Step 2 Work on 3a 1.Ask students to read the conversation silently and tick the events that each person or family will watch in the table. 2.Check the answers and guide students to find key information about each person’s favourite events. Step 3 Work on 3b 1.Play the recording of the conversation.Ask students to listen and pay attention to how the speakers describe the events they like.Then let them role⁃play the conversation in pairs. 2.Invite several pairs to perform their role⁃plays in front of the class.Correct any mistakes.
