Wetlands Are Our Friends
Wetlands are very important natural places. The Mashu Great Sea Wetland in Qiaojia is a good example. Lots of wild birds stay there every year.
Wetlands can clean water and stop floods. They also grow special plants for animals to eat. But in the past, some people cut plants and caught birds there. The wetland became worse.
Now the government makes strict rules to protect wetlands. Workers take care of plants and watch birds every day. Schools organize students to visit wetlands for environmental lessons once a term.
When you visit wetlands, please follow these rules:
● Do not catch birds or pick wild flowers.
● Do not throw rubbish into the water.

If everyone follows the rules, wetlands will stay beautiful for many years.

A. Many wild birds. B. Large bronze works.
C. Old Yi villages. D. Big fruit farms.
32. What trouble did wetlands meet before?

Reasons to Learn About Our Hometown Culture
36 \\\\\\ But many students don’t know much about local culture. Here are reasons why we should learn it.
