We have a lot of scientists with such qualities around. Take for example, Deng Jiaxian, a key figure in China's "Two Bombs, One Satellite" program, worked in secret for decades with great patriotism and perseverance. In our new era, Tu Youyou and her team kept trying through years of trials and finally found artemisinin, saving millions of lives. They show us that real scientists serve the people both heart and soul and never give up.

There are many respectable scientists in the world. The one I admire most is Tu Youyou, the Nobel Prize-winning pharmacologist. She devoted her life to studying traditional Chinese medicine. Her most famous achievement was discovering artemisinin, a breakthrough treatment for malaria that has saved millions of lives worldwide.
What makes her truly admirable is her perseverance and selflessness. Despite difficult research conditions, she never gave up, even testing the medicine on herself first. Tu Youyou inspires me because she shows that true greatness lies in dedication to humanity. She is not just a scientist — she is a hero.

The person I admire most is Helen Keller (1880-1968) who was considered the most motivational figure in the 20th century.
Helen Keller, standing in the face of a great challenge and losing her sight and hearing, was not someone who gave up easily. She persisted in learning Braille. In 1904, Keller graduated from college and became the first blind and deaf person in the world to get a bachelor's degree. In addition, she wrote several books, which made great contributions to literature. She also traveled around the world to raise money and founded charities to benefit the disabled, improving the working and living conditions of them. At the same time, she gained the respect of the world.
What impressed me most is Keller's spirit — stay optimistic and never give up when times are hard.

Scientists who changed the world
Of all the great scientists that changed the world, Yuan Longping is the one I admire most.
Yuan Longping, a famous Chinese agricultural scientist, devoted his entire life to rice research. To solve world hunger, he successfully developed hybrid rice, which has greatly increased rice output. His great achievement helps feed hundreds of millions of people in China and many other developing countries.
I admire him for his selfless devotion and persistent spirit. He cared more about public well-being than personal fame, which inspires me to pursue a meaningful life that contributes to others.
