为什么要使用被动语态?
先对比以下两个句子
A: Lisa made this coffee B: This coffee was made with beans.
A句的重点在谁做了咖啡,B句的重点在咖啡本身
再来观察出自China Daily某篇报道中的句子
A flock of egrets has recently been spotted dancing among trees. (最近发现有一群白鹭在林间翩翩起舞)
新闻关注的是在林间起舞的白鹭,而不是发现者本身,因此句子也把重点放在了白鹭上。
主动语态:关注点在谁做了这个动作。 Cindy locked the door after cleaning.
被动语态:关注点在什么东西被这个动作影响了。 The door was locked.
要学好甚至运用好被动语态,需要在写句子时分清楚句子关注的内容主体是什么再进一步选择主动或被动语态。
用一个场景进一步举例,若我们想写一篇有关JK Rowling文章介绍她的生平,我们可以写:JK Rowling wrote Harry Potter. 重点在于作者本人,因此我们用主动语态。若我们想写一篇文章介绍哈利波特这套小说,则可以写: It was written by JK Rowling. 此时的重点在书,作者本人只需提及并非重点,因此我们用被动语态。
结构:
be + done 是被动语态的基本结构,在此基础上done是固定的动词形式,be会随着时态变化而使用不同形态
一般现在时
am/is/are done
一般过去时
was/were done
一般将来时
will be done/ be going to be done
现在进行时
am/is/are being done
过去进行时
was/were being done
现在完成时
have/has been done
过去完成时
had been done
情态动词
情态动词+be+ done
必考点:
1.by:
句末可以加by+动作发出者,但若没必要知道发出者时,可以省略
2.主动变被动:
宾语提前做主语,谓语动词改形式,主语放在by之后,其他位置均不变
3.没有被动的情况:
系动词,不及物动词(比如happen,occur,come true,appear等词性为vi.)
4.主谓一致
被动中的be与句子主语单复数一致。
5.还原to
被动句中谓语是使役动词make,感官动词see, hear, watch, notice, observe, listen to, feel时,需要还原to
He made his sister cry – His sister was made to cry.

Many strict rules are made to keep our school clean. All rubbish is divided into different bins by students every day.
Last Friday, a clean-up activity was held in our school yard. Old waste books and plastic bottles were collected by us. Lots of useless desks were moved to the recycling room.
Besides, more green plants were planted around the playground.
Next month, a speech will be given to attract more people to join us. We believe our school will be turned into a beautiful garden if everyone takes action.

Many kinds of books are kept in our school library. All books are put in order on different shelves.
Last week, some new storybooks were bought and they were placed near the reading seats. There are strict rules here. Books must be returned within two weeks. Food and drinks can’t be brought into the reading room. Every table should be cleaned after reading. I hope more interesting books will be added soon.
