庄稼). In order to increase the supply of water for crops, engineers sometimes build a dam (大坝) across a river. Then people can use the water not only to irrigate (灌溉) their fields but also to make electricity for their homes and industries. However, large cities and industries that are next to rivers often have problems. As the cities grow in size and industries increase in number, the water in the rivers becomes polluted. People have realized the importance of protecting the rivers. They are doing more to keep their rivers clean. 1.What plays an important part in the lives of the people from the text? 2.How long have people used water for transportation? 3.Why is Amazon regarded as the greatest for navigation? 4.What do people use the water from the dam to do? 5.What do you think of protecting water resources? What will you do for it? Passage10 (25-26九年级上·广西贵港·期中)Microplastics (微塑料) are very small, but they can bring big pollution problems. A new study said that by 2040, microplastic pollution could be twice as bad as it is now. Scientists learned this by looking at 20 years of studies on microplastics. Microplastics come from many places. For example, about 60 percent of material made into clothing is plastic. Every time they are washed, they shed (掉落) microplastics. When water bottles and other big plastic items are left outside, they break down slowly into microplastics. They do great harm to the environment as well as the health of animals and humans. However, it is really hard to clean up microplastics. Firstly, they are small bits of plastic less than 5mm long. Besides, they stay nearly everywhere. They’ve been found in our oceans, on the top of mountains, in some of the food we eat and even in the stomachs of some ocean animals. What’s more, they don’t break down easily and can stay in the environment for hundreds of years. This can be bad for our health. In August, The Conversation reported that scientists found microplastics in people’s brains for the first time. They may hurt brain cells. They can even change how the brain works. Wild animals are also at risk from microplastic pollution. Each year, up to three million tons of microplastics end up in the ocean. Since they are too small to be seen, fish may eat them by mistake and become very sick. 1.What can microplastics bring? 2.Where do microplastics mainly come from? 3.Why are microplastics difficult to clean up? (不超过15个词) 4.How do microplastics influence people’s brains? 5.Write an ending sentence for the passage. (不超过15个词) Passage11 (2026·吉林长春·一模) A warm cross-border (跨国) friendship has warmed millions of Chinese people recently. A kind donation (捐赠, 捐款) made 27 years ago has finally grown into a large green forest in China’s desert areas. In 1999, Ronald Sakolsky worked as a foreign teacher in Luoyang. He heard touching stories about Yin Yuzhen. She spent years fighting against desert growth in Mu Us Sandy Land, trying hard to turn dry, empty land into green woods. He was determined to do something. He raised 5, 000 US dollars and gave the money to environmental groups to help her plant more trees. In the same year, Ronald visited the sandy land and became close friends with Yin. Unluckily, they lost touch with each other soon after and had no communication for 27 years. However, Yin never forgot the help from her foreign friend. She kept working on tree planting for nearly 40 years. She took good care of every young tree with the donated money. Year by year, small saplings (幼树) grew into strong big trees. Now, over 50, 000 green trees cover the old desert, and the poor land becomes lively and fresh again. Yin posted a video online on May 16, 2026. She hoped to find her old friend and share the amazing changes of the desert with him. With lots of warm-hearted people’s help, the two friends talked on the phone happily just one day later. Ronald felt very excited about this special reunion. He hoped to come back to China soon, and plant new trees together with Yin. Love and kindness have no country lines, and long-time hard work always pays off. This beautiful story tells us that people around the world can work together to protect our earth, and build a greener and better shared home. 1.Where did Ronald Sakolsky work as a foreign teacher in 1999? 2.Why did Ronald give away the money he raised to environmental groups? 3.When did Yin post a video online to find her old friend? 4.Who helped the two friends talk on the phone? 5.What did Ronald think of this special reunion? (每题答案不超过10个词) The air is thin and we have to rest several times on the short hike from camp. In front of us, we can just make out some animals. This is why we’re here—to observe Tibetan antelopes (藏羚羊). Tibetan antelopes live on the plains of Xizang, Xinjiang, and Qinghai. Watching them move slowly across the green grass, I’m attracted by their beauty. I’m also reminded of the danger they were in. My guide is Zhaxi, a villager from Changtang. He works at the Changtang National Nature Reserve. The reserve is a shelter for the animals and plants of northwestern Xizang. To Zhaxi, the land is sacred (神圣的) and protecting the wildlife is a way of life. “We’re not trying to save the animals,” he says. “In fact, we’re trying to save ourselves.” The 1980s and 1990s were bad times for the Tibetan antelope. The population dropped by more than 50 percent. They were hunted for their valuable fur. Their living space became smaller as new roads and railways were built. In order to save this species from disappearing, the Chinese government placed it under national protection. Bridges and gates were added to let the antelopes move easily and keep them safe from cars and trains. Zhaxi and other volunteers watched over the antelopes day and night to keep them safe from attacks. The measures worked. The antelope population has recovered and in June 2015, the Tibetan antelope was removed from the endangered (濒临绝种的) species list. The government, however, does not plan to stop the protection programmes, since the dangers that the Tibetan antelopes face have not yet disappeared. In the evening, I drink a cup of tea and watch the stars. I think about the antelopes and what Zhaxi told me. Much is being done to protect wildlife, but if we really want to save the planet, we must change our way of life. 1.Where do Tibetan antelopes live? 2.What two dangers did Tibetan antelopes face in the past? 3.How did Zhaxi and other volunteers keep Tibetan antelopes safe from attacks? 4.Why was the Tibetan antelope removed from the endangered species list in 2015? 5.What can we do to protect endangered wildlife like Tibetan antelopes? Protecting nature is protecting ourselves. Only by living in harmony with nature can we have a 10 future. 1.A.who B.which C.whom D.whose 2.A.to B.for C.with D.in 3.A.lead B.leads C.leading D.led 4.A.in B.at C.on D.of 5.A.importance B.difficulty C.difference D.suggestion 6.A.on B.at C.in D.for 7.A.effort B.effect C.afford D.affect 8.A.but B.and C.so D.or 9.A.keep B.take C.make D.turn 10.A.difficult B.dangerous C.terrible D.safer 【答案】 有害”,to符合短语用法;for、with、on无法构成该固定搭配。 3. 前文列举砍伐树木的危害,not only...but also... A long time ago, there was a village near a forest. “You just need to 10 that one person’s trash could be another person’s treasure.” 1.A.of B.for C.with D.by 2.A.pushed B.carried C.threw D.sent 3.A.regret B.surprise C.sorrow D.relief 4.A.right B.duty C.chance D.problem 5.A.lack B.have C.value D.need 6.A.hiding B.fixing C.storing D.throwing away 7.A.price B.speed C.story D.humor 8.A.writing B.buying C.forgetting D.ending 9.A.order B.warn C.inspire D.force 10.A.doubt B.prove C.realize D.promise 【答案】 根据前文“she found a discarded wooden ladder on the street.” 根据本段首句“Her work challenges our throw-away culture.” 根据后文客户说的话“I feel I’m not just buying a product; I’m…a story”可知,打动客户的并非产品本身,而是Maria和她作品背后的故事,所以选择story表示“故事”。 根据后文“to look at their surroundings with creative eyes”可知,Maria希望通过自己的环保创业成功案例来激励、鼓舞更多人,所以选择inspire表示“启发/鼓舞”。 根据空后宾语从句“that one person’s trash could be another person’s treasure”可知,此处指人们需要明白、意识到垃圾与财富转换的道理,所以选择realize表示“意识到/明白”。 Passage5 (25-26九年级上·四川广安·期末)Plastic is everywhere. A.Protecting Hermit Crabs B.Hermit Crabs and Sea Snails C.Plastic Pollution D.Hermit Crabs in Danger 【答案】1.D 2.B 3.A 4.D 5.C 【导语】本文是一篇说明文,介绍塑料污染遍布各处,不少寄居蟹不再使用海螺壳,转而利用塑料、玻璃等垃圾充当外壳,科学家探讨了产生该现象的几种原因,并指出寄居蟹适应环境变化带来的长期影响尚不明确。 原文第二段“To protect themselves, they usually wear seashells.”,说明寄居蟹通常依靠贝壳保护自身,对应D选项。 2. 3.原文第四段“Or they just like the bright colors.”,表明寄居蟹选择垃圾的原因之一是垃圾色彩鲜艳,A选项符合原文;B、D与原文意思相反,C文中没有提及。 4. Passage6 (25-26九年级上·福建泉州·期末)In recent years, plastic pollution has become one of the most serious environmental problems around the world. A.Chinese Bamboo Products B.Less Plastic, More Bamboo C.Bamboo in Chinese Culture D.Countries with Rich Bamboo Resources 【答案】1.C 2.B 3.A 4.C 5.B 【导语】本文讲述了为应对全球塑料污染,中国于2022年联合国际竹藤组织发起“以竹代塑”倡议,文章介绍竹子生长快、可再生、无污染的诸多优势,同时说明我国竹资源丰富、竹制品产业成熟并对外输出技术经验,呼吁各国携手推进全球绿色发展。 根据第一段中“China started a ‘bamboo instead of plastic’ initiative...which will hopefully increase green bamboo products and reduce plastic pollution.” 根据第二段中“Unlike trees which usually need so long time to fully grow, bamboo can be harvested in 3 to 5 years.” 3.根据划线词后的句子“It doesn’t cause any pollution when it has to be thrown away.” 4.根据第三段中“China is also sharing its technologies and experience to help other countries with rich bamboo resources.” Passage7 (25-26九年级上·山东聊城·期末)Anyone who has experienced a cyclone (旋风) will tell you how scary it can be. 根据文章第四段最后一句“When the wind speed increases to 120 km/h…” 2.根据第三段最后一句“Some cities never recover from a cyclone, while it takes years to rebuild.”,结合语境可知此处指城市从灾害中“恢复”正常状态,因此recover意为“恢复”。 3.根据第二段“destroyed houses, trees, cars and boats”(对应 B 项)、“Sea levels rose”(对应 C 项)以及第三段“Hundreds of thousands of people had to leave their homes”(对应 A 项)可知,A、B、C 三项所述情况均发生了。 4.根据第四段“Because the earth is rotating…” Passage8 (25-26九年级上·四川德阳·期末)Do you enjoy fried foods like French fries or fried chicken? 原文第1段“It was dirty and unsafe. There were worries that some restaurants might secretly reuse it, which could be harmful.” 2.原文第3段“Planes using SAF release much less pollution. This is better for our planet...”及第4段“make flying more environmentally friendly”,国外航空公司购买SAF是为了保护环境。 3.原文第4段上文“airlines from Europe and America want to buy it”,这种想要购买的行为构成了一种“需求”,此处“demand”意为“需求”。 4.原文最后一段“Now, restaurants no longer...reuse it illegally. Instead, they sell it to factories...This keeps our food safe...”,将废油转化为SAF的直接结果是废油不再被用于食品,从而提高了食品安全性。 Rivers are one of our most important natural resources. 1.The river. 2.Since the beginning of history. 3.It is so wide and so deep that large ships can go about two thousand miles upon it. 4.Not only to irrigate their fields but also to make electricity for their homes and industries. 5.It’s important/necessary. I will ask people not to pollute the water. 原文首段末尾“Many of the world’s great cities are next to rivers, ... That plays an important part in the lives of its people.”,代词That指代前文的河流,直接点明河流在人们的生活中起到重要作用。 2.原文第二段第二句“Since the beginning of history, people have used rivers for transportation.”,直接点明从人类历史开端起,人们就依托河流开展水上运输。 3.原文第二段末尾“It is so wide and so deep that large ships can go about two thousand miles upon it.”,直接点明亚马孙河通航能力顶尖的原因。 4.原文第三段“Then people can use the water not only to irrigate their fields but also to make electricity for their homes and industries.”,直接说明大坝蓄水的两类用途,提取对应内容即可得出答案。 5. 1.Big pollution problems. 2.Clothing and plastic items. 3.Because they are small, stay everywhere and don’t break down easily. 4.They may hurt brain cells and change how the brain works. 5.To deal with the problem, we should make and use less plastic. 第一段首句直接写明“Microplastics (微塑料) are very small, but they can bring big pollution problems.”。 2.第二段总起句写明“Microplastics come from many places”后文举例“about 60 percent of material made into clothing is plastic... When water bottles and other big plastic items are left outside, they break down slowly into microplastics.”,说明衣物洗涤、大型塑料物品风化分解是微塑料的两个主要来源,整合两处原文内容即为答案。 3.第三段依次列出三点原因“less than 5mm long、stay nearly everywhere、don’t break down easily”,将三点原文信息精简概括,且控制在15词内即可。 4. They can even change how the brain works.”。 Passage11 (2026·吉林长春·一模) A warm cross-border (跨国) friendship has warmed millions of Chinese people recently. 1.In Luoyang. 2.To help Yin Yuzhen plant more trees. 3.On May 16, 2026. 4.Lots of warm-hearted people. 5.Exciting. 由第二段第一句“In 1999, Ronald Sakolsky worked as a foreign teacher in Luoyang.” 2.由第二段“He was determined to do something...to help her plant more trees.” 3.由第三段“Yin posted a video online on May 16, 2026.” 4.由第三段“With lots of warm-hearted people’s help, the two friends talked on the phone”可知,众多热心人帮助了他们通电话。 5.由第三段“Ronald felt very excited about this special reunion.” (每题答案不超过10个词) The air is thin and we have to rest several times on the short hike from camp. 1.On the plains of Xizang, Xinjiang, and Qinghai. 2.They were hunted and living space became smaller. 3.They watched over the antelopes day and night. 4.Because the antelope population has recovered. 5.We should change our way of life. 第二段“Tibetan antelopes live on the plains of Xizang, Xinjiang, and Qinghai.” 2.第四段“They were hunted for their valuable fur. Their living space became smaller as new roads and railways were built.”说明过去藏羚羊面临被猎杀和生存空间缩小两大威胁,答案整合为“They were hunted and living space became smaller.”。 3.第五段“Zhaxi and other volunteers watched over the antelopes day and night to keep them safe from attacks.” 4.第六段“The measures worked. The antelope population has recovered and in June 2015, the Tibetan antelope was removed from the endangered (濒临绝种的) species list.”
