Presenting ideas & Reflection ◇目标导航◇ 类别 课时要点 教学重点 让学生以小组形式完成零花钱使用方案,向全班展示成果,并对本单元学习内容进行总结反思。 教学难点 引导学生制定合理可行的零花钱使用方案,能够流畅自信地进行陈述,并完成深入的自我评估。 ◇教学过程◇ Step 1 Leading in 1.Greet the class and briefly review the key points of this unit:vocabulary,adverbial clauses with “when” and “where”,views on money,and book review writing. 2.Introduce the task:“As we learnt at the beginning of the unit,we will make a plan for using our pocket money in groups and present it to the class.” Step 2 Preparation for the presentation 1.Divide students into groups of four.Guide them to think of ways to deal with their pocket money.Use the thinking map to help them. 2.Ask groups to make a detailed plan,including saving part for dreams,using part for daily needs,and donating part to help others.Encourage them to use adverbial clauses with “when” and “where” and the words and expressions from the unit. 3.Let groups organise their ideas with the help of the outline.Walk around to offer help if students have difficulties. Step 3 Presentation and voting 1.Ask groups to practise their presentations within the group first.Remind them to speak clearly and confidently. 2.Invite groups to give their presentations one by one.Encourage the audience to listen carefully and take notes. 3.After all presentations,hold a class vote for the best three plans (most reasonable,most practical) and the best three presentations (most fluent,most confident).
