Music & Me: What Do You Listen To?

Music is an important part of our lives. Different kinds of music can bring us different feelings. Some music makes us happy, some makes us excited, and some makes us think deeply. In this lesson, we will read a conversation about a concert where students share their opinions on different performances.

Think about the following questions and share your ideas.

1. What kind of music do you usually listen to? (pop, classical, folk, rock...)

2. What musical instruments do you know? (erhu, piano, violin, guitar...)

3. Have you ever been to a concert? How did you feel?

4. Can you name any famous Chinese or Western musical pieces?
