Unit 6　Live green 单元导航 一、单元内容分析(Analysis of the Unit Content) 本单元的话题是“绿色生活”,属于“人与自然”主题范畴,涉及“环境保护”主题群。本单元主要由Starting out、Understanding ideas、Developing ideas、Presenting ideas和Reflection几个板块构成。 Starting out板块通过图片和简短对话引发学生对环境问题的初步思考。Understanding ideas 通过阅读一则关于塑料利弊的说明文,让学生辩证思考塑料对人类生活的影响,并学习构词法(合成、派生、转化)的相关知识。Developing ideas 的第一部分主要是听说的内容,通过讨论 “升级改造(upcycling)”的概念、改造对象及环保意义,引导学生思考如何用创意方式重新利用旧物、践行环保理念;第二部分为读写的内容,通过阅读一篇关于人类向 “无底洞” 倾倒垃圾、最终自食恶果的故事,引导学生反思环保责任与行为后果,并要求学生续写这个故事的结局。Presenting ideas要求学生小组合作制做一份家庭环保习惯的报告,锻炼学生的综合语言输出和团队协作能力。Reflection则鼓励学生对整个单元的学习过程进行反思,总结收获与不足,促进自主学习能力的提升。 二、单元教学目标(Teaching Objectives of the Unit) Language Abilities 1.Students will be able to use the words and expressions in the unit to talk about green living. 2.Students will be able to use word formation in discussions about environmental problems. 3.Students will be able to suggest ways to live a green life. Step 3 Work on Activity 2 1.Show the posters about special days and ask students to answer the questions. 2.Let students discuss in pairs and share their answers with the class.
