Unit 7 语法精讲精练

定语从句（that /which/who 引导）

一、基础概念

定语从句：修饰名词 / 代词的从句，放在被修饰词（先行词）后面，相当于中文 “…… 的”。

被修饰的名词叫先行词；连接主句和从句的词叫关系代词，本单元 3 个核心：who /which/that。

例句：I like musicians who are creative.

先行词：musicians（人）；关系代词 who，从句 who are creative 修饰 musicians，翻译 “有创造力的音乐人”

二、三大关系代词用法

1. who 先行指人

先行词是人，从句缺主语 / 宾语，用 who，只能指代人。

例句：I like people who are friendly.

The girl who I met is a poet.

2. which 先行指物

先行词是事物、物品，只用 which，不能指人。

例句：I love music which tells stories.

This is the song which I downloaded last night.

3. that 既可指人，也可指物

人 = who，物 = which，绝大多数场景可替换；

唯一限制：介词后面不能用 that，只能用 which/who；

先行词被 all, everything, nothing, the only 等修饰，只能用 that。

4. 关系代词省略规则

关系代词在从句中作宾语时，that /which/who 可以直接省略；

作主语时绝对不能省略。

完整：We want to find out the music that everyone likes.（that 作宾语，可省）

不可省：I prefer music that is full of joy.（that 作主语，不能去掉）

三、句型合并解题步骤

找出两句中重复出现的名词（先行词）；

判断先行词是人还是物，选 who/which/that；

把带关系代词的从句放到先行词后面；

去掉重复名词，整合成一句话。

例：This song is my favourite. It uses violin.

先行词 song（物）→which；合并：The song which uses the violin is my favourite.

五、中考易错点

先行是人不能用 which；先行是物不能用 who；

从句缺少主语，关系代词不能删掉；

that 不能放在介词后：This is the house in which I live.（√ in that ×）
