Unit 7 Lesson 1 Money in history 教学设计

一、教学目标

知识目标： 掌握核心词汇 currency, coin, shell, stamp, digital currency；了解中国货币演变史（贝壳-金属-纸币-数字货币）。

能力目标： 能听懂关于集邮和古币的对话细节；能讨论货币的未来形式。

情感目标： 培养对历史文化的兴趣，理性看待现代支付方式。

二、教学步骤

Step 1: Warm-up & Lead-in (导入) —— 激活已知，引入话题

I. 基础奠基 (全班达标)

任务： Brainstorming (对应教材 P86 Activity 1)。

操作： 教师在黑板上写下标题 "Money in history"，画一个时间轴。提问：What forms of currency do you know? 让学生快速头脑风暴，将单词卡片（shells, gold coins, paper money, digital currency）贴在时间轴上。

聚焦： 引出本课核心词 currency（货币）。

【预设学生反应】：学生能轻松说出 paper money 和 digital currency，但可能不知道 shells 也是古代货币。

【教师应对预案】：展示一张贝壳的图片，解释 "In the past, shells were money." 引入生词。

II. 能力进阶 (80%学生可做)

任务： Prediction (预测)。

操作： 展示教材 P86 图片（Wang Mei 和爷爷在看邮票），提问：Who are they? What are they talking about? 让学生预测对话主题。

引导： 学生可能会说 stamps 或 old things。教师进一步引导：Are stamps just for mailing letters? Or do they have another value? (引出 ancient currency 的概念)。

【预设学生反应】：学生可能无法直接将 stamps 和 currency 联系起来。

【教师应对预案】：提示学生看图片中的文字气泡，虽然听不懂，但能看到 "stamps" 和 "money" 这两个词。

III. 拓展选做 (*)

Step 2: While-listening (听中) —— 分层输入，捕捉细节

任务： Listening for Gist (泛听主旨)。

操作： 播放教材 P86 录音（Activity 2 第一段），学生回答一个问题：What are Pingping and her grandpa talking about?

选项： A. How to collect stamps. B. Different forms of ancient Chinese currency. C. The history of the Song Dynasty.

【预设学生反应】：大部分学生能选出 B。

【教师应对预案】：若选错，重播录音中 Grandpa 的第一句话："Let's start with these stamps... Think of the Chinese character 'buy'."

II. 能力进阶 (80%学生可做)

任务： Listen and Choose (精听选择 - 对应教材 P87 Activity 3)。

操作： 再次播放录音（包含邮票和硬币两部分），完成 True (T) or False (F)。

难点点拨：

Item B: "square hole" (方孔)。提醒学生注意录音中的细节，不仅仅是 coins。

Item D: Pingping 的观点。录音中提到 "learning history helps us understand our culture" -> 对应选项 D (understand our culture)。

【预设学生反应】：学生容易在 Item C 出错（Grandpa believes... always valued）。录音中 Grandpa 并没有说 "always"，而是说它们很有趣，代表了历史。
