根据第一段“People once thought only 100 to 200 fans would join it, but as many as 1,200 visitors came to its first activity.
根据Activity arrangements部分中的"They can also take part in free yoga, running and art lessons. There are also open-air film nights and campfire parties.”
根据Notes部分中的"Those under 18 have to have grown-ups around them during the festival.” 故选A。
B
根据第一段第二句 “It lasts for 15 days but Chinese people also consider the days of preparation beforehand as an important part of the Spring Festival.”
25.答案:B 题型:代词指代题 解析:定位第三段划线句前后内容: “The most important custom of the Chinese Spring Festival is the big family dinner on the eve of the Chinese New Year. This is usually a big reunion of grandparents, parents, and children.” 代词 This 通常指代前文紧邻的单数核心名词,前一句中心名词为 the big family dinner on New Year’s Eve(除夕夜团圆饭),因此选 B。
根据第二段最后一句 “Eating fish, for example, is supposed to bring more wealth and prosperity than one needs, as the pronunciation of 'fish' in Chinese (yu) is also used for surplus.”
根据第二段 “The most important custom... is the big family dinner... It reflects how important family is to Chinese people.” 及最后一段 “More importantly, it is a special occasion to return home and gratefully reunite with family members.”
根据第二段“a robot called Lightning ... finished the half marathon in just 50 minutes, 26 seconds. That not only won the robot race, but beat Kiplimo's world record by almost seven minutes" j
再根据画线词后面"the course and not crashing into the other 300 robots running the race" Al,traversing在此处表示“沿着(赛道)行进”,与D项意
根据第四段“During the race, some fell, and others ran off the course. Many had to stop because of problems." 故选A。
根据最后一段“That's an area that many people think will be extremely important in the future. ... Given the huge improvements that happened in just one year, it's hard to know what robots might be able to do in the future."
根据第二段“As the Orion spacecraft returned to Earth, it faced extreme heat, entering the atmosphere at speeds of about 38,600 kilometers per hour. About 6.7 kilometers above the ocean, the parachutes (降落伞) opened up to slow the space craft down before it splashed down in the Pacific0cean.”
根据第四段“The astronauts were the first people to observe the entire side of the moon that faces away from Earth."
根据最后一段“The success of the mission is an important step towards NASA's
long-term goal ... The mission was also a practice run for future missions, including Artemis II, which is expected to land astronauts on the moon in 2028.
One such place is known as ‘The Poets' Corner'.
B 项“The forum didn't start out this way.”
A项“Here,they are no longer alone.” 故选A。
It is about building confidence.G项"For them, the forum is not just about sharing words."
41. B. ceremony
ceremony n.
42. B. typical
typical adj.
43. A. confusion
44. C. explanation
45. A. origins
origin n.
46. B. pride
固定搭配 take pride in = be proud of,意为 “为…… take advantage of 利用;feature 特征,无此搭配。
47. C. impressed
固定搭配 be impressed by 被……
48. B. accustomed
49. A. investigate
investigate v.

该空引导的是一个非限制性定语从句;先行词是“the exhibition‘Light of the Sun:A Dialogue Between Ancient Shu and Inca Civilizations"”,指物,在从句中作主语,所以用关系代词 which 引导。
此处用非谓语动词;the exhibition a powerful vehicle for cultural exchange是前面句子所产生的结果,所以用现在分词making作结果状语。
“be eager to do sth.”
“play a role in...”

Dear Tom,
How is everything going? I’m writing to tell you about the Dragon Boat Festival activities held in our school last week.
We learned to make zongzi and watched wonderful dragon boat dance shows. Teachers also told us the story of Qu Yuan, helping us know more about this traditional festival.
I felt excited and proud to experience Chinese culture. It was really meaningful.
I sincerely invite you to come to China and join us next time. You’ll surely love traditional Chinese festivals.
Yours, Li Hua
第二节
Aveline walked in nervously, wondering if she'd done something wrong. She stood there, afraid of looking at Soren. Soren smiled softly and asked her to sit down. He told her that he had read her post last night and felt sorry for her situation. He said he knew how much her motorcycle meant to her, especially for her sick mother. Then he pulled out a set of keys to a new motorcycle. "These are for you," he said quietly.
Aveline held the keys to the new motorcycle in surprise. She could not believe her eyes. "Why are you doing this for me?" she asked, tears in her eyes. Soren explained tha the had seen how hard she worked every day and that her post had touched him deeply. He said that a good boss should take care of his staff like family. Aveline thanked him again and again, promising to work even harder. That evening, she rode the new motorcycle home, feeling warm and grateful. She knew that kindness could be found in the most unexpected places.

the winning robot fell down at one point. But it was able to get back up and finish the race.In all,47

In the vast world of the Internet, there are special places where people who love poetry can gather.
36Unlike a physical classroom or a library reading room, this is an online forum where poetry lovers
from around the world meet to share their passion.
37Originally,the idea was simple:Members would post their favorite poems and comment on
them. However, the forum quickly evolved into something much more dynamic. It became a safe and
inspiring space for members to share their own original writing. What makes this forum unique is the
strong sense of community. For English teachers and learners in remote areas,it's hard to find English
books or like-minded friends. This online platform connects them to the wider English-speaking world.
38 They receive feedback and encouragement from peers around the globe, helping them grow as
writers.
The feedback from members is often full of praise and suggestions. As one forum member described
it,"I have seen that all the poems shared here are wonderful and they inspire me in several ways to share
my own poems with you."Another member added that the forum acts as a "growth tool"that helps him
discover his hidden talents.39 It is about building confidence.
The value of this forum extends beyond just learning grammar-it's about the human connection. It
proves that when people engage with creative material, they start seeing things from new angles. In a
world that often feels divided,a forum dedicated to poetry might seem like a small thing.40 It
proves that a few lines of verse can connect hearts across any distance.
A.Here,they are no longer alone.

In all,47 robots finished. Lightning robots came in first, second, and third in the race. The race was meant as a display for China's efforts in robotics. That's an area that many people think will be extremely important in the future. China already has more robots doing actual work than all other countries put together. Given the huge improvements that happened in just one year, it's hard to know what robots might be able to do in the future.

Recently, NASA's Artemis II mission, a historic 10-day journey - a journey of 1, 118, 500kilometers, came to an exciting end as the Orion spacecraft splashed down(溅落)safely in the Pacific Ocean.
It was NASA's first mission to the moon with astronauts since the Apollo program in the 1970s. The mission has set a new record for the farthest distance from Earth ever traveled by humans. As the Orion spacecraft returned to Earth, it faced extreme heat, entering the atmosphere at speeds of about 38,600kilometers per hour. About 6.7 kilometers above the ocean, the parachutes(降落伞)opened up to slow the spacecraft down before it splashed down in the Pacific Ocean.
The four astronauts, Reid Wise man, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen, have returned to Earth safely. The Artemis II mission has a large collection of "firsts". The astronauts included the first woman( Koch ), the first person of color( Glover), and the first non-American( Hansen, a Canadian)to go on a lunar mission.
The astronauts were the first people to observe the entire side of the moon that faces away from Earth. They got detailed views of the moon, and noticed craters( 陨石坑)and colors that have never been seen on the moon before. They saw the edges of the moon shining with light reflected from Earth. The astronauts made drawings and took photos, which will help scientists identify interesting areas for future study. They used new technology to quickly send photos and information back to scientists on Earth.
The success of the mission is an important step towards NASA's long-term goal of creating a base on the moon. The mission was also a practice run for future missions, including Artemis III, which is expected to land astronauts on the moon in 2028. Glover noted that the moon's south pole, where NASA hopes to land in 2028, will be a challenging area to land in and travel across.
32. What happened to the spacecraft before the parachutes opened?
A. It splashed down quickly. B. It went into the Earth's orbit.
C. It entered the atmosphere. D. It slowed down gradually.
33. What is one special achievement of this mission?
A. Giving birth to a new technology. B. Viewing the full far side of the moon.
C. Finding out the moon landing site. D. Identifying color types on the moon.
34. Why does the author mention the 2028 moon landing?
A. To introduce the need for a lunar base. B. To explain the south pole's challenge.
C. To present the next mission's schedule. D. To stress the Artemis II mission's value.
35. What is the best title for the text?
A. Artemis II : Final Moon Landing Plan B. Artemis II : Forgotten Old Space Dream
C. Artemis II : Astronauts' Space Records D. Artemis II : Lunar Exploration Progress

Aveline works as a waitress in a small restaurant in Oakland, California. She came to the city alone half a year ago and lives a simple life her only way to get around is an old electric motorcycle(摩托车), which she bought with her hard-earned money. Every day after work, she rides it back to her small apartment, tired but hopeful, because the motorcycle carries her dream of saving money to treat her sick mother back home.
Last Friday evening, after a busy workday, Aveline walked out of the restaurant happily, looking forward to a relaxing weekend. But when she got to the place where she parked her motorcycle, her smile disappeared immediately. The battery of her electric motorcycle was gone, leaving only an empty frame ( ) standing there, lonely and helpless. She looked everywhere anxiously, but there was no sign of the battery.Feeling sad and helpless, Aveline took out her phone and posted a short message on her social media, "The thief(小)is so kind - he stole my battery but left me the empty frame!" It was a sad joke, full of the hardships of a hardworking waitress. She did not expect anyone to notice her post, let alone her boss, Soren, who was always quiet and serious.
Soren has run the restaurant for five years. He always cares about his staff in his own way. He often asks them about their lives and helps them solve small problems quietly. When he happened to read Aveline's post that night, he felt worried. He knew how important the electric motorcycle was to her -she had mentioned her difficult family situation to him once when she was working overtime. He knew he should do something for Aveline.
The next morning, Aveline arrived at the restaurant, still sad. She didn't want to talk to anyone and just kept busy with her work. When the morning rush was over, Soren called her to his office.
