Step 2 Work on 3a 1.Read the sentences in 3a and let the students repeat. 2.Let the students observe the sentences and find how the verb forms change with the subjects.Then ask some students to share their findings. 3.Explain the grammar points. Step 3 Work on 3b 1.Let the students complete the sentences with the correct possessive form (‘s ) of the words in brackets. 2.Explain the grammar points. 3.Check the answers.Ask some volunteers to read these sentences for the class. Step 4 Work on 3c 1.Let the students read the words in the box and then ask one student to read aloud the words to the class. 2.Let the students complete the passage with the correct forms of the verbs in the box. 3.Check the answers.
