When I shared _______ with my friend
Level A:
Last winter, I shared my favourite book, The Little Prince, with my best friend Li Hua.
She felt sad because she failed the exam so I lent her the book to cheer her up. A week later, she returned it to me with a big smile and said, “ The story really touched my heart. Thank you!” We spent the whole afternoon discussing the book. That made me happy.
This experience taught me that sharing is more than giving. I learned a lot from it. I will keep passing on joy to others in need because the more we share, the warmer the world will become.
Level B:
Dear Lucy,
Last winter, I shared my favourite book, The Little Prince, with my best friend Li Hua.
She felt sad because she failed the exam so I lent her the book, hoping it would cheer her up. A week later, she returned it to me with a big smile and said, “ The story really touched my heart. Thank you!” We spent the whole afternoon discussing the book and her happiness made me feel warm inside.
This experience taught me that sharing is more than giving--it connects hearts. Whether it is a book, a song, or even a small snack, sharing turns ordinary moments into special memories. As the saying goes, “Happiness grow when shared.” I will keep passing on joy to others in the face of trouble because the more we share, the warmer the world will become.

Level A:
Order Your Time, Order Your Life
Every minute of our life is valuable and how we spend it shapes our days. Look at the two jars in the picture. The left jar puts big rocks first and makes room for everything while the right jar leaves no space for something important because sand takes up all the space. It is clear: always put first things first.
I was a poor time manager in the past. Every day after school, I would lose myself in games for hours. When I started my homework, I was very tired. Then I knew I had to change that. Now I follow the big rock life rule. I finish my most important tasks like studying, reading, and exercising--before anything else.
The result? I feel less stressed. I learn when you put first things first, you are not just ordering your time-you are ordering your life.
Level B:

The left jar makes space for everything by putting big rocks first while the right jar leaves no space for what truly matters because sand takes up all the space. It is clear that we should put first things first.
I used to be a poor time manager. Every day after school, I would check my phone first and lose myself in games for hours. By the time I started my homework, I was already tired. Then I realized it necessary for me to change that. Now I follow the big rock life rule. I finish my most important tasks--studying,reading, and doing exercise--before anything else.
What about the result? I get more done and feel less stressed. I am full of a sense of achievement. I have learned that when you put first things first, you are not just ordering your time-you are ordering your life.

Read ten thousand books, travel ten thousand miles
Ladies and gentlemen,
As the old saying goes, “Read ten thousand books, travel ten thousand miles.” It means that reading gives us knowledge from books, but traveling lets us see the world with our own eyes and learn things we can’t find in books. They both help us grow wiser.
Last summer, I visited the Great Wall. I read about its long history and how big it was in textbooks. However, when I stood on it, I was truly amazed by its greatness and the beautiful mountains around it. This trip made the history I read come alive!
This summer, I plan to travel to Yunnan with my family. I want to see the amazing Stone Forest and learn about the local Dai people. I also hope to experience their Water-Splashing Festival. I believe this journey will teach me much more about nature and different cultures.
Books and travel together help us learn best!
Thank you.

Hi, everyone! Welcome to the cultural week! Chinese fans are practical tools and beautiful works of art. Here is the fan I made.
To make this fan, I first prepared materials like paper, scissors, a brush, and ink. Next, I carefully cut out two pieces of paper for the surface of the fan. Finally, I used the brush to paint my design on one side. The design covers a traditional Chinese landscape with mountains, waterfalls, and pine trees. I hope there will be a good relationship between nature and humans.
This project was not only fun but also meaningful. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. Thank you!

Mental Health: Just as Important as Physical Health
Mental health is just as important as physical health, especially for teenagers.
Nowadays, many teenagers face much stress from study, relationships and trouble. Poor mental health will influence our daily life and even cause serious problems, so we must focus on it.
To keep good mental health, we should learn to relax ourselves. We can do sports or talk with our parents and friends when we feel upset.
I think we should pay more attention to our mental health. With healthy minds we can grow up happily and wisely.
