Step 2 Presentation 1.Present the sentences with comparative and superlative adjectives from the reading texts on the screen.Let students read the sentences carefully and observe the usage. 2.Explain the rules of forming comparative and superlative adjectives,including short adjectives,long adjectives and irregular adjectives.Use examples to illustrate each rule. 3.Write the rules on the blackboard. Step 3 Practice 1.Work on A (1)Let students complete the table with the correct comparative and superlative adjectives individually. (2)Check the answers together. 2.Work on B (1)Present Daniel’s notes about his classmates.Let students complete the notes with the correct forms of the adjectives.
