Step 2 Work on 1a 1.Teach the new words in 1a and let the students read them aloud. 2.Ask them to look at the picture and match the things with the names. 3.Check the answers with the class. Step 3 Work on 1b 1.Let the students practise the conversation in 1a with their partners. 2.Then ask some pairs to act out the conversation. 3.Ask the students to make their own conversations using the words in 1a. 4.Invite some pairs to act out their conversations. Step 4 Work on 2a-2b 1.Ask the students to read the colour words in 2a and match them with the pictures. 2.Let the students practise the conversation in 2b.Then ask them to work in pairs and make their own conversations about the colour of the things in 2b. 3.Ask some pairs to act out their conversations and correct their mistakes. Step 5 Work on 2c-2d 1.Play the recording for the first time and let the students colour the things in 2c.Check the answers. 2.Play the recording for a second time and let the students complete the sentences in 2d.Check the answers.
