C Discovering Dunhuang: A Desert Adventure I decided to explore Dunhuang differently from most tourists. Instead of just visiting the famous Mogao Caves, I wanted to discover the hidden history and natural beauty of the Gobi Desert. This three-day adventure changed how I see this ancient Silk Road city. My journey started with a drive into the vast Gobi Desert. After two hours of driving through endless sand, I reached Yumen Pass.
