Marcus had always been told he was "smart but lazy." His teachers wrote it on his report cards, his parents said it at dinner, and even Marcus himself had started to believe it. He could understand complex ideas in class, but when it came to exams, his mind went blank. He studied for hours, rereading notes and highlighting textbooks, but nothing seemed to stick.
Then, in Year 11, his form tutor, Ms. Okonkwo, asked him a simple question: "How do you study, Marcus?"
