1. What I know
2. What I want to know
3. What I learned
掌握社交媒体与自我管理主题核心词块,如 detox, fundraiser, give in, throw in the towel, catch up on, miss out;理解并识别形象化表达与对比手法,能借助文本细节推断参与者情感变化与作者立场。
灵活识别文中蕴含态度倾向的句式与表达,如“I felt like I had lost an arm!”“something other than money has also been raised”,准确区分字面描述与深层意图,在讨论与书面表达中运用对比结构清晰输出个人对社交媒体使用的理性见解。

Dear Chris,
I’m writing to recommend a meaningful activity called “Social Media Detox” to you.
Last week, our school held a seven-day campaign asking us to stop using social media. I managed to last four days. During the detox, I realised how much time I had wasted checking my phone. Instead of messaging friends online, I talked with them face to face and even picked up my old hobbies.
I strongly recommend this activity to you because it helps us realise the value of real communication and improves our self-management. I hope you can try it too!
Yours sincerely,
Li Hua
(1)你使用社交媒体的现状;
(2)社交媒体对你的积极影响与负面影响;
(1)词数100左右;
Social Media and Me
As a high school student, I spend about two hours on social media every day, mainly using WeChat and Douyin to chat with friends and watch short videos.
Social media brings me convenience. I can keep in touch with friends easily and get the latest news quickly. However, it also has negative effects. I often find myself checking my phone before sleeping, which reduces my sleep time. Worse still, I sometimes feel anxious if I don’t reply to messages immediately.
To improve my situation, I plan to set a time limit of one hour per day for social media use. I will also turn off my phone when doing homework and spend more time reading or exercising. I believe these small changes will help me live a healthier and more balanced life.
