Fun Times Park — Always a Fun Time!
Scene 1: Space World
Alice: I wonder where we should go next.
He Wei: How about that new ride over there?
Alice: Well… it looks scary.
He Wei: Come on! I promise it will be exciting! If you’re scared, just shout or hold my hand.
Scene 2: After the ride
He Wei: You were right! That was fun! I was scared at first, but shouting really did help.
Alice: See? That wasn’t so bad, was it? You never know until you try something.
He Wei: So, where should we go next?
Alice: Do you want to go to Water World?

1. I wonder where we should go next.

• wonder v. 想知道 = want to know
• 句式： wonder + 特殊疑问词 + 陈述语序（宾语从句）
• 例句：I wonder how I can improve my English.
• 注意： wonder后接宾语从句时，从句须用陈述语序（主语在前，谓语在后）。

2. How about that new ride over there?

• How about…? = What about…? 用于提出建议或征求意见，后接名词/代词/动名词。
• 例句：How about going to the park this weekend?

3. I promise it will be exciting!

• promise v. 许诺；保证
• 搭配：promise to do sth.; promise sb. sth.; promise + that从句
• 例句：My father promised to buy me a new bike.
